Enjoyed the catch up Bvb! Everything is looking great in Das Schloss un da Hinterhoff!

Ps: nice cloning tutorial, I do it similarly and have noticed the less light you have at the beginning gives them a good chance of getting a strong foot hold early.

It's always Mother's Day in das hinterhof, until late fall when it all comes to a frosty end!
Maybe climate change will change the climate.

Today in Das Schloss

Its been a little over 2 weeks since we last looked at the clones. Some of the clones have hooked up much faster than the others and in general that would be the Blue Gelatos.

I am confident in all but one of the stunties. The 3 o'clock position one is the only one that doesnt show me any new growth and dont know if its going to make it.

Just in case, I have made some backup clones if the 4 worrisome dont pan out. They are much more robust size wise and if they surpass the originals in growth, I will swap them out.

Stunties or Clones?

I am at a crossroads and would like to hear your opinion.

The stunties have finally hooked up and are showing new growth with a desire to reach upwards.

Fine, whats the problem you say?

The clones I made in back up look nearly ready and also have some encouraging new growth down the middle. I feel they are close but cant be sure they have roots. They are 12 days old I think.

I have been deliberately trying to slow down the larger plants by keeping them in their small pots and holding off quading them. With the goal of trying to have all plants at the same stage and height (I know that cant and wont happen)

Which plants would you continue on with? The stunties or the clones?

There are a couple that look a touch light in color. :Namaste:
It's not always size that determines which ones I flower.
Root health and structure.
Plant structure and health.
And are they growing fast or just hanging around?
Look at these parameters and pick the ones top of the list.
Hope your doing well my friend.
Don't hear from you that often.

They were just hanging around, but like I said, have just found the next gear.

The Summer has kept me busy and away from my keyboard. You'll notice, the cooler the temps get, the more I update.
After this weekend I will take them out of the Humiditorium and see how they respond.

Today in Das Schloss

Its a lesson in how to slow a plant down. Thats right, slow it down.

As you may have already seen, some of these clones have hooked up faster than the others. Today, I make those plants pay for what they did.

I quad'd all the plants that were quadable. There are a couple stunties that were very close, but I will give them a few more days and let the stuntie/backup clone war rage on. It looks like the stunties are going to win though. As such, I also top dressed and upcanned all except the stunties that might lose out to the backup clones. The larger plants got stripped pretty tight as to let them think about what they did to this grow by hooking up too well.

This is also graduation for those lucky upcanners to no longer be using the milk jug and measuring cup to be fed anymore. They have now levelled up to Baron Von Blurples Nütenschütz® feeding regiment. Light is and has been dimmed down as low as I can get which is 60 watts. I plan to bump up after a couple days of letting todays beating sink in.

A quick look at the bright young up and comers....the backup clones.
