Shottafire's - Bubba OG Sealed Medical Grow in Sunshine #4

Yeah Let me take a look. I might wait and take a better one of her tonight. She is doing good but definitely not something to fit my setup.

I got three cuts of dj short gear after a 8 hour seminar on breeding he held. Was one of the most informative and coolest people to meet, and I left knowing that I had real deal cuts from the mans stock himself.

Out of the three cuts I got which were blueberry, grape krush, flo. I seem to like grape krush best so far but they are only at two to three weeks in and things can change quick. Dj said himself that flo is one of the most beautiful plants he has ever grown. High hopes.

Thanks for stopping in Buckshot and thanks for the reps as well.

That is cool news! Our Lady of Cannabis delivered 4 abused cuts of flo to me today! :cheesygrinsmiley: They are only 3" but are frosting and flowering due to short hours in a window :yikes:. I have put them in bigger pots and 18/6 and we shall see what happens, I hope I do it justice and get some killer pics... Thank you

Good news for you! Flo re-vegges probably the best of any strain. It's known for multiple harvests the same season, 3 months in a row.

Alright heres the dj short Flo. I have neglected her pretty bad but still not looking to bad. She's in a 3 gal smart pot.

One thing I was told before i started growing her is to be patient and not to over feed her. picky eater

so I have over fed her once and she definitely reacted negatively. shes is back doing better but it still isnt something I look for in a plant. I hope the medicine keeps me in the flo...

:thankyou:

No problem Buckshot.
I know that yours will be amazing. Do you have any flo going?

edit: I am too baked you obviously have 4 little abused flo cuts flowering at 2-3 inches going back to veg.

Quick update of the girls.

Day 44
Fed them yesterday there last real feeding. They will start to get less and less until about day 56 im feeling with two waterings of ro water before chop leaving me at around 63 days or so. This could always change though.

Have a good night 420 maggers. going to sleep early for once. geez

Tonight is day 49 for the girls they are looking very sticky and I am hoping to get my digital scope up and working having a pain in the ass time trying to get the software to run so I can use the camera on the scope for close ups. My little hanheld one showed me its getting close lots of clear and milk no amber. Flowers are beautiful smell is amazing. This is my best effort yet with this strain and growing for that matter.

The room is ready for harvest and is all cleaned up nice. The next set will be shorter and will get there lower canopy defol on thursday on day 21. Not going to put the second trellis as My timing with it was off. The set after that will be back in order though. Hope harvest isnt effected too much as the plants are definitely smaller but very dense in the canopy we will see.

Anyone with tea knowledge. I used dechlorinated tap water to brew.

per 5 gallons water I used

2 C worm castings
2 TBSP High N bat guano
25 ml molasses
30 ml Liquid karma
1 tsp powdered humic acid
2 tsp azomite
2 tsp soft rock phosphate

Now I dont know if this is as complete as it needs to be for Big veggers. Diluted the tea with 2.5 gallons tea with 2.5 gallons ro water fed some plants in the garden and got noticeable results so I am just seeing what you guys think. My ph of the tea was low like 5.9 but i fed anyways and the plants loved it albeit they were not cannabis plants. is that to low to use on my plants or is the ph in tea normally not checked. Dont want to take a wrong turn and kill the girls right now. everything is green.

Cheers all. be back in tonight with some pics of the beaut's.

Hey Shotta, I looked but I can't find any info about your sealed room's infrastructure, ie AC, CO2, dehumidifier, etc.

Are you using a mini split for this room? portable? What size, make, model?
How are you enriching CO2, burner or tank? How are you controlling it?

My room is currently just venting fresh air to cool, but the temps have started to get a little higher than I like. I am researching air conditioners, and since your room is sealed, I wanted to get your opinion. I much prefer the sealed room, but I couldn't afford everything up front. I planned to seal the room after this harvest, but I may have to push that schedule up a bit. I have a tax refund I can put towards an AC and CO2, so I think I'm gonna be able to seal the room now. I just want to make good decisions about what to purchase.

I'm currently leaning towards the Whynter ARC-14S portable AC, but they also have the ARC-143MX. Both are 14,000 BTU, but the 3M model is designed to filter the air in room you want clean, such as a server room. I'm not sure I should spend an extra $100 to have this in the AC, or just get a separate air filter. Actually, I guess I know the answer to that one.

For CO2, I like the CAP GEN-1e. Eventually I'd like to get the CAP fuzzy controller for it, but for now I'll just do some math and run it from a timer. Luckilly CO2 doesn't have to be exact. As long as I keep it somewhere between 400-1500ppm, I'll be fine. :)

Thanks in advance for sharing how you handle cooling and CO2 enrichment. Your garden always looks so good, so I know you're a good grower to ask. :Namaste:

Addition: sorry but I can't help with the tea as I grow hydro.

I've never adjusted Ph in my teas. Good call on diluting, that MAY have been a touch hot otherwise.
She can handle a punch tho. Sounds like a good (and somewhat familiar ;)) tea brew. Careful with the azomite too much has messed me up in the past.

Thanks for the question and the kind words!

My room is sealed running two air cooled thousands in blockbuster reflectors.

The lights are cooled with a 8" max fan. Veg has a 600 watt with a 4 foot 4 bulb t5. I will cool the 600 soon which should help give my ac a break.

Now depending on how hot it gets in the summer, the size and number of lights you run, and all the equipment will determine how big of a ac you will need.

My ac is a 12,000 btu mini split but let me just say I wish I got the 18,000 btu. I am going to be fighting the heat with this ac this summer. I think there is some btu calculator. I think the rule of thumb is 4500 give or take btu's per 1kw fixture. I love the mini split it cools very efficiently and makes hardly any noise and zero odor outside as well. Very stealth unless someone comes in the backyard and sees the compressor which no one will since there is no access.

Co2 is enriched via tank through a cap ppm4 which keeps me up above 1000-1500 I believe. Need to get a fuzzy logic. the timer method works well but since using the ppm-4 I had considerable growth and love the simplicity the controller provides me. My tanks used to last two weeks now they last me a week but it means they are getting ample amounts at all times during lights on.

Hope this helps some and could help you out in the future.
