Season of Autos - 2016 Soon To Be Spring Grow - Mars Hydro LED

They look amazing Magic...:high-five:...not an ugly leaf in the bunch... I don't like ugly leaves...:thedoubletake:....:circle-of-love:

Thanks Dennise. :high-five:

My first tent grow suffered from quite a few ugly leaves but ended with some high quality buds so I learned (I think) from that.

There's trimmers, then there's Fiskars. :)

Amen to that. I even prefer my set to the expensive bonsai tools Dale left me.

I had a lot of pretty words I was ready to spout Jim, and then I found this, which sums up how far you've come as a cultivator. Pretty magical, if you ask me. I think the user name was an excellent choice.

Auto-flowering Strains Day 40

Ultraviolet Auto

Pineapple Express Auto x 2 - Indica Dominant. Big Bud x Skunk x Ruderalis THC 22%
Sugar Mango Ryder Auto - Hybrid. Low Ruderalis x Santa Maria from Brazil

I added a bucket to lift Ultraviolet so now you can barely see Pex blue pot in center. Mostly leaves are turned to the lights which really puts a smile on my face. Happy plants

I guess I wanted to find light pots but no liquids today.

Sugar Mango has really impressed me with her strength. Both Pineapple Expresses starting to stack and I'll be adding some Big Bloom and perhaps a little molasses to all the autos next feeding. Throughout this grow I have been lowering pH around 6.0 or below.

Pruning the White Widow and Jack Herer re-veg girls

I've talked about cleaning up the re-veg girls and today was that day. I took both out and my intent is to cut whatever was necessary out of these so that some ventilation could occur and get the plant to the point that I could do some LST and fine trimming later. I just want to get to the point that I have several bud sites that could be developed by further topping and trimming.

Trial and error again for me as I haven't sought any advice. These won't be flipped until all the autos have finished and I have lots of cuts to see if I can root them. That's my other project for today...LOL

New Cloning Process

Well, it's really only new to me. I haven't found any definitive success with cannabis through a quick search.

I haven't given up on traditional cloning but I saw this at the nursery and I figured I'd give it a try. After pruning (somewhat harshly) my White Widow and Jack Herer re-veg girls this morning I had plenty of small cuts. So here's what I've done.

Gel2root

I just squirted the gel into some K cups that I emptied of the used coffee and filter. A sterilized razor was used for a fresh 45 degree angle and a little scraping of the stem end.

So we shall see how these 6 do. I'll probably have to cover the roots from the light but it's always time for experimentation for me.

Nice grow! Thanks for the advice I suck at posting lmao! Revegging looks like it hurts :P

High there vapeape!. Nah, you don't suck at posting... Here's a help to get your journal promoted a bit

How do I add signature?

Re-vegging is more enjoyable at the passing of every day. Those three girls are as vigorous today as they were at 2 months. It just so exciting for me to get a "mulligan" on getting more frosty nuggets. I also think my clones are going to work out this time too.

I switched yesterday to smoking the White Widow and its cure has so changed the profile. I smoked a bowl this morning and went to men's breakfast at church, then Sunday school. I didn't stay for the Service because of a little paranoia....or probably a territorial desire to be home. Anyhow, the White Widow is a little different every time I smoke it.

Auto-flowering Strains Day 43

Team Everything here benefited from the cold weather today as I was able to run both lights with temps around 75F.

Wow Jim. Got my blood going with these last few posts. Do you realize how much you've stepped up your game? Haha! Your Sugar Mango looks like she's reaching out for a hug Jim. :laughtwo: How sweet. Lol!

They're all exciting in their own way, each individual. One of your Pineapples has buds that reminded me of my Jamaican Dream. The sweetest smelling buds I grew last run. It's interesting, Dr. Dustin Sulak recommends you find a strain that works for you that you like the smell of and have it tested. Then you know what's in that plant that benefits you and you know to look for those markers in other strains. I think Jamaican Dream would have been one of mine. The smell causes a distinctive emotional response in my system.

I think his idea was that your body was telling you through the olfactory system that this one had something your body needed. Trusting your instincts. I'll have to go back and read it again.

Curious now, have you noticed a draw to one particular strain from your stock?

Yeah, somewhere back in there I was compelled to give you reps, and from that point on I wished I'd waited. Good work Jim. :high-five:

I wonder at times what that tent really smells like. My sense of smell is so diminished due to cigarette smoking. I just get my nose and plant together sometimes. I'll look into these things of which this doctor speaks.

Thanks for comments and reps.

Your garden is looking green and healthy Magic...:circle-of-love:

:thanks: D. I have that Pineapple Express in the softie with a magnesium issue. I guess. Gonna look at her close today. She's in back and doesn't get my close attention.

Pineapple Express Auto x 2 - Indica Dominant. Big Bud x Skunk x Ruderalis THC 22%
Sugar Mango Ryder Auto - Hybrid. Low Ruderalis x Santa Maria from Brazil

I got most of the plants and such out of the tent today as I wanted to defoliate the Pineapple Express in the softie. She wasn't terrible but most of the lower fans were removed. Soon bud development nutes will be scheduled. Cuts are looking good as are the re-veg girls. I have some cuts just sitting in bowls of RO water and roots are developing and that makes my happy
