Haha.. that one was a 15 hr print. Upon my getting one, I've found a custom designed carriage , or wraparound the hot end. And it's lasted the designer 450hrs of printing so far. Gonna print one of those. That’s not to bad to start up with. How many jars could you make in a day?
Hahah . For hobbyists right. The designs that are available, open-source,. Can't really "sell" . You'd have to design your own and then yeah, dependant on bed size, speed of said machine, maybe lighten the carriage, move things around , could get er a bit quicker.. much can be done to improve them a bit.Hmm hard to make a profit with one piece a day.
A guy that works there at the makerspace as a 3d designer, recently designed a hexigonal shaped toothbrush case. Tis pretty nifty. Bam. Maybe 3$ in material, or less, but could be sold for 10$ or more. You’d have to find something that fills a niche.
Will take a picture if it's there the next time i go. If I had a laptop to run the software on, could design essentially anything,That would be cool to see.
I'm thinking of even 3d printing aMaybe a carb cap would sell
I'm sure the boss man would enjoy.Could be a winner.
When i do I will have to mention him upon postingHe might at that.
