Skunnymonster's Multi-Strain Perpetual LED Grow

Hahaha, budstep  you're going to have to wait until it's finished so it'll probably be Sunday when I post them. In the meantime you can look at my beans. Not them beans you dirty mucker, SEEDS.

As you can see the Hawaiian's have popped a good length out, I love a good length :) The Cotton Candy have popped & the tap root is peeking out so I thought what the hell & stuck them into the root riot plugs anyway. The last picture shows them in their new home. I really could do with buying a new propagator, this one isn't heated & the top is melted from when the bulb holders gave way allowing the bulbs to sit on the top for a good few hours.
That's it for now so stay safe & keep it green :thumb:

Hi KingJohnC, is there any reason behind this? I use it to keep the heat & moisture in & stop the plugs drying out. Is what I'm doing detrimental to the seedlings in any way?

If you are using Rapid Rooter type cubes I would not use any humidity dome when germinating seeds. The Rapid Rooter's already contain the perfect amount of air and water for seed germination. I believe the seeds develop without risks of fungus when germinated without a humidity dome. Seedlings do not require a humidity dome.

I thought I'd give you a quick update, the Hawaiian Skunk Haze seeds that were put into the plugs yesterday have broken the surface & shed their shell, the other two are still popping their roots out no doubt but nothing is above ground. I raised my light a touch this morning to lower the temp as it was 29C which is a bit hot & I've got it down to 25C which I'm happy with. I also thought I'd better show how I diffuse the light for any newbies who are following this thread. I use a page out of a note pad & place it on the lid of my dome, seedlings shouldn't get direct light at this early stage so this is a simple way to allow light into the propagator without frying your babies. :)

Seeing as I had my camera up there & lights are out in my other tent, I took a cheeky couple of shots with the flash

The light grey tubing you can see is the frame I've constructed for my scrog screen, I'm not sure it's going to work on this grow due to the Tangerines being a slow grower compared to the Toxic. I'll set it up on Sunday and play it by ear as to whether it's worth using it. :)

I didn't have much time before lights off tonight due to getting home late, I've got my light on/off at a stupid time so it's my own fault :(
So all I have managed to do is a bit of LST & leaf tucking on the 3 girls, spray with Bio-Wetter & then Evolution & take some pictures.
My seedlings are fully vented so the dome lid is just diffusing light & not aiding humidity as KJC says it's not needed. The 2 reg seeds Hawaiian Skunk Haze are up & doing well, the fem Cotton Candy haven't progressed in any way. I had a peek at the tap root & they are identical to how they looked when I took them from the kitchen roll (paper towel) I'm not sure what will become of these & whether to put them back in the kitchen roll or leave them where they are.

Here's the HSH

Onto my others, I've photographed them before any LST & after, all the pics have got mixed up due to the site so you'll just have to try & figure out what's what :)

Just to give you an idea of how my scrog screen will look, I set it up for you. As you can see it needs another screen to finish it off & everything needs zip ties to hold it in place. I've even treated you to some pics of the legs :)

I'll be doing some major defol & finishing the scrog screen on Sunday so I'll update this thread with some more pictures :)

Thanks LA :) I didn't have a clue so I've just checked back for you. The Flux was germinated somewhere around the middle of May, the other three were germinated & popped up on the 13th of June so we'll say fluxy is a month older, maybe 6 weeks.

I can't make my mind up what to do with the other three, I've been LSTing them to get lots of tops to the top & it's working a treat. If I scrog them it might go a bit Pete Tong with the two Tangerines lagging behind the toxic.
The Tangerine dreams are the strangest plants I've ever grown, they are just a manic mess of a bush with leaves everywhere so probably not ideal for a scrog. I'm leaning towards keeping them all individual & just going daft with LST

This is fluxy on the 3rd of June

No worries brother, it's good for me to know these things about my own plants :) Without this diary I'd be completely clueless :) My memory is so bad I can't even remember what year I got married or divorced, I just remember it was a sunny day I got wed

My only worry with the flux is there are quite a few arms that are really skinny at the ends so I don't know if they'll produce much bud.

Will do buddy, I trust you so I'll trust in the way of the flux.
It's just me being a virgin in fluxology & entering the unknown, I have doubts of whether I will find the g-spot & will she achieve fluxasm. :)

I think all of them look healthy, some bigger than others but they are all very nice. :thumb:

The two Tangerines are the smallest with one ever so slightly bigger. Toxic is an absolute monster and double the size of the other two
.
I saw you mention you were worried about defoliating your girls on another thread so stay tuned here. I'll show you how they love it over the next few days. I'll strip loads off on Sunday & post some pics then I'll update early next week so you can see how they respond :)
