No forced intervention here haha I've got a good feeling .

I wanted to make an inappropriate comment about invading your land and violating your woman, but decided against it. Happy 26th and whatever happy day harvest day is. :cheertwo:

You were much bigger than that on 17th so you will be exponentially bigger than his when you finish.

Thanks grengo don't worry my ancestors lands were also invaded by the English way back when in Scotland.
Same happened to many countries and is what makes this world what it is ATM
If Australia wasn't taken by the English it would have been some other country
I celebrate this day as a third generation Australian my grandparents came here in the early 50s as children with my great grandparents.
I call Australia home and will celebrate today as that cheers

I don't feel any pride in what my ancestors did, but realise that what you say is true - at least you speak English - well, in a fashion. :)

But I still razz my relatives who are 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Aussies. One thing I do like about you (how can I phonetically write the abominable way the Americans pronounce aussies with a sibiliant, sssnake tongued sss?) aussies is your sense of humour and true grit!

Keep it green and keep on smiling (and you definitely have something to grin about even before harvest)!

BTW, my username is a phonetic play on words from my time in Latin countries.

Happy Australia day gents. As for MMA , well it's the only sport i like watching/learning BUT it's turning into WWE and i'm not happy about it. The new UFC owners are not what the sport needs. Conor is good at what he does but he is far from a complete fighter right now, I have all ways been a Diaz Bro fan and always will. Jorge vs Cowboy this weekend should be a barn burner ! Training high to BJJ when hip hop is playing is what i call 3 birds one stone.

Damn!

You did say you had very clay soil and it's possible that the roots feeding that branch have become water logged. I would imagine that, due to the growth you've seen since transplanting, that the root mass has also grown hugely and possibly beyond what you prepared. If it was a salt build up I would expect more of the plant to be affected.

If I were you, as a precautionary and possibly remedial measure, I would pound some piping into the ground close to the affected area to create drainage holes that go deeper than what you prepared (and remove the pipes afterwards). Obviously, this will cause minor damage to the roots, but it should not be too severe.

Damn mate, doesn't look good.. nothing rolled up in there, some pests making a home? Let's not talk of root rot yet..
Good idea on the drainage hole if your in clay, I wasn't aware..

only bugs I've seen about are slater beetles.

I seen the same branch do this once when it was in the pot but was fine the next day so not sure if same problem if so I could rule out the clay?

I sort of though the roots wouldn't be able to penetrate the clay too much it's that hard.

I'll give the drainage hole idea a go I'll punch rio rod down there
I might foliar the affected branch see if it perks up or not.
