Hmmm it's a silicone thing huh? That shit always messes with res ph from what I understand. I'm almost outta my rhino skin, I think I'll get more. Pricey, but if I add it 15 mins to an hour before the rest of the stuff, It does its job great!

I know some nutes will interact with one another negatively, but that shouldn't be the case with stuff from the same manufacturer. Probably just old

It's pretty powerful stuff from what I've read

No biggie, girl looks strong and will power through these issues just fine
 
Ok kids...today's class is on Silica..and how to muck up your Rezz

So, after I realized a few days ago I miss read the Rhino Skin bottle, was only using about half recommend

When I mixed the Rez yesterday, I used full strength Rhino

So as I am making water, yes we have to hear on the surface of the sun, I'm now wondering what to do

Try Dynagrow again with minimal Pro-tekt????

Use what I used to use with Rhino Skin and proceed with GH Flora Trio?????

I do know, Silica is my arch nemesis in DWC....lol

That and reading....lol
 
I ordered flora trio today in quart bottles and also got some floralicous plus to add in cause I’ve heard good things about it. If dynagro starts giving problems I will have flora on hand so I’m ready lol. I’m wanting to try it anyway in dwc.✌️

floralicous looks similar to koolbloom, I use that in flower for added P and K

I do like the GH Flora Trio, just gotta figure out this damn Silica crap

Woke up to just the white goopies on the roots

So read up and now on the second batch of h202 water to clean them off

They look better, hoping this will clean them good.

They, roots, had good growth as well as Baby Haze

I'm preparing a new rezz, going base nutes only with some h202, to see if she kicks this root goop issue

Been a challenge so far, hope I kick this crap before next weekend when we take off road tripping for a week

Think I'll let em gurgle in the h202 for little while, like an hr or so, then swap the water and run it again

I want to wash the hydrotron assss well so gonna pour and slosh it around good to get any goopies out
Think I'll soak some freshies now and swap as much hydrotron as u can

Strange indeed! I was doing about 2 ml per gallon. That seems to be ideal for my kids. I like it about once or twice a week, and then I ramp it up the last 2 weeks of veg and through stretch.

Are you using z7 or the like?

It's from the Silica. Obviously I reach the GOOPIFUCATION point...lol

Both hydroguard and z7 but it had already took hold so needed to flush it all, the water, and clean her up

It almost looks all gone now, gonna let it sit for a bit more, then swap out the hydrotron that I can, then into the rezz with just base nutes, I'll add enzymes tonight if no goopies are on her

She has perked up a bit, even after loosing some roots

Yeah she sure looks happy. Damn goopification! Yeah Idk much about any of that. But I do hope the (edit) gooPies (i wish you all the gooDies today) stay away

All swapped out and she is looking great

Much perkier than this AM

I don't see any goopies on her roots or hydrotron, so didn't swap any of her hydrotron, the h202 looks like it worked great

Checked roots

No sign of goopies at all

Just GH Flora trio in there now and pH to about 5.7ish

I'd say if no goopies show on the roof tonight I'll add the hydroguard and z7 in the AM

I read where the enzyme cleaners are like a turbo charger for those root goopies so wanna be sure they are gone

Then I'll also add the Terpinator to the rezz and do a test of my auto water system for next week. May not even need it, just depends on her drinking habbits by then

You don't think its temperatures causing that do you? Have you thought of trying the frozen water bottles in the buckets to see how that affects it? Sorry not much help with DWC. There is a reason I love my soil!

It's all from the Silica, too much and unable to disolve in the water

Tried something different, and am paying for the learning...lol
 
Well if its too much, scale back a little perhaps? Maybe smaller amounts introduced throughout the life cycle of the res?

Never had issues last DWC grow, so going back to what works
