That's the best part about all grows after the first, you should already have most of what you need. My first 'on the cheap' grow probably cost me close to $1000 after all was said and done, this one is next to nothing.
I'm not going to top this time, I fim'd all the girls at least once last time. LST'ing already gives you so many freaking colas you can barely count them. Topping just gives you a few more you need to tie out of the way, and frankly I felt like I had too many to try and deal with last time. Of course that was a 2 month veg.
I hear ya Blue, I just did some more tying in the garden (pics to follow), and I can only imagine what it's like on a large scale! But it seems like everytime I tie a branch, I open up light and space for 2 more. It's like christmas morning over and over again!
just picked up a new light and 20 feminized seeds and that set me back almost 600$ another 50-60$ for soil and containers
THE COST OF SMOKING THE FINEST EXOTIC WHILE THE REST OF THE TOWN IS IN A DROUGHT....PRICELESS
Dain, couldn't have said it better myself! Oh and I did see that new amp/ballast you just got. Probably adds a little flash to your grow space!
Now it's time for the good stuff. I was gona wait a couple days for more pics, but what the hell. Couldn't help myself. I tied the ladies again today, allowing for yet even more light penetration. I want some bushy ladies, so this is whats gota be done! Check it out!
Here is MB1. Tightened her leash a little today to get that nice horizontal stem action.
Next up is MB2. Tied some branches down to try and promote some more bush-like features!
And finally MB3. Also tied up like a hostage. But don't let her fool ya, she enjoys it!
And a quick group photo. You can easily see here how little vertical space I am using.
So they all seem to have taken well to their feeding last night. Well, after 24 hours there are no signs of nute burn, but I will be keeping an eye on that.
Now, today I was thinking about the origin of my seeds. They came about as an accidental simple cross in a grow that was supposed to yield all sinsemilla. From that, I know one thing that is certain. I got just over 30 seeds from the batch, and I will probably have just as many phenotypes. This is exciting to me because I will be getting slightly different types of bud with every seed I pop. Luckily, both plants were solid genetics. So this grow is almost a breeding experiment as well. Can't wait to see what I get!!
Keep it tuned in people! More to come, guaranteed!!
