Silverfox’s Organic GG#4, MK Ultra x Blue Dream: Now Flowering Under Budget LED

Hahaha any kitchen scale will work. If your wanting more precise, find the 0.01 decimal scales. Also try find one with a large quantity aloud before over load. The more precise ones can be picked up at any cigar shop or pipe store. Or Walmart works just fine as well :thumb:

Some more pics just got fun. That gg#4 is going to take the lead soon. What an amazing plant.

These are an example of what happens if you do it wrong at the beginning. That poor mku x bd.

poor lighting and my ph pen being off a bit in the early part of its life really stunted it. But to be honest its my baby. I’ll love this plant so hard:morenutes:

Just an update. No major issues other than I’m thinking of leaving my family to run off with this gg #4 .

I’ve bumped up the cal mag a bit on the mku x bd. It’s got brighter new growth. I know this happens during rapid growth which is happening due to LST but I’d just like to be safe. Training is getting tough to bend the main stalk. I’m going to top it at some point but hoped I could get it a little more centered before cutting it.

I’ll stop rambling. Here’s some pics

Thanks @Silverfox125 for the response on the discount code. I honestly missed this message

Happens to me all the time. I’ve got in the habit of just checking my subscribed threads. I have serious FOMO

I’m still not loving the way this mku x bd looks. I’ll try to get pics up soon. I’ve got rust spots on the edges of some older leaves and small tears in some leaves.

it has extremely tight node spacing and I’m thinking maybe it wasn’t a good mix with the garden staples.

it almost looks like it could be ph related but the gg#4 has been in same soil getting same water so I’m stumped. Thinking of flushing and seeing what my RO ph looks like

@Backlipslide

Just checked RO ph. It’s 6.5 ....

So I completely over reacted and got rid of all the garden staples. Topped the plant and will just see how it plays out

The garden staples shouldn’t of caused that. At least I wouldn’t think anyways.

the plant definitely doesn’t look happy. I’m so sorry for the experience of your mku x bd plant.

yes I would agree, doing a flush, as soon as you humanly could.

is that the plant you were training sideways?

the holes could be, either wind burn.. was she getting ravished by a fan recently?
Or it could be, critters chomping down on your leaves. ..

so after your flush, following a light feeding of what ever your extra supplement is your feeding. (If I remember correctly, your in a super soil?) which would be a different story here..

so after all that, take a good look at your underside of leaves looking for anything that could be any signs of a critter.
:nervous-guy:
poor gal!

Well get it. I’ve never seen this happen before. I figured out was stress as It pulled the leaves at the garden staples but I’ve used them in the past with no issues.

I’ll update tonight.

So I finally got a second to do some research. Others that have this problem it usually comes down to one of two things

1: fungi , the chance of this is super low due to my low humidity at the moment it’s hard to keep it above 35

2: happened after transplant into organic soil. This seems far more likely. Suggestions are to flush and monitor run off ph regularly

I’m thinking I’ll try to transplant them both again soon and hope that clears up the issue. Maybe in a week

So after the flush it does seem more vigorous. A couple lower heads shot to to take the lead and they look the healthiest of the plant. I’m not out of the woods but I think we will be ok.

it’s just so crazy to me both these are on the same schedule and one looks gorgeous and the other .....

But I learned years ago not to judge the plant but the product.

I’m confident we will get it to flower happy. I have the luxury of waiting as long as I need to get it healthy before throwing it into flower tent.
