she looks good to me..any time i folar feed or spray the leaves ..i always rinse with phed water...just in case...spots could be from a crusin insect..she won't miss the leaves..i would cut them off..that way you'll know if its the plant making them ...

Yeah I know Jimmy,
Im the same as it makes it easier to maintain even light spread over the top canopy. Tho it is catching up bit by bit, even if its slightly lower - I am able to lower the light over that are if needed, so should be right.
But I am fairly certain that it will catch up as since the breakage, it has grown over 1ft in height, and it also has a bit of space for the surrounding branches to grow upto and room for buds
I just have to get her flowering soon, she s over 3ft so I want her flowering now. After I pull my mates plant Ill get my HPS back THANK GOD!!
And then I get to see if Lucy is truly a purple of some kind! She probably wont be, but I am secretly hoping she is Id love it.. Sumthin pretty and different.. But yeah she s not too un even:

Id say she will catch up when I start to flower her - but on the left is the lowest points but they have nothing obstructing over head so I should be able to fit my HPS down lower so the lower branches recieve more light.

Yeah well I sprayed em with just water and tried to get the excess salt off the leaf, but some is still slightly visible on the surface. Doesnt look to be doing anything bad YET??
Good idea on the taking few leaves to see if its a bug.. I do think its coming from the plant tho, the way its developing is making me think this..

HOWDY HOMIES!!

Ok so I am, as usual, starting to stress when I see abnormal things occuring.. I had to give Lucy a trim again today as she is now BIG, much more than I thought - as said its like recently she s had a boom and grown the last 1.5ft in about 2 weeks?
Ive set up some of her branches and while doing so I could see the few spots that needed a leaf removed as branch shoots directly below were obscured nearly totally.. So it was while doing this I did as Miwa suggested, and I took a couple off to loof for bugs etc;
NO bugs, its a problem of either Cal.mag looking or Potassium defic, so ive juust lightly treated for this recently so it may take a few days to get her into good shape. Ive noticed her leaves seem to be a little lighter in color, not sure if thats a N def too??
Her PH is at 6.8 so I do not know what is at hand here.. But heres a few pics, sorry theres only a few small patches on the fingers, but Id rather catch a prob early!!!

Notice the dark near middle of each fan?

Last photo is of one that is dying off down low its one of her first leaves and most around her base are doing the same its just natural yellowing. But it has a few of the dark patches on it too..

Thats what I was leaning towards too bro..
So thats why I watered her with some dissolved Dolomite Cal/mag about 2.5L of it.. When she has her next feed Ill feed her with some higher calcium food just to see if she improves over the coming week.
As I said I am wanting to flower her soon, in next few days latest so yeah - She is looking just like she maybe able to do a pound if Im lucky, pends on how these buds grow? Its an unknown strain again so makes it harder. Id named her the Purple Power Plant due to her unique camouflage- if she yields over 1pound, she ll live up to it
I just wanna grow some purple nugs like some of these great ones in NOTM atm, Im in 3rd atm so thats awsum for me! The pics suck and great entries this month..

Azomite and dolomite lime or eggsshells fix all problems

I was thinking of spreading a layer of Dolomite on the top soil, not very thick, more like a sprinkle of it around the pot.
At least over a few waterings, it will slowly make its way down thru the soil I figure? And hopefully help my girl... Cheers buddy

ok, Thanks for the tip Jimmy!
Im not going overboard with the Cal/mag as I said, just a light sprinkle over the top soil.. And Ill feed her some of my old nutes with calcium in it - hope that she will bounce back.
Went to my mates today to check his girl and see if i could get my HPS back yet.. His plant has really bulked up a bit since the light and the trichs are just turning fully cloudy, pretty much all her leaves are green still and theres fresh white pistils and calyxes being made - So she s having a bloom atm I think, So I told him he can have it for few more days as I want his bush to finish up well for him - She is one stinky girl! Unfortunately she doesnt have any reflective material around her so she s missing out on light or well Hes wasting light anyway, which would help her bulk up better.. Her buds have tinges of purple in them, and the pistils once mature are a dark red not orange, I believe it may be Ruderalis/Sensimilla?? He is an old school outdoor grower and had accumulated some seeds over a year or so, and he was hesitant to grow again as he d stopped and just was unsure about it maybe getting stolen. But after he saw Cindy - And then now has sampled and seen Kiksumass' buds, He was impressed and I inspired him to plant a seed..
Wasnt until few months ago that I saw it and said sumthin - He was a little embarrassed I think, as he d topped it, and it wasnt getting much light, So she was quite small - But a nest of branches..
He d seen mine and he skiddishly said Oh yeah, thats just a seed that sprouted and I just watered it now and then and it stayed alive - But when I had a look and said I think its gunna do ok, and offered some help, he cheered up a bit but said - ahh do it later.. And as she grew she wasnt really getting much light but had good looking branch set up.
So I gave him my 600w HPS and brought it inside, as there wasnt direct lighting on her, she started to show signs of flowering, pistils and calyxes all over!! It is Fall here atm so yeah, outdoors would be nearly finishing up around now..
Since being inside its doubled in bud size and the aroma is great She would be about 3.5ft x 3ft Id estimate with about 12 branches..
This was her when I started her under light:

