Shaggie's Return No Mercy CFL

Hi buddy.

Just had quick flick through and I was wondering why u put the babies straight in large containers instead of using small pots to build up good root mass first.

Also I use co2 and prob too much and I wondered why i was gettin brown spots on leaves and some leaves dropping off. it must be down to mg deficiency. Thanks for the insight. Nice growing and great warehouse, if only I were so lucky.....

lol, nice plants!

Hi Cultivator :)

I can answer that one. Less stress. Each time you replant is a stress on the plants, so why take a chance. Put them in their final home early. :high-five:

The only reason I pot up is to try and slow the growth down and keep as small of a footprint as possible.
You guys are frikin making me hungry with all these recipes... I may even have to go hunt down some BBQ!!!!!
Shag man, always a pleasure to stop by and see what you have going on...
:Namaste:

OMM hit it on the head!
because this is a 12/12 no mercy i didnt want any shock from transplanting.
i do everything i can to minimize how many times i have to mess with my roots even at work we only transplant once puting clone directly in to its final home....
Yup MG def will show its ugly little head easyer in a high C02 environment. its not always a heavy def eather it just will show easyer.

to all that offered Recipes i would love to check them out to see if i can make something out of them for market. if not im sure they will be welcome additions to my arsonal of tricks as well as i will adjust them for medical and repost in to the Edibles recipie Post Started by HH green a while back.... i am going to start reviving it

oh and ill get pics of the co2 Generator ... been busy......

thank you OMM and MacG,
i made the box because for the space i have in out appartment it works well.
the top of the box is made to easily remove so i can put a 400w MH/HPS on it when i have a new grow room. it will make a good mom chamber or even a good chamber to grow a new male! than maybe i can finaly get my last cross on my Krunkle.

the hood i made might have been a little over kill lol... i cut aluminum cans to use as reflectors.... also used elasometric roofing paint that has a reflective rate of 93% actualy a hair better than mylar (90%) from what i read. i used it because it is also mildew and mold resistant.
only thing i didnt do is caulk the corners to ensure no light leeks, there are none but i will do it just for good measure when this grow is done.
ive learned that simple is best.. the more you get in to makeing things complicated the more difficult things are to control.....
needs another fan ... it will make it a little easyer to control my temps better.

ill have more pics tonight along with the pics of my co2 generator

Ok here comes the Co2 Generator...
very simple... my mix is:
2 1/2 Cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup regular sugar
1Tsp yeast
1 tsp Baking soda
heat the water, with 1 cup of heated water disolve sugars, in other 1 1/2 cup water mix in yeast and baking soda, mix both together in containment bottle after about 45 min you will have Co2.
to boost the co2 generating in bottle shake it.

to make you need:
Air hose
2 bottles (2 L and any other you might have)
in 2 L drill hole in lid just large enough to squeeze tube through (you want this tight so u dont need sylicone)
in the other lid drill 2 holes, one for the tube going in and one out.
the tube from the lid of the 2 L will go in to the other bottle and in to water in the bottom ( this will catch any liquid that might foam out of the 2 L)
the Co2 will bubble out of water and in to the "out" tube and in to the grow room.

there are countless videos out there to look at... they generaly are talking about fish tanks when building but it works just the same as you can buy a built yeast kit in stores for your fish tank and there is little to no difference to the one i built

here are the pics of mine

dont know if u can see the bubbles or not.

i have my tube running in to the box and comes out right above my plants you can see it in the pics next to my temp probe.

ill have more pics soon

cool!!! thanks!:adore:

NICE JOB Shaggie!!! Can't wait to see how this works for you. Look like you've done your homework. I LIKE IT VERY VERY MUCH!!! :adore::adore::adore:

I'll try plus reps for you (can't remember if I already have :tokin:)!!! +++

:peacetwo:

how much space would that cover/ in 12,12 room/? interesting!!!:adore::adore:

what do u think about / led panels mixed in my closet//2 400 hps is doin awsome// but if i thro a panel in there , i believe that would beter my yield///only cooking 7 plants AT TIMe, know im legal/ my meds are great/but we can ALWAYS IMPROVE/ LEARN / AND HOPEFULLY BETER YIELD/??? THANK YOU ?

Hey shaggie, what does the baking soda do for the mix? How is this used in aquariums? Been brewing a long time and understand the yeast and sugar parts.....

First of all thanks for the rep attempts guys i hope this helps you all..
Deer: yah throw another light in... the more light the better!

as for the reason that i put baking soda in is because just like in baking the soda will help to keep the yeast alive. it gives the yeast something to "attach" to.... i have also heard of useing a burnt peice of toast and puting the yeast on top of it... than floating it in the water.... havent tryed this but im not working a large area... if i was attempting to do a larger room .... such as the mentioned 12 x12 i would probly up to a 5 gal gas drum as my container and go with the bread method...

the difficult thing about doing co2 in this manner is there is little to no way to regulate your ppms..
another note is that plants do not use Co2 during their night time phase

i have tryed to figure out how to stop the co2 production from entering the room till day only but all of the clamps etc that i have found always pop off from the pressure of the gass being produced.

Co2 generators are used in fish tanks when you have live plants in the water.. as all plants need co2 to survive.... fish tanks naturally will have some co2 but if u add an extra suply they really take off! and the fish love it.... they like to sit in the bubbles!:circle-of-love:

hope that helps.... i got lazy last night and didnt get pics so i will get on them tonight all things permitting.
the Ak is still filling in... and the Purp after having a bit of a hiatus is starting to swell again and her trichs are finally starting to get heads that are visible.... i have always found it strange how plants with sativa influences do this....
time to run to the hydro store... my blue lab took a swim :lot-o-toke::oops::rip:
