Salt N Pepa: Back Again

Awe you have a lil mutant on your hands!
Hahaha good thing I like odd things!! Im excited to see the other white one to see if its a mutant too

Why doea one plant have3 leaves

The mutation is called whorled phyllotaxy. See:

I am going to follow along. I have had zero luck getting bag seeds to grow. Mostly my fault. I have been hoarding bag seeds since the late 70's. Over the years I have done half ass attempts. I had 100's of seeds from Thai stick, Columbian Gold, Brown, Red Bud(my absolute favorite) and plain mexican. I wish I still had some left. Especially now I have some experience. Maybe I will find a lost film canister with a few seeds in a box somewhere.

Good luck!!

Well hmmm i wonder if it was because its the white seed? I wonder if the other white one will do that too.... The dark seed that had a seed on it shot up real quick its even taller then the first sprout.. I made the heat worse.... I cant get it lower then 84F or 27C ive got 2 fans inside and i have a box fan feeding air conditioned air into the room... What can I do?

I've had success blowing the warm air out and passively sucking in cooler relacement air. I've never tried blowing in cool air

Try a small inline duct fan pushing air out (see duct fan in bottom right of tent ) available at hardware stores everywhere

Yes thats what i have :) now should i just put it in there like you have it? Right now i have the dryer hose zip tied on so it is blowing colder air from the house (we only have an air conditioner in living room but keeps the place cold... Its not even 80 degrees outside lol

If you're just "recycling" your air, in other words, exhausting it into the same space that your grow space is getting its air from, well, then you're just heating the same air over and over, basically.

Add up the actual wattage of your lighting devices. In a confined space, figure that they're producing 3.412141633 BTU per watt. That calculation will help when you try to figure out if your air conditioner is adequate to the job (and what capacity to upgrade to if it is not). That's not counting any ballasts / power supplies. If those are also in the grow space, that's more heat to deal with. A lot of indoor cannabis gardeners love mini-split air conditioner setups for cooling both their grow spaces and other (living) ones, too. That may or may not fit your budget (or your housing circumstances).

Generally speaking, if your plants' roots have ready access to water, and great airflow through the canopy, they will self-cool to a large extent (via transpiration). That is one of the reasons that I'm a fan of relatively large reservoir, highly aerated DWC setups. But plants growing in soil will transpire, too, of course.

80 is what my ac is set for! Haha

<SHUDDERS>

If I hop out of the shower - and it's above 68°F - and I dry off... five minutes later, I look like I didn't. On the other hand, if I know it's 8°F outside, I'll just add another layer or two of clothing, and be just fine. Global warming SUCKS.

I dont miss my 116°F days in AZ now tucked away in northern WI i am always adding a layer here lol but i feel MN is the same yall have ur babies outside in diaper when its 30 saying gee what a heatwave (when its may) hahaha i love Midwesterners. I still cant deal with winter or thw amount of snow... Its one extreme or the other here

80 feels nice compared to the 110 outside.

You live in the middle of Hell, lol? You'd get along with my ex-wife (although I don't think she has actually "moved" to your neighborhood yet). For years, in Winter, I had to suffer until she fell asleep, then turn the thermostat down. Every time I turned around, she'd have that thing jacked all the way up to 72F - even when we lived so far out in the country that we had to finance someone's vacation on a regular basis (IOW, propane deliveries :( ).

Aw, (real) Winter just gets a person exercising madly. Or cuddling. Or both ;) .

Haha im about to invite you out here to just set it up ive now converted the spare bedroom as my new area so im literally steps away from adding my white work table and hoisting a light system up to the ceiling . you would think with the amount of fans i have and the space that it wouldnt be so hot. I even have night time set up in the morning so they'll sleep during the hottest part which the room stays at a wonderful 70 with nothing on... I love the mars hydro but it runs hotter then what i did have... Im just scared the 85 will hermie them.. I still dont know if that was the stress that triggered because i know it wasnt the lights

80F is not bad at all. I like to run my flower room in the 78-80 range. It's not panic time, but it is 'be prepared' time.

You are running cool air INTO your tent, the cool air you move in mixes with the hot air inside.
I am suggesting you try running the hot air OUT of your tent, then the cool air will replace the hot air in your tent.

It might not make a difference, but it's an easy thing to try.

Since hot air rises, and the LED fans blow upwards, you want to blow air out one of the upper openings.

Leave a larger opening near the bottom for the replacement air to get inside. You want to do this anyway. You are trying to make the air flow, not create changes in air pressure.
