I feel like I'll live through this last harvest of unwashed buds, but I will probably regret not washing soon... oh well. But in the future I will be doing a lot of bud washing. I'm still hesitant to commit my whole harvest to it just yet, but we'll see how it goes... I've been dying for another nice sample off Euphoria but have been holding back - I think I'll do a mini wash for a single branch off Euphoria tomorrow, and if the sky doesn't fall from doing a wash on her I'll probably wash the rest of her in my next harvest, she won't be long, I could chop her now and be delighted, but I want to milk her for ambers and a strong super-stoney high. :lot-o-toke:

That's one I couldn't answer Organics. :420: is and has always been the only forum I do. I've heard rumors about other Grow sites having rudeness, holier than Thou attitudes, adolescent behavior, and dis-respectful members.
So I just stick to this "Decent Grown Folk" site. Learned all I know about cannabis other than smoking it right here on 420.

I frequent several forums but am most active here. Lets not pretend other forums don't exist though. ;)
I haven't seen much mention of bud washing outside of 420mag, but there are lots of forums that I don't visit or don't even know exist. Just curious, that's all.
 
To tell the truth, I never was a fan of social media at all until I started growing. I found 420 and the rest was history. I've made some dynamic Cyber friendships here which a few are better than some of my Real World friends. I don't Tweet, Acebook, or any of that crap, just 420...

wait, this is a form of social networking.. (facepalms) i am one against facebook, myspace, twitter, pinterest, and all the other whatevergrams out there as well. but i never thought of this as a social network until you mentioned this.

ive scanned other forums to cross check sources and peoples results but when the sites make you become a member to see photos, or as mentioned is a thread full of bashing and not even constructive criticism, why would one want to spend their time with that. here, at least rudeness is overwhelmed with jokes and kindness.

Well my dad's laptop which him and I were sharing felt my midas touch of techno-death yesterday... :laughtwo: My Dad doesn't want me on his desktop because he thinks I''ll kill it too - but I have a few minutes on it. Wow I missed a lot of conversation here, sorry for that! The new laptop is on the way and I'll be back to my regular amount of posting here soon but I might not be here much for a few days. >.< ....still waiting on that memory card for my camera, but soon there will be lots of pics for everyone! Can't wait to share how beautiful Euphoria is looking, with a real camera :)

Thanks Reg! I'm a bit disappointed in the harvest, only a fraction of the yield I expected, and lower quality than my standards...its a bit upsetting. Messing around with bottled nutes and pH adjustments is Stupid - lesson learned.

Hahaha I cracked up at that little MP story too ;)

oh thanks for wondering MP, :Love: yesterday - and today now that he's finally awake, he's been in a kinda dark mood. Not fighting with him or anything but its kinda scary. He's been drinking lots of whiskey. I'm mostly avoiding him, but I can tell he's about to get mad and yell at me to clean the kitchen, I suppose it needs done, but I hate being yelled at. Oh well, I don't want to fight, I'll just do it after this.

Monoraid? - Don't have any of that haha I think you mean Azamax? No I didn't use that, or the Garden Safe BT dust, just the MGIS w/ spinosad. I can't remember either Lol - but thank you! Like I said to Reg, I'm pretty disappointed in it, Big Mama honestly ended up as one of the worst plants I've grown for years, what a way to start my first journal here >.< she tastes alright, but she's so spindly and didn't fill in for crap. Really messed her up - and I think I'm finally realizing why, (beyond the pH issues) I'll go into that later though. It's whatever though, much better plants are on the way, I'll redeem myself Lol :Love: :cheertwo:

Yeah probably not best to wash now. haha. :Namaste:

LOL I saw budwashing on Rado's first journal first, and was like, :thedoubletake: why would you do that??? So I understand the sentiment. But I'm doing my best to get past that knee jerk reaction lol, the idea is sound IMO, I'm sure there's lots of crap in our buds we don't want there that can be removed with a simple wash.

If I had to guess, since DocBud was one of the first if not the first to write it out, I think its probably by far most popular here, but I wouldn't doubt there's others that wash. ;)

Amen again ;) I wouldn't like this forum at all if there was the sort of bashing you see incessantly on youtube, or elsewhere on the internet. We've found and made this a great community. :circle-of-love:
 
HEY!

I heard colorado is getting some low 80's temps! outdoor ladys must be loving it! our nights are dipping into the low 40's so hopefully we can push through another month here in the mtns for the outdoor growers!

I tried other forums, and wound up here because of all the reasons you mentioned above. And honestly, you can only read so many "my mom/dad caught smoking what do i do?" topics before you realize you're on the wrong forum.

I'm not gonna lick anybody's ass here and say "Oh how wonderful this forum is", but it's good enough for me and would be much better without few ABSOLUTELY stupid rules. I actually registered on another forum, which is at least as good as that one, but definitely different, and I never wrote a post. Still, I like to read it if I want some more detailed information on genetics, which you can hardly find here.
 
Not butt kissing C, just stating my opinion and like Butt-holes we all have one. I love it here for the comraudary probably more than the info.
