Shottafire's - Bubba OG Sealed Medical Grow in Sunshine #4

Right on UG!

Just keeping things simple really. I am sure you can achieve the same results if you find the right strain. I was lucky enough to get this cut as a gift from a legitimate source that is known for always holding the best in genetics. I am enjoying her and learning her inside and out. getting in her head is important sometimes. haha

But thank you braddah UrbGrower.

Day 10 Flower

The garden is talking to me right now. The plants are standing up right leaves reaching for the light.
Tonight was one of those magic nights. They were very accepting of there first full flower dose of nutrients.

Blueberry is in the room now for the past couple days should start to see some action out of her real soon.

Thanks JBC420. I am not sure what it is that made these pistils all curl up and turn. It is only on a couple of the tops. my only thought is i touched it and it was slightly damaged or something. I dont think it is from the feed but I could be wrong! Other than that everything looks perfect.

I will be over to check you out soon JBC. keep em green buddy;)
All I can say is daymmn man those look great.
+reps for the great setup and flowers.

Thanks wildbill. Glad you could make it for the flower party.

thanks for the reps as well. much appreciated. You got a journal going?

Looks like I got here just in time. :thumb:

Right in time buddy. Glad to have you aboard for the show these girls are about to put on.
I will update a little later this evening with pics.

Starting to get a little smelly in there.

Alright can someone tell me what you think the yellowing is in this picture?
DSCN14354.JPG

I am thinking it is the light being a little close. Only on the middle three parallel the bulb!

I am not too worried about it. Just dont want these girls to be hungry for something and them not get it.
Here are a few more pictures form the 12th day flower. starting to get some frost up in there.

Yes!
Was looking forward to this. Coming along really nicely Shotta!
The yellowing looks to be a little light bleaching, but wouldn't worry too much about it.
The buds don't seem to mind much! maybe back off the light a few inches.
If it persists, they could possibly be needing a bit more N.
One more thing to possibly consider and to keep an eye on. Is if you're noticing little fly's around your medium, there is a chance that there is larvae in the roots. I don't want to scare you, just putting things out there to watch for.

Yeah there is a few flies cruising around. I got the yellow cards placed around the bases of the plants but there is not a shit ton of them.

I have gognats and not sure if you could use that as a drench. I know you can spray it as a preventative. I would try and use a systemic organic approach just not sure what to use. To me they dont seem to be a problem so I am going to wait. Now if you think I could use something to take care of the larvae that is safe for the plants please let me know.

Appreciate it vick!

I don't see.the yellow so I can't comment lol. Everything looks great from where I sit man!

Thanks canna! Im not too worried and if I was it wouldnt help the plants any so I will just cruise it.

Mosquito dunks in your watering res.
Xlr8 got me onto them a while ago, and they really do work by killing the larvae. Combined with sticky traps to catch the remaining parents.
I just put one or 2 in a sock, tie it off, cut the excess and let it float around in my res water until mixing.
Totally safe organic pesticide.

here's the blurb on them:

"Made with Bt-israelensis (Bt-i), a highly specific biological pesticide, this product represent a major breakthrough for people and the environment when compared with the traditional toxic chemical approach to mosquito control. Will NOT harm people, pets, wildlife or fish.

I have and still do clone. I have topped but with the strain I am running now if I top it it will get to bushy for my space. So I just remove fan leaves as it grows and let light to the lower branches. I will come check it out.

Thanks for checking out the garden luvsmokin.

Upon further inspection I do have some little larvae in my pots. Now these things can be the cause of the yellowing and leaf drop right?

I want to know if these mosquito dunks will affect the plants in any negative way? Or will they only help? I am not freaked out but want to know what you guys would do. I will try and get a picture of one of the flies and post it for you guys. when I watered I noticed little ashy looking things in the pots and saw them wiggling around. The plants still look good just a little more yellowing than I want in the middle.

I fed them tonight with a little grow and bloom nutrients. Also top dressed with some rainbow mix bloom on all the plants. trace amounts

Here are some pictures from tonight Day 13 Flower

Gonna watch a movie now with wifey. I will be back tomorrow to see if anyone can help a brother out.
I am not helpless I will research myself too. But would love to hear from some of the pros here.

Yep, if you got the little wigglies in your runoff then they are in your medium and most likely the cause of your yellowing.
If they're old enough, they're munching on the roots making it hard for the plant to uptake proper nutrients.
You don't have to worry about the mosquito dunks being harmful. They are completely safe to humans, plants, pets..
Buds seem to still be making progress, but if you don't take control of that Gnat sitch, growth will stunt, setting you back a week or so..
I don't know if a lot of people use this stuff or not, but it was recommended to me by a few people for Fungus Gnats.
It's called Sevin by *ilson.
I had a really bad Fungus Gnat hit a few weeks ago. Just like you, but had thousands of live larvae in my runoff.
Sprinkled a bit of this over the top of my medium, flushed it through thoroughly. all Flies and Larvae were GONE.
Not even one lone scraggler hovering about. And haven't seen em since.
But that stuff isn't the most organic of pesticides..

I wish I could wheel my dealio's around in a big open room. Castors are awesome.
Amazing garden., would love one like that one day. :)

I am looking for something more on the organic side. I have some gognats which I might try. Mosquito dunks look like they could be the ticket. I will address this tomorrow or the next day. Going to do my homework before I purchase something for the problem.

The girls are not really slowing down as of yet. But I do notice some leaf drop in the lower canopy.

Crazy how nice the casters are! I can even trim in there now if I push the trays to one side. The garden is in order just need to check these little bastards.

Thanks for the info and feedback vick always appreciated!
