Scrogdawg's White Widow Fem Grow

About a half inch above the bottom. Just enough room to get a uniseal in.
This might sound silly but, do you get a water tight seal with a uniseal? Just slide the pvc into it, once in place? I figured ou would need to glue it somehow

At what distance is the return line from the bottom of the buckets?

As close to the bottom as you can get. When you drain you want to get as much out as possible.

And the force of the submersible pump in your central reservoir has enough push to force the water to return back with the help of gravity?

The height of the water column in the pod is much higher than the height of the water column in the reservoir so it always pushes back to the reservoir.

The Uniseal will give a good friction seal only if you've drilled a good round, clean hole for it. Out of the 10 in my system I think I had to silicone 3 of them because of poorly drilled holes. If they leak it will always be between the seal and the pod not the seal and pvc.

Thanks for passing on all the good info. :Namaste::ganjamon::thanks:

+1 to that. All of my leaks seemed to be around where the Uniseals meets the curved plastic on the 5gal buckets. At first, only one out of the 5 Uniseals was leaking, but I siliconed all five because I noticed that anytime I would bump into the buckets, it would cause some drips.

I actually used some below waterline marine sealant from West Marine, I will try to find a pic for you.

Hope everyone is having a good 420...

I bumped the nutes to 560µS yesterday. PH is 5.9, and res temp is 71⁰F. Today I started some LST to position them at the outside edges of the scrog screen when its put up later.

The roots on all the plants are coming nicely and are in the water. They should take off pretty quick now.

Great looking 420 Tree. Let alone --- nice stash.

Hehe. I think we should all celebrate this important holiday to the max. Santa Claus is a drunken fool. We need to take it back! Next year im gonna plant a bunch of seeds at new years, send them to flower at the beginning of February and put together my own 420 tree lot! Haha

Thanks

Maybe we should arrange a big group grow.
