What if i take off the box it has a long cord and looks like it doesnt need to be attached to the system... I wonder if i somehow keep it hoisted up it'll still give light but the heat can be removed from tent?

What is on the box?

If your thermometer is sitting on top of the light, that is an issue.
I like my temperature sensor about the same level as the canopy.

85 is okay for LEDs. It's more of an issue with lights that put off more infrared light like HPS, etc. What's most important is the surface temperature of the leaves.
For example running a super hot light like an HPS, your air temp should be in the 70s so that your leaf temp will be in the 80s because you're compensating for the infrared heat off the big light. But since there's little infrared light coming from the LED you don't have to compensate as much.
Remember that herb grows in Thailand, Jamaica and Africa which hardly ever get below 80!

Omg i feel likea fuckin genius hahahahaha it finally clicked were already down to 83

No i keep it the same level as the plants

So not only do i have some GSC and auto SD he threw in an Amnesia and Bruce Banner!!! Omg which one do I try first... Here we were gonna go camping in August if i plant 1 soon it wont be ready by then will it? Like it'll still be kickin if I take 3 days away? I have a timer set and i will plan the water for the day we leave and then when we get back... Im also not going far where if need be i could come check

Hey if any of you have a video or a clear (gawd I'm lame) way to do clones i would really like to see it. Im gonna start with 1 of the GSC and I wanna get 2 or 3 clones from and then I'll feel confident to put a blade to my girl ( so nice to not stress of its gonna be a girl or not)

Sadly act like your teaching 8th grade science... (You would think with a college degree I would be smarter) but I dont wanna fuck it up

It seems pretty simple, u cut a branch at the node at a 45 degree angle and shave the stem a little to expose more flesh, then rub sum root grow stuff on it and stick it in a rapidrooter, only thing I’m unsure of is where exactly ur supposed to cut it, it was out of frame when he did it on YouTube

I've been planning to record one next time I clone but...I'm a bit nervous about uploading it to youtube. Does anyone know if we can upload videos straight to this site? I mean, I could do it on a basil or tomato plant I guess?

I finally got a humidifier with a humidistat in it, that will make my life easier lol it has a lcd display but I don’t think I will need it during flower so I don’t think the tiny light will b an issue during veg, what ya think?

There are a few little extra "tricks" that seem to help as well. My first...few attempts failed...and a few more after that LOL but eventually I got the hang of it
