Who wants to help me decide which one or two I should get started immediately for my indoor grow? I'd love your input, I want to get at least one, maybe 2-3 beans started by tomorrow.

Other news, my vape is going to arrive some time today! Lester if you're there, I'd love to hear any tips/tricks to getting started with it (if not its ok - I have eyes that can read instruction manuals too lol, I just am doing my best to avoid them :laughtwo:)! I can't wait to try it out.

In some other news - my dog Gandhi (the chocolate pit mix) ran away yesterday - I was freaking out, sobbing uncontrollably, he never ran away before. It was one of the loneliest nights of my life (he always sleeps in bed with me lol) but this morning I called animal control, and learned a really nice lady down the street had found him running around, got him inside, and didn't let them take him to the pound. He got to sleep in bed with her even! Spoiled dog! He wasn't even too excited to see me!! :laughtwo: He just looked at me as if to say, "Oh yeah, I went for a little stroll and met a new friendly family to go have sleepovers with. Sorry if ya missed me, I had a grand old time." - lol the two little puffball pugs that they had were attached to his hip too, I could barely get him in my truck without them.

Well today's a new and wonderful day! and my new laptop should be here soon so I won't be limited to a few minutes on my dad's desktop. I should get to answering you guys though.. ;)
HEY!

I heard colorado is getting some low 80's temps! outdoor ladys must be loving it! our nights are dipping into the low 40's so hopefully we can push through another month here in the mtns for the outdoor growers!

I&i
Oh Gfc, its been awesome, I'm sure in the mountains are another story but down here, things are nice as could be. I should be able to keep plants going outdoors until early-mid december as long as I keep them inside until about 11 in the morning and put them back in by 7 p.m. on sunny days. On crappy days they can just stay by the window or go into my flower room for a while :) I've done it before and been amazed how long I can keep growing despite the change of seasons.

Colorado weather is weird, but as long as giant snow storms don't come out of nowhere and stay around (sometimes you'll get 8+inches of snow and it melts the next day!) I think I can keep capitalizing on mother nature, but if I have to stop I'm prepared for that too.

Hope you can push through another month!! :circle-of-love:
You are certainly right GFC, damn near record setting in Denver today
and there's still people that give no credit to global 'weirding'... >.< Hi corgie! :ciao:
I tried other forums, and wound up here because of all the reasons you mentioned above. And honestly, you can only read so many "my mom/dad caught smoking what do i do?" topics before you realize you're on the wrong forum.
hahahahah :laughtwo: :) I guess I just got lucky and started my forum experiences at the right place!
 Yeah that would be a tall tell sign..
:laughtwo:
I'm not gonna lick anybody's ass here and say "Oh how wonderful this forum is", but it's good enough for me and would be much better without few ABSOLUTELY stupid rules. I actually registered on another forum, which is at least as good as that one, but definitely different, and I never wrote a post. Still, I like to read it if I want some more detailed information on genetics, which you can hardly find here.
Yeah I agree there's some rules here that aren't ideal and I think those are really dumb. But I also really do think its a wonderful forum ;) call me a suck up but I really really have never enjoyed the internet so much as since I joined this forum. But I'm at a point in my life where I'm not very social and don't get out much lol, I still don't know anyone local to hang out or chat with. This forum is the ideal social media place for me, because most (not quite all) people here are really friendly and supportive and like minded. Its hard to find a place I can connect with people and share a common passion like here, I'm still getting used to how cool it is lol. But I bet there are other forums that are awesome, I'm just happy with this one for me. :Namaste: :ciao:
Congratulations on your harvest! !!!!!!!!!
Thank you tempo :) :thankyou:
Not butt kissing C, just stating my opinion and like Butt-holes we all have one. I love it here for the comraudary probably more than the info.
I love both very much, but I'm probably more here for the camaraderie too :circle-of-love::passitleft: I wasn't trying to butt kiss either hahaha :) I just do love this forum, or rather, the people that it allowed me to meet and share with.
Company is excellent, that for sure!
Definitely! :high-five::volcano-smiley:
hahah Hi Bee! Happy Shatterday to you! :passitleft:

I'm going to try and get 8 really good pictures today for a little update LOL - still waiting on that memory card for my new digital camera, until I get that, 8 at a time is all I can do >.< :wood:

Excellent news, there's never enough beans on yr hand :) And that's why I still believe in growing scene as these gestures are more important than their content by which I'm not sayin these seeds are not so important :) Yu got sth to ponder now I believe. I'd go with genetica that produce high yu're really after. Personally, I'd grow Mekong High straight away as this is south Asian sativa just slightly cut with some Afghan, but that's just me :Hookah:

Yeah its incredible. I'm blown away by his kindness... SO thankful. I wonder which ones he'd suggest trying out first. Yeah, a random act of kindness like this shows that we have a unique and great community among us growers.

Mekong sounds cool though, I think I may have one participant :) I'll probably want to keep those genetics alive as long as possible.. well I always have a hard time saying goodbye to a strain haha.

Anyways time for my... First Outdoor Plant Update with Good Pictures!!!
As promised, there are only eight. No more, no less. And I got a bit caught up on Euphoria LOL. So here's euphoria...

In some other news... I got my new laptop! I can do more posting here and get back to normal, still waiting for that memory card for my camera though >.< until then... eight pics at a time. When I get it, I might go crazy and do a KJC style update LOL.

