SanibelGreen's LED/Bubbletronics Grow (1st)

I really think the feeder tubes also play a role in the root structure. Alot of the bubble grows a look at share a similar structure where the grows that do not use feeder tubes like i do have a different more web like structure. At least theyre white as can be and healthy, Obviously not using any nutes that dye your roots horrible scary dark colors lol. The top roots on both my S.A.G.E. and Power Kush (ones coming right out of the pot) are about as fat as a #2 pencil :slide:

Ya I hear ya Mike a lot of the roots are very thick right inside the net. Do you think I should have the feeder tubes still in? I figured they were good to go :)

I would say leave em, no sense in changing something that is working. If it aint broke, dont fix it ya know. But i wouldnt know for sure, i have never used feeder tubes, i just keep the bottom inch or 2 of the pot emersed in the res when theyre young and slowly bring the water level down to the bottom of the pot.

I am a firm believer in taking them out asap! The plants adapt to the new system of taking on nutes from the tips of their roots and not having it fed to them...as soon as i took out my feeder tubes i saw an explosion of growth (i was still in veg), and I see this with many other's grows as well. It think it just makes the plants more efficient, and as long as the roots are touching water they don't need the tubes.

Also if they stay in there too long they become a magnet for bacteria...roots get caught in the pump then die and rot, and the tubes can get too tangled inside the roots to safely pull out.

Everything is looking great tho SG, keep it up :goodjob:

Ahhh, a fogger cloner is getting ready to be made in your future! They work really well, took about 5 days for me to get roots... and when not in use you can make a cool pouring fog feature in the smoke/chill room for ambience!
All is looking well, can't wait to see how they pop under those lights!

The clones have their own cab which is in construction! Just trying to figure out the light situation for it...

Lookin really good SG those ladies are getting huge. HD sells 2' shop lights that hold 2 flouros (supplied with the light) for a little over $20. I use 2 of these for my little clones. Just remember you will need a plug and bare wire to wire the lights since they dont have a plug on them. I wired 2 of them 2 one plug. Just an idea man

Little bit of growth` however they are drinking a ton and ppm was 1100 this morn and was down to around 500 before I added more water and nutes. Does the ppm drop so much because the plants are sucking that much of it up or....? I figure yes but worth asking.

SG

PPM drops, but with a lot of water consumed, that doesnt' sound right to me. I have come home to a gallon of water missing, I know they ate, and the ppm went UP because there was less water ratio to nutes.

I re nutes water with suggested lvls and its back to normal now guess I just didn't use enough last time measurement wise get paranoid that I might brn them but they seem fine now.
