Happy Easter Everyone!

Being old, and on a fixed budget I have to look at all ways possible to save a buck where I can. So today I showed up at the huge church sponsored Easter egg hunt. Sure, I got some looks as I knocked elbows with some 4 year olds as we scrambled to find the "hidden" eggs. At least I wasn't greedy. Once I had my two dozen I called it quits and let the youngsters find the better hidden eggs. Yummy...…..hard boiled eggs and egg salad sandwiches this week for me!!

I though besides that rabbit tale I would share some pictures of my Quarter Pounder auto X Fast Buds Gorilla Glue auto cross I made this past winter. She's only in a 2 liter bottle so not huge, but I'm really quite pleased with what she is producing.

DAY 53 UPDATE

Hey everybody!

A quick update today. I did some light defol on the GG in FFOF tonight. I removed the lower branches that are not going to make it to the canopy. It's only going to produce flarf and I'm just not ready to keep it yet. I did get my spanking brand new MB machine today so I'll be trying to figure that out and that flarf will be good to use down the road.

OK so these are all pics, nothing to report. What I find totally amazing so far is the GG in FFOF has not shown any signs of pistols yet, and the THC Bomb in FFOF has flowered for the last 2-3 weeks, albeit piddly ass little wanker flowers that don't deserve to be photographed tonight. It's not her fault... it was the stress I put on her.

Bummer about the Seedsman order. I’m a dash of salty with them because they charged me $5 more than they were supposed to. I wrote a ticket about it and they gave me the run around and then stopped responding. It’s only $5 so I’m not going to hammer them about it, but I’d also kind of like to pay the amount they said it would cost.

The ladies are looking great! Especially that GG! :yummy: Oh la la (that’s French). Keep it up Mr. S!

@SeedsMan both times I ordered I got charged more as well it says on the site something about exchange rates or what not and a different amount maybe charged.

Correcto!
Them foreign currency rates can change daily. I switch the currency to USD on their website before I add anything to my cart. I've not had any issues with the order total changing after checkout.

I'm sure there is also a bit of chaos over there right now too, with all the 4/20 sales. Might be why they aren't responding as fast as they normally do.

Really hope they get you fixed up with some freebies or store credit HH.

Yeah, the currency thing was the runaround they gave me. And then just ignoring me from there, this was long before 4/20 too. I’ve only ordered from 420 before this and they’re in a different country too, but I paid exactly what they said. Might be a tidy little profit if you charge 50% of your orders an extra $5 each time. Sorry, salty is sneaking out again! I’m feisty in the morning. Didn’t mean to complain on your thread Mr. S. Buttoned up from now on. :kiss:

Meh, I'm OK with it. I look back now and am kinda glad it was cancelled. Saved some money. Sure the freebies would have been good, but all the seeds I have now, except the Dr's, are freebies in one form or another from this mag and its sponsors.

I agree with Preston re using USD on checkout. I have never had an issue of being over charged. Did you apply loyalty points and maybe they didn't get applied at the end?

Haha! I did use the usd tab because I don’t understand any other money, although I do know what loonies and toonies are (I’m sure it’s not spelled correctly though!) I even sent the screen shots of the invoice they emailed me and my credit card bill. It just seems to me that if the rates change during the time between order accepted and charge initiated, the business should eat the cost, not the consumer. Maybe I’m being naive (more French!) I don’t have a lot of experience with foreign transactions though. I’m thinking I’ll try Dr. Seeds next, lol whenever that may be!

The one bomb is flowering nicely, the other is vegging. All is well and I'll have an update late tonight.

The pic below shows a fan off the GG auto in FFOF. Many of the leaves are 9 pointers with some shooting 11.
