Hey 420...If you are here, thank you! I am stoked to be back on the board with this gem from Solfire Gardens called Terpgasm. I've got all sorts of funny comments prepared to plug into this intro, none of which pass my fairly porous potty-mouth filter, so for now I'll keep them to myself and jump right into the good stuff!

If you have been following me for a while, you may recall that I traded for this seed during my last grow (BubbaWhip!) with a friend of mine. While I can't find too much about this leaved lady "on the line" (caution, this is a tough "google", be careful who is around :)), I have it on good authority that she's a beauty....see below for a bit more detail and spec's.
  • Terpgasm
  • Breeder: Solfire Gardens
  • Feminized Photoperiod, Grown Indoor and in Soil
  • Indica Dominant Hybrid (70/30 Indica/Sativa)
  • Lineage: Solfire Gardens Sin-n-Juice x Udder Madness
  • TAC 30%+
  • Indoor Flower Time: 55-65 days
  • Outdoor Harvest Date: End of September-Early October
  • Height/Stretch: Moderate (~75%), Very Bush-Like (short-wide)
  • Yield (per sf): Heavy
  • Terpenes: Orange, mandarin-cream, citrus, & sweet fruit
  • Appearance: Dark, waxy green leaves. Where Sin n Juice flaunts dark purple flowers throughout the cross, Terpgasm draws something exotic from Madness that results in a color show, with soft, bubbly velvet, pink flowers ranging from magenta to hot-pink.
  • Tips from the grower: Vigorous bush, good SCROG candidate.
  • Notes from Breeder: It's no secret Sin n’ Juice was one of my favorite exclusive crosses from the Mind Flayer line up so when it came time to pair strains that would compliment each other and bring a complex citrus profile it was a simple choice to include Sin n Juice. Right from the start I was intrigued with this cross. The seeds themselves were unique, slightly more round, very healthy, khaki brown in color with deep black tiger stripes. I think its the rich khaki coloring that makes them so odd looking to me but very cool. Expect vigorous vegetative growth, be ready for blast off once these seeds pop. Many of our test phenos had dark flat waxy green leaves similar to what we see in the Udder Madness, with varying degrees of underside color and little to no fade. The stretch in week 1-3 of flower was actually moderate and of all the crosses in this line Terpgasm stayed the shortest and widest for us. One thing I especially liked was how easy it was to maintain and keep uniform. She’s a bonified bush, I’m talking tops all over. She was simple to grow, looks amazing, yields well and best of all brings an orange orgasmic smell to the Madness line.

Containers, Soil, Amendments, Nutrients, and Supplements
  • I plan to start my baby girl in a clear solo-cup (inside a red solo-cup) with a 33%/33%/33% mix of Fox Farm Happy Frog, Jiffy Starter Mix, and Perlite, plus a teaspoon of Great White Mycorrizae. I’ll transplant her to an 8” (about 1G) plastic pot after ~15 days and then to her final home, a 5-gallon fabric pot. I’ve already prepared the soil for the solo-cup and soaked it today in a PH’d (6.8) DI water/calmag (200ppm) solution.
  • Nutrients: I’ve been using a subset of the FoxFarm nutrient line since my first grow and have had good success, so plan to stick with their core 3 (Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom).
  • I’ll be supplementing feeds with FoxFarm CalMag, Silica, Great White Mycorrizae, FoxFarm Flower’s Kiss, and FoxFarm Bembe’, a carb product for the bugs in the late-flower watering rotation. More on (all of) this as we move along.
Training Techniques
  • I am going to quadline and then SCROG her (don't call the police :)). She seems like a good candidate for this by nature (short and bushy) so I am going to give it a try. One problem, I don't know how to SCROG, but I've been reading (many of your journals to be honest) and have an idea of what to do, so it should be fun watching me figure this out along the way.
Today is day 1 of her life. I dropped a single Terpgasm bean into a small glass of neutral, bottled H2O warmed to ~75D. The seeds do look weird like the breeder described, very tan and striped (like they were dried out/cracked!). I'll move them to a paper towel to germinate tomorrow morning after ~24 hours of soak time.

Peace and thanks for following along. I'll get some picts out tomorrow (new phone/camera coming, dropped the old one in the river the other day!)
