Seedlings 1st: Black Cherry Punch, Laniakea, Lemon Thai Kush

Here’s the one I just picked up on amazon the top load. I’ll post the other one I grabbed st Walmart after lights on, it’s bottom load so I’m thinking of switching it out for the top load. Needed one for my bedroom only reason I bought another. Also the one from amazon can be controlled and monitored by a app :thumb:

What size room does that impact...and what is the impact?

I ask because i had 2 smallish ultrasonic hueys in my open flower area, and because of my air exchanges, i couldnt impact it more than a few points.

I had a buddy that grew in the Arizona desert. He'd fret about the dry, but his gear always did well. He grew outdoor mostly and said after awhile you realize there aint much you can do about it.

Here’s the specs on the new one I haven’t used it yet I will fill it tonight and see how it does in my 20x15 bedroom

Interesting, i'm with Gov. though, as i said earlier. The example above is holding cuz the air isn't dry yet. When we get the cold stuff, an our heating systems are rockin, guess wat,...the air becomes desert dry. I wanna get one like the one above,..but like Gov. said, not for only a few points. I need over thirty...ha.
Farmers, how much for that 'App' one?

$99 on amazon. The one I'm currently using is the one I grabbed last year, I get really dry air also and I have baseboard heating and this thing did wonders all winter, I have hardwood floors also, I do have to fill it every 2 days sometimes even daily then but it does impact the shit out of the humidity, hard to say exact because I adjust it to the reading inside the tent really not the room. Hope that helps :passitleft:

Nice! Thanks for the feedback. My grow area is 12x15 too. It's sealed and vented with a 6" exhaust. I've got a ceiling fan, pedestal fan and two 4" fans simply attached to the can filter for extra odor control. All of which increase the pressure.

That's also why I've not done anything about CO2 enrichment...

Oh, does it come with a remote sensor. Reason, i need to just put it in the room outside the gr, which is sealed. A remote sensor would work better for me.

It doesn’t have a remote sensor but I’m sure we can find on that this would plug into and it it app controlled so you could adjust it from anywhere.

Howdy Gang :surf: just got caught up!

Seedling the plants look great! Nice work training them! :high-five:

If u guys are looking for Huey’s that aren’t commercial grade for home grows try this one. It’s $184 plus tax at Lowes in Canada. But they have no tax sales almost monthly here. I lucked out and got one with that promo on. 6gal tank is huge and u just pour it right into the thing no removeable tanks not even a lid to open. Just grab a jug or bucket of water and pour it in. It has 3 fan speeds and RH settings from 25-65% in 5% increments.

I’ve only had it a year or so but it’s working well and just on filter #2. Spring / Summer / Fall I don’t use it that much.

Winter it gets worked a fair bit but I think it could last 2-3 years. Rated for about 70-80watts. There isn’t any blue tooth capability but it might work some how on a smart plug and have a separate sensor that is Bt compatible so u can press buttons from a far.

I have a 1800sq ft home this unit sits on a concrete floor in my furnace / laundry room. During winter the second floor of the house is comfy at 40% RH without this it was bad and fell to under 20%.

Puts a lot of water in the air and lasts fairly long between refills. I get about 48hrs of Run time out of a full tank. If this one ever breaks I might just buy another one. The commercial one I looked at was $600. I can get 3 of these for that.

Hope this helps someone. Cheers Gang :passitleft:

I need to make a run for some wiggle worm soon for my next cook and recharge....the shop I go to have tons of good gear new and used. I am gonna see what kind of deal he can swing me. It is always no tax with cash purchases, and they always have the lowest prices when I check around. If I wasn't buying more lights, I would buy this right now. It looks like it would last several years and be a pleasure to work with....so the price seems reasonable.

Decided to give the BCP the GI drench this morning. 10ml+2.5ml of tea per gallon of water. She is the first of the bunch to get that and it will be my first time seeing the results...exciting. They just keep filling up the space and look great. The LTK got water and tea over the weekend and it shows. The Lanny pots are getting lighter, probably this weekend or early next week they will get their GI.

I took a few pics one to show the vertical height I got to work with. Approximately 5.5 feet from the top of the pots to the highest position of the lights. Looking at the pic I need to raise the light pretty soon.

Enjoy

...Duggs, Inkbird makes decent controllers and are quite reasonable on the Zon...their humidity controller has a sensor that you could put in your GR, leaving the huey outside the room...I unplug my temp controller when not needed, and when I need to plug it in. previous settings are retained...cheerz... :high-five: ...h00k...:hookah:...

Morning Seedling and Gang!

That Ideal Air Huey is the one I was eyeballing last year too! My local grow shop also does no tax with cash purchase and I go there to get my seeds. Some pots and odds and ends. They only carry Dinafem , DP , Elev8 and HSO. Soon they will carry Ethos so I’m stoked for that. Will definitely buy Mandarin Strains , Banana Hammock and a few others.

That unit was approx $500+ tax for the smaller unit. I’ll have to check again as this was a year ago. It’s nice that it has a water hookup so u wouldn’t need to refill. But that does require some more work.

If you do get that one let us know the price and how install goes. Enjoy the day Seed :ganjamon:

I may get that one....I wouldn't bother setting up a line. I would just let it gravity feed from one of my 5 gallon water containers. That price above is US currency so $500 sounds about right. This place isn't really a shop...more like a warehouse that caters to large scale commercial growers. There is tons of used equipment laying around...so we will see what I end up with.

Lovin the chat about these various hueys. My environment is pretty solid, but I could make it better. My enthusiasm is cyclic...and I'm getting back in the mood to tweak my grow.

Having said that, I must comment on the garden seedling. They're all looking super. Color and growth look perfect and it looks like they all branched nicely after the topping too. Keep it up bro.

Well my last/first grow got sabotaged by environmental issue's. I'm trying not to be too obsessive, just need to get in the disaster free zone and will be satisfied. Lots of time for fine tuning and upgrades.

...and thanks yeah everyone is looking happy in there. The BCP got pumped after that last GI drench. I put her in the bonsai wire the same day as the drench and she looks as badass as the LTK now.

I ordered up two Mars TS1000 QB's, so flowers are not too far off.
