Silly Rabbit Brix Are For Kits! Sponsored Grow With A Perfect Sun Max Yield

I've seen pre fab homes that are really nice! Granite countertops, large bathrooms spacious living enough to make ya drool. Congrats on the new home brochacho!

Thanks Killer! I'll look at some on Monday and get pricing, availability, etc.

That is awesome news. Congrats bud! :high-five: Are you going to have a basement poured or is it going to be on a slab? There are some really nice modulars now but as others have stated do the research. A lot of them are barely nicer than a trailer. The cost of them can be fairly high as well. I know that some banks do not like to finance them as well and will charge crazy interest rates due to them not being "stick built". If I were to go through the trouble of building a new place, and I was going to set it up on a basement instead of a slab, then I would build rooms into the basement. Unless you want them on the same level you are going to live in. Then I would have a 3 to 4 bedroom made and then build rooms in the basement for any guests or others that may live with you lol.

Thanks Yeti! I talked to someone who said pre tab pricing for a ranch house are higher than stick so if thats true, I may just have it built on site. Planning on a poured foundation so will work a couple "workshops" into the plans if it doesn't cost too much but my little cabin is 12x20 so would be more than enough room, it's insulated and there is a propane heater but there are 2 sliding glass doors and 4 windows. Lots to consider!

Update.

The girls started flowering and are looking good. The 2 big ones got recharge/ewc a few days ago. The little crinkle puss looks ok.

I was away for a few days and a couple of my bcp clones were droopy but will bounce right back after their trans drench. I topped my 2 seedlings a few days ago and they took it well.

:theband:

So how'd ya think the droopy BCP is doing after TD....? You guessed it, awesome!

My Slurry is doing the best she has since I topped her a few days ago. She's getting her shine on.

Mrs. Magoo has a suspicious white residue I'm hoping is not pm. It's just a little and no other plants in the tent have it. What to do? Keep an eye n it and if it gets worse, get a sulfur burner?

Exciting stuff happening for me and the boss, we're building a new home!

I am strongly considering getting a manufactured home mostly for the ease and how quick it could be done. Anyone have experience with manufactured homes? Reccomend or stay away?

This good news means a few things for the GR. It's gonna be a much better situation, no more garage! I'll be able to run all my tents, even consider a new 4x8 or build rooms....?

The bad is I might need to shut my current grow down. Depends on timing. I should be able to finish my recentlt flipped girls and have some ideas about the others but will probably have to chop them.

Have a Rockin weekend!

Congrat's, Brother! :high-five:

Let's see, you need one room for vegging, another one for flowering, you can probably get the drying done in a large closet, and need a basement sink for the bud washing, large yard for the greenhouse, & lots of storage space for the cured buds. It would be nice to have a small room for our Seed-A-Holic Anonymous meetings, too, but that's not a real requirement!

OK...now onto planning the rest of the house!

Thanks Krip! Maybe I should plan on a small room for a seed vault!? I don't need all that much produce so those plans are a little over board. Didn't think of the sink so thanks for that, it'll be helpful for sure!

If that "residue" wipes off in your fingers, it's probably PM. If it's white spots in the leaves, it's likely pests. :goodluck:

I don't want either but which one would be worse, pests right? Should I clip the leave or leaves in hopes that it doesn't spread?

The seed vault should be behind the secret bookshelf! ;)

I'd take PM over pests any day! Just make sure you're actually treating PM.

Assuming it is PM, you've got some easy organic choices:

1) MILK actually works against PM. Something about the bacterial cultures in the milk take over. Mix 1 part milk to 2-3 parts water and spray good including undersides of leaves.

2) BAKING SODA also works against PM. It can't thrive in the low acidic environment. Mix 1 TBSP per gallon and add a few drops of dish soap as a surfactant.

I'd also trim anything you can do without and do what you can to increase circulation/ventilation & keep humidity in check. If the spores can't land on the plants, they can't infect them. :ganjamon:

:goodluck:

EDIT: In addition, just about any organic (OMRI certified) fungicide should work against PM!

No bugs! :yahoo:

I took the plant out of the tent, carefully removed the 1 leaf with noticeable white residue, checked for bugs then rubbed the residue which came off. So possible pm but I'm gonna wait to see if it returns before I do anything. It could just be some kind of dust. Who knows, fingers crossed.

Ween, I jumped 19 pages yo so I may miss some info, but how hot is that light making your tent? My silly smallies are doing the job, but more par is king eh.

Hey Gaffle! Thanks for dropping in! I am not really sure how much heat the light adds but not too much. It did hit 90 the other day but that is rare. There have been some temp swings here lately and I use the dehuey exhaust to add heat to the tents and an under rug heater under the flower tent to keep temps up so both of those things added to the 90. It usually maxes in the mid 80's and sometimes doesn't break mid 70's. I'm in a poorly insulated garage so the outside temps play a big role. That'll soon be a thing of the past past when I build my new home!

Nice nice, adding a bunch of heat externally eh. I connected my small veg tent to my flower tent and switched times. No heater for me this year. I'm all about moving in the spring and getting me a pole barn. I'm looking forward to tackle an outdoor environment. I'll have a journal up later today as a matter of fact.

Awesome! I actually had that idea about connecting the tents before I started using the under rug heater but opted not to do it because of warnings of lights on times needing to be the same or plants will get stressed. Assuming once your bloom gals are done and you move the veg girls to bloom that the times flip flop so the on time never changes for your girls, correct? Let us know when you start the new journal.

I'm not really sure about changing start time. Mine will be off sync, experiments abound! My new journal is up. I've been gone awhile, sorry for worthless plug!

No worries about the plug, I stopped over and pulled up a chair. Lights on times need to remain the same from veg to flower, or at least within a few minutes, or you will get funky plants from light stress.

Congrats on the House Ween! Did u get a chance to research any?

Thanks Magoo! I looked at some yesterday and was pretty impressed. My favorite model on the lot was on sale as is for significantly less that others that would be built custom for us. Learned the difference between manufactured (mobile home built to HUD codes which I will not buy) and modular which is stick built in factory to state codes which is what I will consider. Going to talk with a builder today but their portfolio only has large homes so not sure they'll do my project.
