Damn brother... extreme frost on those buds. Absolutely beautiful. Does the HB routine create more work, or lessen the load? How many plants are you running at one time?

Thanks!

The kit grows six plants in 7 gallon or 5 plants in 10 gallons. I have 5 10 gallon potted high Brix and 5 10 gallon chem nute plants. The high Brix plants have been less work than the chem plants. They do have foliars to spray but the foliars and drenches each mix up in 30 seconds. No pH check and no weighing. (I weigh silica for the chem plants and a powdered pk booster. When I go into the grow on a night I planned just to check and end up having to water it's not the high Brix plants that make me groan. And they are so healthy I don't have any other issues with them. I fully recommend Doc's Kit. I am sold on my first grow.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've been toying with the idea of living soil for a while now. It's difficult to change though.

Damn Shigg's! Just damn...again.
You are rockin' it on all cylinders, bro. :adore:
Seeing your plants makes me want to do a happy dance. :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Yo TheBlaze. ...I know exactly how you feel. I went kicking and screaming over to Brix. My soil is cooking now. Everytime I go to Doc Bud or Shiggity or Dr Ziggy or Graytail or Icemud or.....I see more resin production than Chem grows. For once I'm gonna go with the flow and see what happens.

SWICK Watering Systems - Letting the Plant Water Itself

I'll be ready once the soil cooks. About 28 days or so.

Maybe less...when the soil looks like a furry carpet I imagine.

I you want to rush it a bit, I've been successful potting into soil that's only been cooking for 15 days or so ... give it at least 2 weeks - by then the toxic chemical reactions have subsided and the biota will populate the soil right in the pot.

It's not recommended but you can get away with it. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thx GT!!! I'm so anxious to get started I don't know what to do with myself. I'll pop the beans when I hit week 2.
Looking at the number of beans I want to run tells me I may need to get another kit cooking soon so I can add more pots to the tents.

You might want to pop the beans in straight ProMix, though. This soil goes into states where it eats seeds.

Word GT?? Um...ok. last thing I need to do is fry my beans. Patience huh?
