anyone have pic of a white.w, grow????
Hey Shaggie! Just did a quick read through your jrnl. Awesome grow you have going and a great job to boot! I think I'll jump on board. Look forward to the updates.
Temps in my GR run pretty high on the hot days, 90 deg and up. Max temps in the GR have gotten as high as 88 deg. From what I have read is that the plants utilize CO2 better in the higher temps, and none of my Afgoo have shown any signs of stress. I have an A/C unit that works pretty well but the problem is the GR is in the garage and heat builds up in there. I usually open the back door and place a fan near the exhaust of the A/C, which vents out through the Phresh filter. Seems to help. From what I've seen your girls are loving your space.
Sorry it's taken me so long to get here. Reps to you! Nice grow and journal!
MacG glad to have you along for the ride!
showed my wife what you did and it became another option for when we get our house! but as of now i think it will be a shed in the back yard... mabey a false wall to section it off so kids wont find it....
got the same idea for finishing a basement and having a 10 or so space sectioned off with an entrance through a false wall in closet....
wifes biggest thing is it has to be discrete... there are family members that we dont want knowing that i am a card holder.... as well as when we have kids i want to still be able to grow my meds!
just need the right house.
yah i wish my temps were lower but i already have our room at 65*... and thats about as cold as i will be allowed lol... its keeping it around 88 now.
just a thought on your GR... are you able to run your venting up to the roof of the house and out? maybe join in to venting somewhere? it might help with your temps a little.
TH the room smells great! its in the bedroom to so it puts a smile on my face every time i walk in! im not useing my carbon scrub this time around because with my set up it wouldnt do any good..... not to mention the house always smells of herb. i still have a good 2 OZ of True OG (who i have to say props to Aaron for winning best strain of 2010, glad to see that its not a clone only strain any more!) and that OG stinks the house up no matter what container i put it in!
For any one that gets the chance Snag some of the Reserva Privada OG Kush
seeds they are a fantastically strong medicine with the most beautiful trich production i have ever gotten to see and ive only seen the clones! as soon as i get a chance im getting some of the seeds to hold on to for breeding purposes
i will try to get pics tonight... and will get them up tomorrow? playing cards with my 95 year old grandma tonight
stay green all
HEY SHAg u haerd of strin /AURORA/ MAZAAR//
Hey Shaggie, saw this thread last month and guess I never subbed, I'm in. Been paying more attention to smaller grows for a little while now. Like the no mercy technique too.
Thanks for the welcome and thoughts on my heating situ. I'm really not as concerned after doing more research on CO2. It appears that CO2 works best at the higher temps and the girls are looking un-phased by the heat. They have plenty of air circulation and appear nice and healthy with new growth and the colors are amazing. If I can find that article on CO2 again I'll post it.
Unfortunately the venting situation is not available as above my garage is a studio apt. So I have no access to that space. Thanks for the suggestions!
yah Co2 will definitly help them in the higher heat, i beleive its optimal lvl is around 78-90* and anything over 2000ppm can have a potentialy devistating effect on the plant.
if u find the article i would love to read it brother!
