Hi, I am Shady Mac - Ohio LEGAL grower!!!! Love it! Used to grow under the radar years ago, got out of it before the kids got to snooping, and I got my Medical Marijuana card. Now that it's legal, and the kids are old, I figured I get my green thumb rockin'.

Well today is the day! I'll be adding the nutrients and moving the girl over to one of the DWC buckets to start her new life as a mama. I will let her Veg out then will get my own clones off her for the full grow. So this round is going to take an extra month while all that happens. I did pick up a new TDS/ppm ph meter with Wifi/app capabilities. I hope it works well. Anyone use the Bluelab Guardian? Also switched out the IPad for a Surface tablet with a keyboard. (easier to type) Made a nice grow / feeding chart in Google Sheets to help me stay on track.

Hi all, just checking in. Well, Looks like our little LCG girl needed some "friends" Saw a great deal on some clones, so picked up a Mac1, Banana Clips, and a Meat Breath. All are new to me, so I figured I'd try em out. I think I might have had the MAC 1 or a MAC something I bought at the medical dispo. Anyway, I figured, I got the space, empty pots, why wait for the clones? I'll get clones off them all after these Veg out.

Thanks, the grower did a nice job on the clones. I had to knock off the dirt before putting her in the DWC, but the dirt was pretty loose and the roots not crazy established, so it shook right off with out any root damage.

Little update, Roots dropping nicely in the DWC culture, little sag on the LCG, might be oxygen bubbling low. Getting a new pump for that, will see if she perks up. Overall, steady growth.

I see you will be using GH nutrient line; I found them to be very good nutrients. I do use the whole line of products, just what I need for my particular grow.

One thing I notice that you are not using is Hydro Guard. I find this product a must have when growing in water. It will help prevent Root Rot from appealing on, you during your grow.

I will stop in occasionally and see how you are coming along, if it is fine with you.

Thank you for the input... Please do stop in anytime! I do appreciate any input... Hydro Guard you say??? Interesting. I've never gave much thought about root rot, i've never had any issues with the root system in the years prior growing DWC so never gave it much thought. My temps are pretty good, and air bubbles are pretty strong which I always understood as the main contributors? But, I will definitely keep an eye for it now that you brought it to my attention, and the place down the road has the Hydro Guard I believe. Thank you!
