Seeds

You should remove the husk. Again I would suggest Megacrop easy to use cheap and it works. If you go to there website they will send you a generous free sample you do have to pay the shipping. It's powder just mix with water and use. Also you use the same nutes from seed to finished bud. It doesn't get much easier than that.
Okay thanks I thought you needed two different fertilizers one for vegging and one for budding

Hey old smokey having a problem cloning could you give me some tips on how you do yours
Here is the technique I have used for cloning for over 30 years easy and it works.

Clone tray available from any gardening store. Fill the tray inserts with vermiculite fill tray about half full of water and let the vermiculite absorb the water. You might need to add more water as it adorbs it. When the vermiculite is fully saturated drain the remaining water out of the bottom of the tray leaving about a quarter inch remaining in the bottom of the tray.

And then I take a stiff piece of wire or stick I use a length of coat hanger to poke a hole into the centre of the vermiculite to put to put the clone into. I prefer to take my clones from the bottom of the plant you won't miss these ones and they seem to root faster than clothes taken from the top of the plant. Using a sharp and clean razor cut your clones at a 45 degree angle this gives you more surface area for rooting. Then I dip the clone about a inch deep into rooting hormone being generous with it get lots on the stem. then slip it into the hole that you've already created in the vermiculite and that's it. This is the rooting hormone I use because it's cheap readily available and it works.

I use no dome on the tray just keep them in a warm area around 70 degrees under a light I use a t5 fluorescent 18 hours on 6 hours off within 10 to 14 days they should be rooted you can check by gently pulling up on the stems and feeling for resistance don't do this too often and no need to do it at all until 10 days. One more thing keep an eye on the water level in the tray when it's gone put a little more in there keep it at about a quarter inch just enough so the inserts are just sitting in the water slightly. When they are rooted feed them a seedling dosage of whatever nutrients you are using.

Good luck hope this helps if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

You always keep clone lights 18/6? Not 24/0?
