Fed Lucy today 15ml Vita blue and gave her a llight trimming too.
She s taking energy from the lower leaves which is good sign, so I removed a few yellow ones of them. Also took about 2 fans but now the branches below are into a better position and I hope to see a gain in their height in the next week or so.
I do think that she will be a decent plant given the opportuntity so I want to try to give her a good crack after the break. GO LUCY GO LOl.. And due to how much this C99xPR fluffs up when ya make a mix - Ill still prob have over half a pound left come harvest I hope Then I can add this to it and can have some cured buds for a while so thatll be sweet.

Smokem: quick question and forgive me cause I know I have read this in your previous journal. Should I bend (LST) the whole main down? She will be transplanted next week too a much bigger pot. FFOF and a 3 gallon maybe bigger. I would like to have her in a final massive pot within 30 days. So to get a good veg in a large pot i will have to veg for an additional 30 days? Thanks man!

I thought at first look the plant was topped? Have you trimmed it a bit or sumthin?
Anyways, back to your question - yes mate, what I do, is drill a hole in the top of the pots lip, and then I use rubber coated gardening wire to attach a hook shape at one end of the wire, and then I put just enough tension on it to put a slight 20-30* angle, just to get it started, and then over the coming days slowly pull the wire and cola down bit by bit over the next week or so. Around this time youll probably see the plant has made a branch on the opposite direction as the main cola is being pulled, this will become another main cola and will gain size.
After a week or so and that other branch is gaining height, do the same to it, drill a hole again, and pull that across a bit too.
This will make the plant respond by creating more of these main cola's, from then its only basic tethering to the other branches when they gain height.
In the first pic, see how the 2 bottom branches are both arranged, forming the ' \_/ ' shape? Well, Id pull the main cola towards the front, so not to the left or right like the branches, you want it either coming towards you or the other side.. So then, this cola as its being pulled between the 2 lower branches, the plant will slowly position itself better over the coming days, twisting itself into where it needs to go. IM SORRY I CANT EXPLAIN THIS IF I COULD DRAW A PIC I COULD SHOW YOU WHAT I MEAN..

Smokem thanks so much. I just copied your post to a file!! Makes complete sense to me. I did top her once..I know..I could not resist. its so cool to do! No more topping though. She is a royal critical clone. Had to remove a few fan leaves. I am going to avoid defoliation so much as well. Only when its needed. This is the girl that I like for my single plant grow.

I wont be able to transplant her for a week so I'm gonna start the LST now. I'm sure she will hold fine when I move her into a new pot. She is getting 12 hours under the 600 watt HPS and an additional 6 hours under a 250 true watt CFL when her mama and aunties go to bed. Cant wait to have her all alone in the tent!! That's creepy! Thanks again man.

Ahh Hang on Springa...
So you have topped her?? Honestly mate - I probably wouldnt attempt to do this LST method with a topped plant. In my grows its one way - or the other.. And topping will produce similar growth as LSt, tho not as many colas but the plant is capable of growing very well.. My mate has a topped plant - and if he LST d it it d be a mess IMO, here some pics of it:

Ive since given him my HPS for finishing up, but see how this formed, that was from one topping I think and maybe topping a bigger lower branch too i think he did.
But as usually topping creates a pair, or more if you FIM or are lucky, of cola's. And subsequently keeps the plant a little smaller - As youve topped now at that height the plant will remain a solid short thick stem for a bit, then will send its branches out and up - So you may just get around the same growth since you ve topped now.
JUST MY OPINION - YOU CAN TRY TO DO IT BUDDY But Id hate for you to have a bad experience with it. Maybe try an untopped one for LST? Either way - GOODLUCK MY FRIEND!! Smokemup

Thanks pal... Well, I tried but I have trouble relating somethings Im saying and it takes me a minute to work shit out sometimes or I get lost in what im writing and babble on for ages about some random topic.
But I suggested to Springa since he s topped, not to try MY LST ways as Id hate for his plant to not grow sufficiently, topping should give a similar grow and will give him some nice branches for budding

dang, you got the madness happening up in hur!... loving your new journal mate- looking healthy as can be i got some cindys i crossed with my big bud x super skunk#1 from a coupla grows ago... thinking of using em up soon! your latest NOTM specimen has inspired me to get em pumping.
brother, when that shit 'carbon tax' kicks in then we'll be paying for air.. or more, exhaling carbon into the air!! frekin arseholes. the shithead kiwi government tried to charge farmers here "fart tax" for the cows flatulence! can you frekin believe that??! hahahaha this was a while back tho, had farmers driving their tractors n shit up onto parliament buildings n all.. and too right- charging farmers extra tax because they own cows that fart more than yer average ozzie! ;p
have you tried the ozzie brand of nutes, "bloom" by chance smokemup?? i was thinking of giving it a whirl, quite expensive but the dilution is like 1/5th of the flairform range im using now.. so it seems good value and a really comprehensive range.
anyhoo good man, looking forward to seeing this journal through to the end and im glad i realized you had this current journal sooner rather than later! gawd- talk about slow to the mark ;p

