RQS Critical x2: Photos In Veg 90 Days, Just Flipped

Thanks man, it's been some years in the making and slowly upgrading stuff. I certainly do not own a hydro store lmao I wish

The leaves pointing toward the dirt like certainly do indicate that's there's there's issue at the root zone. Sounds like.ylu have enough drainage and air, but those gnats certainly could be the issue you're seeing. I would try to get the gnats under control first and then see if the problem with the leaves persists. They don't look bad at all so far so you aren't in trouble yet but keep a good eye on it. Is it just the leaves you showed in pictures that are effected? Or is there any others? And did you check the lowest sets of leaves to see if they are changing colors?
Thank you for taking the time @dick23rk appreciated.
Yeah mate, just the leaves in the pic affected.
There are some yellowing leaves at the bottom, look like they’re ready to fall off.but no more than What I’d expect at this point in the grow( I think so anyway)
I’ll post a pic in a bit mate, see what you think.
And man that set ups good.. at first( apologies) I thought you where a sales guy, or something , pushing heavy for sponsors or something of a similar nature.

peace an love man

I wish you didn't ask me that one. They are autos right? There is so much conflicting info on them and I have no experience in autos.
That being said, my theory is that bigger roots usually mean bigger buds etc.
So I put mine in biggest pots I can fit in room.I don't know if that applies to autos. With their own schedule and all. Best bet im sure you know is see what others do with their autos.
Hey mate, no worries, I know you do your thang.. just thought I’d ask.

Haha nope, I got no sponsors either. I've just been upgrading as I go and I like to show people what I pick up for my garden so that if they like what it's doing for me, they can try for themselves. I would love to get sponsored by some companies from 420mag though!

sounds good mate.

Hey @NuttyProfessor
Hope the worlds being good to you mate.. as you seem to of been able to do yourself enough mischief without any help.:)
Anyways.. with yourself being an auto man guru..I was a wondering if you could put me straight on the use of 7 gal pots with the autos please?
is it better to stick to the smaller 5gsl pots for any particular reason?

Peace an Bud :)

Imo, you'd be fine with 5 gallon for autos. Unless you know how big these autos get, if they get over 3 feet tall then a 7 gallon would be good, especially if it's a longer flowering strain. I've grown them in 1, 3 and 5 and photos in 7

Hey mate appreciated.
Would it be to the detriment of the girls, if I was to plant them in the 7gal? I’ve got a few
Longer flowering strains to go on, 10/11 weeks flowering. I think all of them say over a meter on the description. (I’ll double check that)

It's certainly not going to hurt anything putting them into 7 gallon, by all means you can do so with no I'll effects. Just the use of some more dirt and nutes in the end is all, some people like to conserve.

I forgot to get back to you about the yellowing leaves. The lower ones yellowing off during flower isn't really anything to be concerned about, but the upper ones yellowing off this early in flower could mean they just didn't get quite enough nitrogen before the flip. You don't really want to up your nitrogen too much at this point imo, but you could up it a little.

I think if it was a deficiency that it would be showing up more than what we see here, let's us know if it keeps getting worse.

Hey mate, thanks for getting back. Hope your well.
Pic of yellow leaves, the girl could do with a bit of tidying up as well. Busy, sorting other stuff at the min. I’ll hopefully get a few hours of quality time in there tomorrow .
peace an love man

Fantastic branching my friend. I did 8 air pots today im dieing.
I'll have to go check the beans, 2 have a slight crack as of this morning.
Hope you are doing well. Stay away from that wheelbarrow. :peace:

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much about those lower leaves. They yellow off first as the plants uses up stored nutrients but they also don't get much light either so they tend to die off. The mid and upper fan leaves though, you don't want too many of them yellowing until the last few weeks essentially.

Plans... mwahahahaaa.. suck it and see at the min.
I’m going to put them in root riot cubes, then keep an eye on what your doing.
When it’s time to move on to big school, I’ve got 7 gal cloth pots with coir/ perlite mix 70/30 ish.
I’ve wet em through with Canna start.( hopefully not the first error) phd 5.8.
Next part of the plan .. have a look at what your good self and Dick are doing and adjust accordingly for autos. It’s a plan with breathing room, as that’s as far as it goes:)
If I’m honest I haven’t finished working out how I’m going to get all the lights switched around an where they’re all going..
Going to be in a buggers muddle tomorrow or Tuesday.

I love coco, its so easy to work with. 7 gal, thats great, I like the idea of the bigger pot more roots is always better.

I do have a 2ft 4 tube t5 hanging above the propagator .
Can drop a couple of tubes it you think it’s a bit too bright.
also got 3 x 4’ streetlights to put on for short veg period. I’ll have the big light spare once I change around.. maybe leave on veg mode and take the fans off. Plans ay:)

T5's are great at first. I have 3-35 watt led's in clone room ill start with then into veg room wit the big girls. We will have to figure out when your autos flip so I can at least do 1 at the same time as you for grins. I'm hoping the cbd plants turn out ok I have plans for them. Hopefully when I get mom going ill do full runs of cbd 8-10 at a time. Bring on the new med's.
