Shiggity Goes Mad Scientist: Paving The Yellowbrix Road With DIY Adventures!

I Like it. Looks like the SIP's might find a way into my grow :)

BTW

just curious is the weight of the Scrog Screen heavy enough to hold down
the growth when hung from the ceiling. I have had some really strong plants push up
my screens enough to push out the press fit joints, but my screens are much smaller :)

Looking Awesome

It won't be heavy enough. My original plan was to put rebar inside the pvc pieces but then an idea struck. I will put eye hooks on the walls of the chamber at the four corners and zip tie my scrog into the chamber at the height I desire.

And an easy simple solution has been found :thumb: MacGyver on my brother

So a few pics of the girls. The two Pineapple Fields are in left SIP. Huck kush and sour bubble in middle back SIP and two Megafauna in the right SIP.

Megafauna just woke up!
So I think megafauna and pineapple
Fields will each get their own scrog and huck kush and sour bubble may just get flowered with no scrog. I will plant two plants in 10 gallon pots for the last two spots in the 4x4 with the huck kush scrog. I need to get together and make some new soil for the next batch of flowering girls.

And one of my fears with the SIPs is being relieved as we speak. I was worrying that there would only be deep water roots and no roots up top in the doc soil. But looking in these pics you can see that roots are even popping out of the soil. They are everywhere. So Shiggity is getting muy excited!! This is right after a GE+ 1/4trans +tea drench. I gave 2 gallons to the top of the SIPs. One gallon at a time.

Roots everywhere, great pic! You can really see them doing their thing.:thumb:
It's so crazy I will take a pic before watering next time. You will see roots poking 1" straight out of the soil!
Those are kicking ass, the SIP's are real deal.

That's great those seedlings are showing this early.

I have the same pink string, works great on a plumb bob.

I am stoked they are showing as well. There was one male that already had about 10 pollen sacks fully formed and ready. I chopped the sacs but I may keep the plant. Anything that wants to flower that hard is very interesting to me!

Hey shiggs! All caught up. Loving it all. Plants look excellent. The sips work great! Ontop of that sue seems to come into my life when i need her most. That bonsai mom link is just what i needed. Trying to keep a veg/mom tent in a 3x3

I tend to take clones off many plants right before they go to flower. Not any specific moms but just make sure I always keep one copy of each plant unflowered, preferably two. I will bonsai them to stay in a 4" pot sometimes. And my method can be as simple as just mowing the lawn in a tub of clones. Becomes a 6" tall plant of a bunch of matchstick stems that shoot off a lot of clones.

Great looking Forrest in there Shiggity. Man I see the 420 survivors have gotten strong. RTK, LA, Dr Cannibus, and I, fell behind power curve. All you guys are next level now. Awesome.

SIPs continue to impress. Hopefully I can get the scrogs in tomorrow. The plants may be too big if I don't. I will give the megafauna and the pineapple fields their own 4x4 scrog each.

Since I don't have enough capital or time to get the chambers gong yet I will just make an 8'x8' out of panda film and put the two scrogs in there. The scrogs will get the Beast light and a new board light I will make with 6 boards at 520W total. The other half of the 4x8 will have 3or 4 CMH or more board lights if I can get the drivers in to build them.

Here is the basic layout with blue heatsinks. I plan on doing 3 boards per rail, two rails per 4x4. Each rail will be 260W. So imagine a 3rd board under the driver. Each rail will be wired in parallel to the driver so will split the 2100ma evenly. So I could use 2 or 3 or even 4 boards per rail, they would just split the amps. So for three boards it would be 700ma each. For 2 boards would be 1050ma.

Looks like your going to need a FLAG on the watering tubes so you can find them in that Jungle :bravo:

Oh man shiggs! That billet blue is gorgeous!! Cant wait to see what those boards can do!
I thought these would be black heatsinks so imagine how happy I was to see the awesome blue!
Man shiggs!!!! Oh man!!!! They grow so fast, 4 days and they doubled in size!! That's amazing!! I want to try that one day for sure!!..
