SmokerJoe's Indoor Organic Soil Bagseed Grow

They look even worse with the led light off. Lights go out in 3 hours so if I cant do anything by then I will let them go overnight and see if they are better tomorrow after the fresh water. I can tell I flushed out a lot of nutes by the pools of water/nutes on the tarp.

Oh yeah the first thing I do is check this chart out but it doesnt look like what I got going on at all. but thank you :)

that is fertilizer lockout due to fertilizer burn. I suggest flushing with lemon water.

"If a cannabis plant is affected by a calcium deficiency for too long, it may begin to show the following symptoms due to the lack of calcium.

Stems become weak or flimsy and may crack easily
Stems become hollow or show inner signs of decay
Plant does not stand up well to heat
Flowers/buds do not develop fully, or development is slow
Roots appear weak or under-developed
In severe calcium deficiencies, parts of roots may even die off or turn brown
Roots are more susceptible to root problems like slimy root rot

Cannabis tends to like high levels of calcium, so it is unusual to feed too much calcium when using normal amounts of nutrients and/or regular soil. There are not many known cases of cannabis calcium toxicity (too much calcium), however too much calcium can cause the plant to lock out other nutrients, so it's important not to go overboard.."

This is usually paired with a magnesium deficiency, Which it looks you have that as well.

Best bet is to just add your nutes to your water like how you would normally ( include your weekly nutes) and let the PH stay where it is. Its bad to try and change the PH with PH down or up because everything you add to your water changes the PH and the can change how much of the PH down or up you need to add, so I've even seen in my 1 gal jug after adding nutes I added a drop of PH down and I mean a drop only and my PH was down at 4.3 lol

So to the people who are not sure what the PH is I wouldn't try and frig with it

Its this fucking ph meter. It keeps giving inconsistent reports like wildly inconsistent. It will go from 11.3 down to 8.7 after i reinsert into just tap water with nothing added whatsoever. Then when i add lemon juice just a bit it goes down by like .2 so i add about the same amount and it goes to 3.2 so i clean it off and put it back in and it says 6.4 So I take it back out add nothing more to recheck it and it says 3.0 or worse.

don't worry about the ph. get some tap water, cut up some lemon, and flush the plants. they will thank you for it.

Alright I will try that with lemon then. Fucking ph meter im pretty pissed.

Ok so I gave them water and lemon to flush it my grow room is like a swamp now hope that little tarp holds up damn it seems some water is leaking through but not enough to where it will fuck up the carpet before it dries. It is the plants normal sleep time about 5 minutes before i flushed again so I just unplugged the timer and going to let them stay up tonight so I can monitor them. Its not like they were in flower for 6 weeks yet or anything so 1 24 hour cycle shouldnt hurt them since they werent even used to 12/12 yet. I can barely contain my anger since ive brought this meter to them 2 times personally and my gf brought it once. I shouldn't have to re calibrate this meter every single time I turn it off and on later should I? I put it in the 7.0 solution and it read 8.34 I calibrated it turned it off then turned it on and it said 7.45 So i did it againt then put it in the water without turning it off and it didnt change even .1

b.real my tap water is 11 right now. I know that from when the meter was working 4 days ago.

It may sound backwards but before I ever got a ph meter or any nutes at all I didnt have a single problem. Now that I have a journal here and so went for the ph meter and now im having these issues. Hope everything works out though.

Shits stressing me out. What a great time for me to try and quit smoking huh

Well im drying them now. They werent overwatered until I flushed them. Hopefully they will be fine. Im gonna go to sleep so I can bring this damn meter back.

No that sounds about right lol, Faulty equipment is the cause of a lot of failures across the board. However I've never lost a pot plant, its a literal WEED that don't wanna stop for nothing lol. I've found they can pretty much survive anything ( within reason ) but its your end product that will suffer.

Goes back to the old timers who have been growing for years, they will tell you they don't use meters anymore because they know whats going in and some just pay attention to what the plant needs just based on looks.

Don't know how I would feel about buying another PH meter if I was you going through this but, the ol saying "you get what you pay for" but yours could just be a lemon

Its the baking soda that has killed the plant/s So what could I use for ph up and down then besides forking over tons more cash for products I could easily buy at the store with the same results?