You can probably do it with out any drama, I was just saying that I usuallly go with one or the other , not to say they cant be combined for great success!! Id actually like to see what it turns out like after a topping? She could be crazy az!! from your pic, it looks like youd be fine to do it, theres not that much growth up there yet, So give it a go mate - Shit if she makes a few tops at once youll be laughing!!
Tying her down a bit wont affect her so if you want to leave it un done then cool, but you CAN LST it too mate - I just havent so I DO NOT KNOW 100% HOW THEYLL RESPOND. Thats all, not saying they wont evolve into a topped LStd monster

Not sure about it producing anything in the stems?? It does divide the veins and such but as far as any other benefit than positioning, I cant say.. But you re doing some nice s/croppin Miwa! Them girls lookin good
I cant bring myself to do it.. Poor little green plant didnt do nothing wrong And you break her arms - and expect buds?? Its like throwing a saucepan at a woman and expecting a steak and veggies

Long time no chit chat!! Thanks for your comments mate and the kind words about my NOTM with C99xPR, These buds from the previous grow were just awsum bro::

Unfortunately some prick stole most of her buds But they left the 4 - 2ft cola's?? What idiots... They might of well taken em all on me, I had 6.5oz dry from them 4 cola's, and that plant had some growth on it mate!
But yeah Carbon tax sucks ass - I hate governments and such.. ALL OF EM.. Yeah we gotta pay for everythin and yeah there will prob be an " Exhaust Emissions Tax for people who breathe out carbon dioxide ".. Dont doubt it!! lol
And yes indeed I have heard of BLOOM and have one of their products close by actuallY Not bad I thought, had a high N ratio but other than that the one I use has other minerals etc in it. But now Im using my BPN gear and Seasol - its an Aussie Seaweed extract= AWSUM!! Plants love it too IMO.

Hello, Welcome by my journal guys, Thanks for taking the time to stop in!
Lucy has been growing well, and is now at just over 2.5ft, tho the original cola is just on 2ft. Somewhat shorter still but she is growing and producing again so thats good. There s now quite a few nodes and leaves coming from her new growth.
Nothing has changed in her feed, still VB and Seaweed extract. She was fed today @20ml VB p/10L water and 10ml Seaweed.
The weather has been a bit cooler last 48hrs but only few dgrees lower than norm. But it takes a little for her to warm up some days
Ive positioned some of her main branches close to their final spots and have also removed a few fan leaves that were yellowing on the inside and some that were blocking shoots as the branches bent into shape.
I was thinking around maybe 1 more week until she will be near 3ft - the lower cola I hope to be about 2.5, I will flip Lucy about 3-3.5ft, So she probably isnt that far away - She still has some large fans on her and Ive tried to be selective about my trimming. Leaving a few inner branches for later, theres a big mess tangle of inner small shoots, Ill remove most of them I think, or close to it..
OK, well here s a few snaps of my little girl that could Lucy:::

And lastly the cola itself.. As you can see it has started to do as it should I just hope the branch shoots it puts out will be capable of growing into some larger branches - Even if a few dont get there, but most do, Ill be happy.
So after the next week or so Ill compare the heights and see where we re at in regards to flowering.. Its been just on 8 weeks so far, for some, this is too long, But Im waiting the extra 1 or 2 weeks.
Also since this original cola isnt growing quite as well as the other branches - I hope in the coming week(s) it will manage to gain some size, so again as I said its a waiting and guessing game to see how the rest of this will finish up.

Well thats not exactly true Jimmy.. It does have some trichs but the camera sucks and I didnt take up close pics, I did notice a fair few of them starting to occur at the time of them pics.
I was first to see it,, So I trimmed her up a bit, gave him some BPN bloom booster and my HPS. He wants me to come have a look as he says its gained alot of size and he thinks is nearly ready. I think itll still have least 1 week or 2. But I need my light back for Lucy soon!!
Its some mad ganja tho - the smell is so potent - like mint but with a hint of skunk? Its possible Indica or something but he topped it and shit and I have helped him since flower. Im actually keen to see the plant myself!! Ill snap sum pics and load em up for ya.. Sh e wasnt bad tho couple weeks ago - She had started to finish up as the outdoor light it got was minimal.

He better chuk me a big nug I rekn!!!!
