Both of these girls are thirsty. Lady 2 has just finished supping her own 2 gal. Just started to get a bit of run off.

Looking good bud! They seem right in their happy place.

As far as defoliating/exfoliating I normally take all the largest fan leaves to allow more light to bud locations, maybe the odd other leaf if it's a nuisance. I also take bottom couple of branches that you know aren't going to make much for buds, but I do that part before flower.

I will take some leaves and lower branches about 2 weeks before flower and transplant at same time. Then about 3 weeks into flower I'll take off those largest fan leaves (smaller ones that grew after the first defoliation) that are blocking light.

I just noticed your beans are autos. You will be in flower and ill still be in veg.
Just an observation. Funny we both popped Diesel beans. Did you get them into paper towel yet? How is the back yard looking? Did they get that gravel moved?

And no they didn’t I forgot that my oldest was in college till 7pm.. however, got the youngest to lump a pile of concrete flags onto the skip.

I did sewer hookups in a subdivision one year. The day after it rained I drove the back hoe onto the front lawn. It sank like a stone. I totally destroyed the lawn trying to get out. Which only made it worse. I had to call a crane to lift it off the lawn. Cost me $700 to move it 50'. That job was a nightmare.
Anyhoo back to beans, never grew Diesel before >1% thc, if all 4 pop ill grow and flower three and keep the 4th for a mother. Im really looking forward to making my medication from cbd to see what the difference will be.
I have herd of moon rocks before. Amazing looking buds that should be interesting.

ive recently got myself a little multi tasking pressure cooker/ slow cooker.
I put a pile of trim off my last Northern lights in with some butter. And made a lemon cake with half of it. Woah.. I was absolutely wasted off it total knocked me out.
However, ive got a couple of health issues goin on. And I figure. Eating cake and butter related products, will probably kill me quicker than smoking the stuff.
Any ideas for healthier options would be most welcome .

That is similar to the pics of moon rock buds. So maybe its really like that.

Day 30
Critical 1 and 2 getting a fair bit of discolouration. The leaves on 2 are still bending downwards. It’s been near a week now.
Temps been ok ranging from 16c in the evening, to max 28 in the day.
Been watering every other day. Both ladies been taking 2 gal. Full strength nuts alternating days with phd water.
Tap water here. Ph 8/8.5. Ppm 150/200.
I’ve recently seen a post @dick23rk which @Emilya suggested the leaves turning downwards could be root problem. The problem being too much moisture at the bottom.
I’m usin coir and a few clay pebbles to help with drainage at the bottom of the pot.
I do have a good dose of fungus gnats, which I thought where only a few until I put a load of sticky traps about. Feckin hundreds of em.
I believe that the grubs of the gnats eat the fine root hairs. Could this be the/a problem with the dropping leaves?

On the yellowing of the leaves, I’m wondering if it’s a bit of sunburn? As it appears the majority are located in the most intense part of the light footprint . You can see the darker leaves to the back of the plant. Which made me think about the light intensity.

Looking at the pic below I was thinking perhaps a ph issue at first but this leaf was the only one. No clue really, just guessing.

Any help or advise always appreciated. Im really not wanting things to go wrong at this point

You have a hungry looking bunch of girls. Possibly the start of a deficiency problem. Your in soil right? And watering every other day? Are you giving enough time to dry a bit before watering again. Are you adding any cal-mag?

Hope the worlds spinning the right way for y.
Beans went in paper towel yesterday. I’ve got a nice little heated propagate with 4 little root riot cubes sitting in there waiting for insemination.
Also got a 2ft 4tube t5 itching to light em up.
Not sure if it’s a good idea or not. But I dissolved a little clonex gel in some warm water and gave the cubes a soaking.
I’m going to pop them in 7 gal cloth pots when they’re ready (unless my air pots land) im trying this out after I had a look at a couple of monster girls produced by @Apoc . Don’t think I fancy some of the nuts he’s using, so I could be setting my self up to a fail before I start.. what you recon Bill? 7gal or 5 gal?

The leaves pointing toward the dirt like certainly do indicate that's there's there's issue at the root zone. Sounds like.ylu have enough drainage and air, but those gnats certainly could be the issue you're seeing. I would try to get the gnats under control first and then see if the problem with the leaves persists. They don't look bad at all so far so you aren't in trouble yet but keep a good eye on it. Is it just the leaves you showed in pictures that are effected? Or is there any others? And did you check the lowest sets of leaves to see if they are changing colors?

I wish you didn't ask me that one. They are autos right? There is so much conflicting info on them and I have no experience in autos.
That being said, my theory is that bigger roots usually mean bigger buds etc.
So I put mine in biggest pots I can fit in room.I don't know if that applies to autos. With their own schedule and all. Best bet im sure you know is see what others do with their autos.
