Thank you Granny, yes fluxing does require patience & I'm lucky that it's something I have in abundance. I'm really enjoying trying this technique for the 1st time & I will definitely do more in the future
Flux is looking great. I didn't let mine go vertical before the flip. I figure the stretch will take care of that, and I just didn't want to put anymore time into it. I'm a very patient person, but not as patient as you.
Thanks Payton, patience is the only virtue I'm blessed with I'm planning on 6" of vertical before the flip & I've no idea how long that will be, I'm hoping 3 weeks but fear it'll be more like 6.
Yeah, all that defol and fluxing stunts her for a while. Hopefully you'll get it in 3 weeks though. Once I quit messing with mine it started going fast. I was pulling leaves of everyday, which was probably real bad for her
My instructions from LA are to keep spreading the new growth & either pinch or defol the secondary growth to keep the bud sites tight. I think with 30 heads this should keep me entertained
Haha, great to see you Doozy My love for the other one is wearing thin & it's only the Wizard that keeps me there I love it here, it's my home from home
I've been continuing my search for LED's & I think I've found a cracker, I'll PM you the link to see what you think.
Cheers for the fluxy love brother, it's a labour of love & I'm proud of her
I'll post some pictures either tonight or tomorrow. I meant to do it last night but was too busy.
What I'll tell you though is the flux had a feed of 3ml/L PM grow 1.5ml/L Cal Mag+ & 2ml/L Ancient at ph6.0 One of the Tangerines had a feed too as it was bone dry. I did a little training to the flux & cut the top fan leafs off one of the Tangerines. Toxic has had it's twin tops LST'd as I've decided this isn't going into a scrog. The growth is rocketing away from the 2x Tangerines so I'll just top & LST it into a nice big bush. The 2x Tangerines can go into a scrog as they are growing at a similar rate. All these 3 will get potted up to 5 gal smart pots this weekend too.
I'll be finishing off my flower tent this weekend, I bought a new extension lead to run it & some chain to hang the filter & lights. I need to mount my fans on the wall, pipe & wire everything up then check it for light leaks. I've tidied everything up in my room with the addition of a bookshelf, so all my nutes & stuff is nice & tidy & easy to find I also have a folding table to use which is a really handy addition
I think that's everything so take it easy & keep it green
You want photo's ? You got photo's There's enough here to rival a KingJohnC post lol
Right, what have I done? I've re-potted the three girls into 5 gal smart pots & fed 3ml/L PM grow, 2ml/L Voodoo Juice, 2ml/L Ancient Earth 2ml/L Cal Mag+ ready for their new home which believe it or not is now ready for them.
I fixed up the beast of a carbon filter & strengthened the roof bars as a precaution. The corner joint is taking the bulk of the weight & as it's an all metal construction it probably didn't need strengthening but better safe than sorry is a good motto to live by.
The fan bracket has been fixed to the wall & all 8" ducting secured. The outlet exhausts into the spare room's roof.
The inlet fan sits snugly inside the rear left roof ducting hole & draws air from outside the spare room. I've swapped this to the left of the door, the photo shows it to the right This fresh air is sucked through the fan & is blown down a sealed length of 6" ducting. I slit some holes & spaced them out along the end section where the plants are. I've used duck tape to direct the airflow where I want it. An 8" fan blows air down from the other side.
I'm pleased to say I don't need to buy a fan speed controller Once everything was in place & all wired up, plugged in & turned on I zipped the door & I've got plenty of negative pressure, the walls get sucked right in I've tried to show it on a picture but it's hard to see it.
The Mars II 400w full spectrum has been fixed via a chain & clip, I can adjust the height by clipping into a different link The tent came with 2 types of roof bars so I've crossed them & fixed the light chain around both bars so all four sides of the roof take the weight of the light.
I then got my plastic tubs set them in upside down & laid planks on the top & introduced the girls. My raised tub benches are at different heights as you can see in the pics, there's no reason for this other than I didn't have 4 the same size. As it is it's worked out well as I've got a nice canopy
They then had a new shoot spread & tuck finishing with a foliar spray of 2.5ml/0.5L Grandma Enggys F1.
So that's enough waffle, I think I've covered everything so here's my many, many pictures
I'm loving my new set up mate, the clean & tidiness & brilliant. I've spent 10 years with everything piled up in crates & now I can see everything I've got lol I've got a little fold out table I use to mix my nutes & re-pot on so I've got it all sussed mate & I'm buzzing
I forgot to add that I popped some free seeds off Herbies into some water, two Hawaiian Skunk Haze (reg) and two Delicious- Cotton Candy (fem) I'll check them for roots tomorrow & then stick them in a sealed container on my sky box for 2 days.
