Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

I use a little twin two tube cfl for seedlings & clones, I think they're 55w each & that's pretty warm compared to my 96x3. I seem to have it on all the time lol
 
Thanks Doozy, the little spat was fun :) I searched Platinum & couldn't find they had much of a history either. They claim to have years of experience developing the 11 band spectrum & have 3000 happy customers. It's a story I've heard somewhere before lol

I'll pop some pics of phase 2 defol later. I gave the veg girls a baldy last night :)
 
Little veg update I thought I'd share. Last night the girls had their bassman style 2nd defol so I photographed them tonight for you. They look just the same as yesterday as they are still in wtf mode.

Notice how she's bent? Well this is interesting. There is a cfl directly above her head yet she wants the LED glow so that tells me LED are a superior light source than cfl:) Here's a shot to show you where the LED is

I think I may have been a little premature in writing off Kali AK so I'll tell you the story as it may help others in the future:)
The seed was soaked for 48hrs in water, the shell had only slightly opened at this point. I transferred it to moist paper towel in a warm dark place for 48hrs. Upon checking I saw the root still hadn't popped out & was looking a bit brown (more on this later) I did notice the shell was firmly fixed at both ends. This had made the shell swell out as the plant grew inside but it was unable to get out of the opening. I got my knife & with the side of it, gently applied downwards pressure on the join until it popped. I changed the paper towel & water and returned it to the warm dark place. I returned home tonight to find a little white tap root saying hello :)
Right, brown root. I was lazy & used tap water instead of going upstairs to use distilled. Tap water will start going manky after a couple of days which isn't good for seedlings so if you do use it, change it after 2 days or you'll kill your seeds.

My final pic is of some pollen my mate gave me yesterday, it's a bit shit to be honest but I can't complain coz it was free....

Oh I almost forgot, the flower girls were all fed tonight & I decided to see what the free sample of Plant Magic Platinum is like so I cracked it open & fooookk me, it fcuking stinks. They have introduced Platinum to take over the PK13-14 booster I bought months ago. The difference is some micro bits & bobs but the main one is sulphur & that's what reeks. I had a job years ago which involved going down into the drains & this stuff smells just like a black crusty build up you get in Victorian manholes. Or chemical farts for anyone who's never been into the drains:) Anyway what I've done is feed pheno#1 with PK13-14 @ 2ml/L, pheno#2 got just under 4litres of that mix & 2 1/2L of Platinum mixed @ 4ml/L so with run off it's just under half & half, Toxic had the full platinum mix. Lets see what happens over the next couple of weeks if I feed them the same as tonight. Will there be a difference? Is sulphur the magic ingredient? Stay tuned & find out :)

Zombie, it's very poor grade so no, not really :(

budstep, I'm building to a perpetual grow mate so there'll always be new additions :) Pollen is just a grade of hashish that we give that name to in the UK, usually it's very good but not this time :(

Thanks Payton, I've never been this aggressive with defol before but phase 1 was a great success so I'm expecting big things :)

I've never bothered working any flower times out but I thought what the hell, lets dee when these say they should be done. Toxic went into flower on 6th September & claims a 60-65 day flower period so this gives a harvest day of 7th-12th November. The Tangies went into flower on the 8th & they claim 70 days flower so the harvest day would be 17th November. I'm predicting a 2wk underestimation by the breeder so the last week of November is my guestimate :)

yeah yer right , I got a look @ JTR & XJ-13 (didn't save the shots)there was amber for sure about 10%
I now know what I'm lookin' for

I might just take both then soon as I'd like a UP indinca high as those 2 girls are 90% indies & have already flushed for 2 weeks

me I gotta do a log in the g/h so I can note dates right then , short term memory is shot ;-)
