Cool ...... I read a lot of journals before I decided. But I have not been able to find anyone saying any bad things about BPN .... and I refuse to pay hydro shop prices.

Maybe grab some used coffee grounds and top dress your soil before your next water? It's worked for me. Wait til you hear from one of the more seasoned growrs, but I think that could work fine and cost ya next to nothing!

Not sure if you have access to a home depot. But, they have some stuff there ...... it's made by Monterey. It's Fish/Kelp/Sea Bird Guano poop goop kind of stuff. It absolutely reeks and makes you want to gag. But, my plants loved it. You mix between a 1/4 and a 1/2 ounce to a gallon of water. Give the jug a good shake and let it sit overnight before watering your plants. I also put in 2 tbsp of molassess with it. My girls couldn't get enough.
I've since ordered the 7 pack of Blue Planet Nutrients (organic), which I got today. I gave my girls thier first drink and now waiting to see how they like it.
This is the stuff I got ............

I can only afford the Elite Trio qt pack and a qt of VitaBlue to start with. But that'll still be quality a+ I'm sure.

Hello 420 peeps. I set out today on a mad mission to get BioBizz fish mix, got to the first store and after scouring all the shelves between us to discover he had none, he plied me with a couple freebies that he thought might help. I accepted, but will save them for Dad's house plants I think... he had nothing in the way of blood or bones either which I thought may help.
Onto the next store and he didn't have any either. He did surprise me though by bringing out a bottle of something he only had one left of. Called CANNA MONO. 27% Nitrogen. Meant to mix 1-2ml per litre. It can be used normally as a veg regime, or used to treat N deficiencies.
So despite the fact they had a litre and a half each yesterday with 1ml Bio Grow and 2 ml Bio Bloom, I gave them 2 litres each today (which caused me to get run off, first time ever) with 2ml to each litre of this CANNA MONO.
2 and a half hours after applying it, I returned to where the plants are and their aroma was nice and strong (nice sweet lemon scent) and they did look a bit perkier. Hopefully by Monday/Tuesday we will see the plants starting to get their green coats on again. As you can see from todays pics it's not good at the moment.
The freebs the one guy gave me.
My range of nutes, quite simple, plus the one I bought today in the middle.

Be careful about quick fixes. Nothing happens quick when growing marijuana in soil. It usually takes the better part of a week before you get a good feel for the effect your changes made. So, be careful not to "over do it" because you don't think you are seeing enough results fast enough.
I think you'll be fine. You'll become more confident about what your girls are telling you. But, I would highly suggest you water till you see run off .... every time you water. It's the only way to make sure you watered them enough. Plus, you might notice you don't have to water as often that way.

I would just add one word of caution...if you're not in an organic grow with a thriving micro heard, coffee grounds might cause problems. Coffee grounds are very acidic...that drop in pH you might cause you problems with a chemical nute feeding system. Without a living soil, teeming with microbes, it's almost hydro with the medium being a potting mix, so you can have lockouts. Some "organic" things like high P bat guano can make matters worse, since phosphates can decimate a micro heard... Sorry, getting off on a tangent...just wanted to mention the acidity.

Sense, I agree with them whole heartily..."quick fixes" have done in more than one grow...try and stay away from that mentality. Fish hit the nail on the head, you're girls look great...you're just stressing. Trust me, they don't need a "fix"...they are just letting you know they're hungry.
You're never going to get it right every time unless you really know the strain you are growing. A really good grower learns to know what to watch for at certain points in the grow, and then makes subtle adjustments here and there as the plant lets you know what it needs.

I never found the fish mix in the end so I settled for the only thing I could find (cost me enough just travelling to town and back) which was the bottle of 27% N Canna Mono. I mixed 2 ml to each litre and gave the plants 2 litre each. I see what I have tried to do is a mixture of being a hopefully quick fix, but cautious too. I didn't pour the whole bottle into those babies. :

No worries! I just wanted to make sure.
I'm not really familiar with that line of nutes, but it's usually pretty safe if you follow the directions on the bottle/feeding schedule...Personally, I like to play it safe with anything I'm not familiar with, so I usually start at about half the recommended strength, and work up from there... - Thread starter

Things happen, I had to wack 6 plants in flower or wait forever for them to recover because of fungus gnats. My new grow is close to 12/12, and I would be a month from harvest on the ones I wacked. I learned my lesson about soils with poor drainage. This crop will more than make up for my errors.
I'm so worried about them. I think I just need to lie back and smoke some.
well at least its a fun kind of panic
oh and it stops after harvest but comes back the minute you touch the next seed.its so much fun isnt it.