I trimmed her up removing large fans that were blocking light from getting lower down the branches and now the length of bu down each branch has increased by at least a few inches.. Im trying to help teach him most of what I know, and he is of the opinion, if he can spend 150$ on a lighting setup and in 13 weeks possibly harvest 9+ oz - DO IT!!!
He thought that my grow style was a Hydro at first thats why he was a bit shy to try it - But when I explained the only thing I substitute during the grow is the light - Instead of sun , We use a light - Then he clicked He thought I had this elaborate Hydro, But no - he asked about what you feed with and when I said, I use what you ve got there for your garden! He saod - OH??.. Shit hot, sipped his beer and smiled
So he s on board now, I dont mind helpin him cos he will shout me for my help when he harvests so ALL GOOD!! Lucy will be flowered in nxt couple days for sure, she is where I want her, dont need much more height it may hinder me rather than help.
Im trying to set her up well but Im having some trouble due to the branches rigidity, its like pulling on my Compound bow - Twang!!!! Lol. Not quite but they require a couple at least tether points or they will pull free.
With Lucy, Im aiming for a final height in her pot of between 5.5 - 6.5ft vert. If I can get good growth from most of that say least 4ft of growth, I should produce well enough to get me over 1lb again. Ill be dis appointed now if any of my grows done this way yield me under a pound. A pound should be the base mark for my grows harvest, in maybe 15 weeks, LST'd in Soil. I hope to maybe inspire someone to think that they can easily increase the yield with just a little bit of work. Tho you will need a space of at least 6.5ftx4ft, that allows for a 4.5ft plant with 2ft space for light and fan.. You should be able to pull a pound from this area, Kiksum was just over 4ft tallx4.5ft wide, and I got over 16.5 oz.

In soil, for more immediate results, you could try cheleted calcium and cheleted magnesium or just general organics cal mag or something. The general organics calmag has a pretty low ph, though.

She should end up around 5-6ft maybe? dunno how much shell gain during flower...

It is catching up now anyway Jimmy, So Im not stressed
AND GUESS WHAT?? LUCY IS OFFICIALLY INTO FLOWER INTO FLOWER NOW!!!!! Flower day 1 So im using the MH atm for the next few days til I get my HPS back, I was wondering, wouldnt a Dual spectrum globe be best for flowering?? Just a thought as the sun has both spectrums... So it had me thinking what would be better for flower a single spec or dual..
Thoughts anyone?

For now I am running her under my MH, I have a HPS I could hang vertically but Ill just stick it out for next couple days til my other one comes back.
Lucy has still been showing these symptoms seem to be getting slightly worse or more noticeable, I thought that maybe as she is such a big plant She MAYBE DEFICIENT? So I hit her with 20ml of Vita Blue and Seasol 15ml.. See if this helps her, Im going to give her a light water later on before lights out, plain water..
Hope she grows well from now as theres so many shoots and branches on this girl if she hits over 5.5ft shell be a monster!! I just want to address this slight problem she has, I noticed Funky gnats so more Tomato DE dust went on and I kille a few more that tried crawling out from the watering.. Her PH is still sitting about 6.7-6.8 from this meter, hope its right..
Anyways its all go from here guys - She s on the production end of the game and I am So excited to see if this purple coloring will flow into her buds or not.. Maybe I have a major problem and she s showing me - Mate , Im dying here!!! I hope not :/

if i had the loot i would run dual lamps...400 mh and 600 hps..if it wasn't for the sun ..i would be out of med..i got to grow 50 plants to get an oz..i'm a wild and crazy guy....but i'm focus..

yeah...well with all the mutants...he-shes..and this burial ground i'm growing on..thats just about what it averages out to be...now you take this year for instance..all these plants i got going...besides the three i'm fixing to harvest..i'll have one harvest all those other won't finish till jan...