And.. I got the Extreme Q~!~! And I am in love. It rocks as much as I hoped it would. My half cured harvest tastes AMAZING out of it, just like mellow coffee and pine sol lol, I'm not so upset about my harvest anymore, although I know it could have went much much better. I am so happy I bought this vape. Worth every penny. My Dad and I are pretty darn medicated tonight hahaha :volcano-smiley::circle-of-love::green_heart:

Hope everyone else is having a wonderful evening and had a day as good as mine :)

Nah they're in the attic, and they're pissed, it gets hot up there :laughtwo:
Thanks Corgie :) I'm ALOT happier with my pics now. And I might harvest a plant tomorrow.. we'll see.. I love this EQ Arizer. And right, I'm so lucky.. I can't believe I have a real seed stash now :)

On top of the other strains I mentioned I also have 3 BBK seeds, 1 Euphoria seed, 3 OG Kush PR seeds, 1 Ghost OG seed, 1 African Buzz Seed from Seedsman Seeds (regular 100% sativa African Landrace similar to Malawi Gold), 1 Chronic x Northern Lights (fem) from Spanish Seeds, and 4 more regular Medicann Blue Blood seeds.

dang why are all my updates at the bottom of the page lol. :bump::lot-o-toke:

Good-looking plants, how are temps there day/night?

Hi Conrad :) the temps have been pretty warm lately, during the summer it gets really hot, like up to ~105 degrees F during the day, but lately they've stayed under 90 and above 60 at night. There was one cold front that dropped below that, but that was all so far :) we've had some crazy rainstorms but only a couple and the plants seemed to handle them fine. :Namaste:

Hey guys, Juicy Lucy is coming down tonight :)
She could have went better, but she smells like lemon pez taste. She's at 90% cloudy, and about 10% amber, but the ambers are starting to degrade so I decided it was her time. I've been out there defoling in prep for the harvest. I just stopped when I realized I was trimming sugar off >.< and straight into her soil. All there is now, is to share some pics, have a moment of silence for her, study up a little more on DocBud's bud washing method, and then its chopping, dunking and hanging time for her. I'm going to include some hydrogen peroxide, but half as much as he recommended, because I got some PM while curing Big Mama, hopefully that will help with that.

Now a moment of silence... :Namaste:  :rip::thanks:

Now to go learn a little more about bud washing, then on to the dirty work. :ciao::circle-of-love:

Just great, SG, just great. You deserve this. A genuine, warm, well-done virtual hug to you. And I'm not a touchy-feely kinda guy.

Very very nice SoilGirl! :thumb:

Amazing

The pictures are splendid :cheertwo: Enjoy that girl :circle-of-love:

Congratulations on your Juicy Lucy harvest!

congrats on the chop , hope the wash goes well :high-five:

congrats again! What are you gonna do with all that great bud? Thats enough to last me a lifetime! LOL. Great Job

Thanks everyone!! I wish I could give you all a big old :hugs:  I really appreciate all the kind words, and the reps!

The wash went well, I think! :) I did the wash like this:

Four buckets - First bucket: 3 parts room temp tap water, 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide
second bucket: 5 gallons of room temp tap water, 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup of ReaLemon juice from concentrate
third bucket: 5 gallons of hot tap water
fourth bucket: 5 gallons of cold tap water

30 seconds swishing around in each. Something odd I noticed was whenever I would dip the fresh branches in the first bucket, my nose would just get absolutely flooded with those amazing lemon pez terpenes, (I say lemon pez, but its so much more complex and sweet... it's like lemon pez meets trainwreck with a little sprig of mint) I hope it wasn't the peroxide killing off those terpenes!! I'd be heartbroken if I didn't get to taste it the way it smelled... >.<

I was also surprised at how little came off of my buds in the buckets, the first one mostly just had little bits I trimmed that hadn't fell out yet, but there was a little dust and a couple tiny hints of oily drops at the very surface of the bucket. The second one, I can't really tell if it got much out of my buds, because its already a bit murky from the lemon juice and baking soda; but needless to say, my buckets weren't left filled with bugs or a brown color of water or anything haha. I was expecting much worse since I grow outdoors. I guess thats good news. :passitleft:

I'm thoroughly exhausted now, I couldn't stop my hands from shaking to get a good trichs pic post-wash, but I got a couple halfway decent pics where you can...kinda see the trichs Lol. They still ARE there, trust me ;) although I might have lost like 5% of them in the wash. Oh well. To me the peace of mind is already worth it - if it tastes much better and smokes smoother that will just be a big bonus to me :)

So here Juicy Lucy's buds are hanging :) she's covering about 6 feet of line hahah.

Here's some of her buds - I am so tired I just couldn't stop shaking, sorry for the blurs! It's about time to fire up the Extreme Q and go to bed, god my back even hurts... I feel old :O

I am not getting that amazing smell off her anymore, I'm hoping its just from being clogged with water and will come back soon, cross your fingers for me >.<
Time for a vape and a bed for me, goodnight everyone :) thanks for coming by. :volcano-smiley::Namaste:

P.S. I have a couple low growth nugs off of her that I left unwashed for comparison, I'll compare washed and unwashed in my bong and in my EQ once they're cured, and see if the extra effort and expense is worth it to me to bud wash. I doubt this will be my last time washing. :ciao:

thanks for the photo update. Nice to see them all hanging up and drying.

Hello SG. Congrats on start of a bountiful harvest. Buds look very, very good! Your grower talent much more apparent w/ the clearer pics. Looked up Euphoria genetics...lots of interesting strains in lineage. Good report on washing. It makes good sense but I don't do it. Remaining plants got a good rain wash Thur. so that's as far as I'll go. Probably too old school, plus I no longer foliar feed & was lucky enough to only need 4 sprays of spinosad this yr.
