Sniff sniff sniff sniff: What y'all smoking on?

Acapulco Gold and the Beatles.
Another classic strain paired with another classic album.

This is a great thread. Why aren’t more people posting their smokables here?

What the hellfire i missed all these awesome album posts! Sorry cannamusic!.

To wrap up the weekend, I’m gonna listen to Jethro Tull’s “Thick As A Brick” and enjoy some homegrown Gorilla Glue.

This album is definitely one of the best LP’s they did. One long song covering both sides of the original vinyl. This remastered CD splits the song where side 2 would begin. Clocks in at over 44 minutes. A true Progressive Rock masterpiece.

I'm currently doing Double Sour. Bought an ounce this past Sunday for $90 ($100 - 10% military discount).

I mostly vape it in a handheld dry herb vaporizer, since that tends to be much more efficient than smoking. I will smoke it too sometimes, as a special indulgence though; but mostly vaping. I think I have a bowl of Strawberry Fields leftover as well; the last batch I bought about 2 months ago).

However, this is just to tide me over until my Feyleaf comes of age. After that, who knows when I will need to buy again?

Raven your plants look real nice, I hope the Double sour holds you over. I'm shocked at the price! Is weed going for that normally? I't 380$ here in MA in a dispensary
Damn! I thought we were pricey down here in TX at $275 an O for "dispensary herb" on the street.
I'd be broke up there man... lol
I still depend on the "plug" regularly because my plants never harvest what I expect. LoL
:passitleft:

Can I step in and comment? (not trying to hijack) - I pay anywhere from $250 to $400 per ounce from my online source. Depends on whether it is top shelf or stemmy stuff - and I grow better! But like you, Preston, I never get what I expect. Except maybe that is coming to an end! LOL -

Sometimes when I’ve had a hard day, listening to some good n’ heavy music puts me back in a good mood. So tonight it’s Black Sabbath & Blue Indica.

Their 4th album was quite advanced from the earlier LP’s. Very heavy, riff-laden music as you’d expect, yet more mature in the song structure and lyrics department. “Tomorrow’s Dream, “Supernaut” , “Snowblind” & “Wheels of Confusion” being standouts on the disc for me. The music kicks your butt, but doesn’t beat you over the head like some of the newer metal does. This is very listenable.

Ya gotta smoke some super stoney Indica while listening to super stoney music. Homegrown is the only way to go.
The couch lock effect just seems right..

Expect it to end. If you hang here long enough things get better.

I love Friday night. I can stay up late, indulge in some homegrown and listen to tunes in headphones all night if I wanna. Oh.. and I do wanna ...

Tonight it’s Heart’s wonderful 4th album Dog and Butterfly.
I think this one is my favorite of theirs. I has the excellent “Straight On”, “High Time” & the title track.
Ann Wilson is in top form here, showing her gentler, vulnerable side on “Lighter Touch” and really showing her vocal power on the very heavy “Mistral Wind”. Sister Nancy plays great guitar & sings beautiful backing vocals throughout, and turns in a very sweet and heartfelt lead vocal on “Nada One”.

A couple bowls of OO Kush leads me into the disc with the proper state of mind.

Enjoy your Friday night everyone!

Fine combo there

Friday night once again. Finally another relaxing weekend is upon us!

Tonight I’m dedicating my bud and music selection to a fine new friend who shares my love of the music of Led Zeppelin and the satisfying joy of growing our beloved cannabis.

Someone once asked me what my favorite Zeppelin album was. After thinking for a moment all I could say was “probably the one I listened to last”. So the fantastic Houses of the Holy will take that lofty position tonight.

Some dense Blue Indica bud (Blue is the breeder, not the color) lends itself to a stoney enjoyment of the classics “The Song Remains the Same”, “Dancing Days”, “ The Ocean”, “Over the Hills and Far Away” & the trippy and moody “No Quarter” . Love this disc. So does my new friend..

Speaking of Zep. While waiting for Ms otter's Dr appt. today I watched and listened to Heart cover Stairway to heaven on their live from Seattle dvd. It soberly blew my head right off my shoulders and left me a tingling puddle of flesh sitting in the car(doors locked). 2 Giant musical favorites here. I gotta do that high
