SOGgy Daze Ahead For Mr. Krip!

Hi Mr.K,
I caught up just in time for the pic/update. Things look wonderful in your garden. That harvested PE sure is pretty :yummy:

How tall is Lucy II, the one in veg?
:Namaste:

Thanks, Sqwheels! :thanks:

She's right at 16" now and I'm not gonna let her get much taller. I can easily take several 6+ inch clones, which help keep the veg times short to prevent that branching you were asking about! :)

Looking good Mr. Krip. As is your usual. Beautiful tops you have going. Can't wait to see the Lucy mom flower. :thumb:

Thank you, my friend! :thankyou:
Yeah, with the fat colas on that Lucy, I'm pretty anxious to see her flower, too! :MoreNutes:

ANOTHER PINEAPPLE EXPRESS HARVESTED

I harvested another PE this morning.

Here are the pre-trim pics:

WOW Mr.K...:yikes:

Not only am I extremely sorry for my disappearance, I am just blown away by the progress of this journal...
Some of those plants should be on the cover of a magazine :bravo:

Stuff was pretty rocky over here but things are smooth now and I would love to continue following a long if you don't mind:Namaste:

I am seriously in awe and have absolutely nothing to say but excellent job!....and I'm sorry :sorry:lol

I'm not ordering today, but thought I'd put my 4.20 cents in...

Purple does not necessarily equal "knock you out good"! Although there are some good purple strains/phenos, IMHO purple strains are more for commercial growers because of the bag appeal than for real "connesseurs" looking for "top quality" meds.

No doubt about that! Most of the stuff being sold out there today as GDP for example IS NOT actually GDP. A lot of it is your garden variety Purple Urkle crossed with who knows what. As you said, there are some truly kick ass strains of purple weed out there, but finding it amongst all the crap is the biggest challenge.

As someone already mentioned earlier here, Ken Estes is now selling a seed based version of his famous original, but I have no idea how it compares to the original clone only version that I have growing here. Would be the best place to start though if you are looking for a good purple strain with some potency and actually produced/provided by the guy who invented GDP. Unfortunately, most personal growers and patients have never actually obtained the genuine article, but instead were sold one of the hundreds of FAKE GDP strains out there now that are often lack luster compared to the real thing.

I personally feel that this has a lot to do with why many people say that GDP is overrated. Only way you would feel that way is if you have never actually smoked a bud of the real thing. I've never had anything quite like it, and I have grown as well as purchased a lot of different strains.

RE: THC... I'd put my genuine Ken's Cut GDP up against any strain on this site, and I would venture to say that it would kick the ass of 95% of the strains being grown out there today in terms of THC percentage.

Ken's Cut has been tested by hundreds of dispensaries since 2003. Its THC percentage ranges from 19-23+% depending on who grew it and where. I haven't had mine tested, but I would say it is at least 20% if not higher, AND it does produce a respectable CBD level for this type of weed if left to flower longer into weeks 9-10. A week 7 harvest is way too strong for my tastes! Some of the most potent weed I have ever tried hands down.

If you are looking for a non-purple strain with impressive numbers, I highly recommend the Medicinal Organic Nursery version of Blueberry Cheese (Blue Cheese). Another high THC strain with a great floral bouquet in the jar as well as in your smoking vessel of choice. :thumb:

No need to apologize, at all, MissB! I've been gone quite a bit myself and your position here is permanent! :)

Thanks for the good words! :thanks:

I'm a little late jumping on board, but I like what I see here Mr.K. I vegged my 2L's too long, but I like the way yours turned out. What are you trying to get your cloning times down to from cut to 2L?

Nice Bud pics too, makes me drool. In a good way :)

Thanks, Surf & :welcome:
Right now I'm getting clones rooted in about a week and vegging for about another 2 weeks to get them to at least 12" so they finish at the size I want.

LUCY NOT HARVESTED TODAY!

Just a quick update on one of the Lucy plants due to be harvested today. I've noticed that, although she's a real nice smoke, even after 70 days of 12/12 she has very few amber trichs. So, rather than harvesting her today, I'm gonna let her go another week, or until I see at least 20% amber, and see what she's like then.

In the mean time, she's got a real FAT cola and I had to stake her up right after taking these pics to make sure she didn't fall over! :MoreNutes:
