Any large defoliation will stress and cause the plant to recover for about a week. There are two schools of thought on this and folks have done side by side tests. I prefer to leave my girls alone as much as possible. I do take leaves here and there that are blocking or are wet due to the proximity to another leaf. I have done both (no side by side tests) I find that though there may be less of it, may be, the buds when I don't defoliate are "better" ... no I can't back that with reams of data just a

I know you have seen my girls...now go have a look a Sqweels girls. She is a "defoliator" and her girls are awesome!! You do what you want and it will be fine!!!

Good evening guys and gals!!!

It was watering day today with nutes in, and whilst I was at it, I re-arranged the girls around, shuffled 'em about in the tent from their usual places and also removed alot of leaves - 90% were yellowing and 10% not so yellowing. I am NOT worried about any yellowing at this stage in the game by the way. Not at all. The de-leafing has allowed for lots more room in the tent and will allow plenty more light to penetrate. I'm a happy bunny. Off to smoke a pipe and of course... onto my racing game.
