Would you bin them and get a yielder in.. Or grow em out?
Doesn’t look like hardly any bud sites and they’re about 1m tall already ? Just wondering if you guys would bite the bullet and get rid?

I'd strap her down, tell her how it's gonna be from now on and see what bud she comes up with. But that all depends how much space you've got to work with, oh and how full the jars are.

I think deciding to pull a plant that hasn't gone hermie is a tough thing to do. It's emotionally tough as silly as that sounds, at least in my opinion. I know you care a lot about your girls. But you also seem to be a realist. I try to overcome my emotions and look at the situation from a mile above. That plant - let's be realistic. How many buds would you even get from her? Six? I don't see any bud sites, as you noted. She's taking up space, costing you time and money and attention, and the work involved to smoke what, a quarter ounce maybe? I'd pull her personally. I had to make such a decision with Sadie when she was unhealthy and in the scrog before they hit the screen. I got lucky with her, but regardless it was hard to pull her. When I tossed her outside I figured she was done and I wrote her off. But it was hard to do and that's the point. I feel the pain. But the flipside is, for example, you could probably have already harvested a couple ounces off an auto in that same space. Or have a photo that's humming like your others. Just my two cents. Pull her.

Space is the issue, never enough of it. I’m gonna get rid of one and see what I can do about teaching the others how to behave properly. A firm hand in a silk glove might work

Oh yeah.. the jars are lookin healthy still.. just swapped a 1/2 of critical for some liqueurice sherbet. Give it a go ay;(

At the end of the day they are alive, an it just don’t seem right to cull em coz they aren’t worthy yielders.. i don’t even like killing those horrible little fungus gnats.. I’ll think of something, maybe

Tell me about it, if they made it legal I wouldn't even have a bedroom, I'd turn it over to plants and sleep in the hallway, You wouldn't even be able to see the garden for plants. I'd be so happy until the novelty wore of, if it ever would.

Hope it’s a good’n for y’all
Fancied a bit of the organic side of things myself, watching all these sponsored diaries looking so good. Unfortunately, can’t get the Geo Flora Nutrient line here yet.. so I ordered something called Living soil which was delivered today
.Says it works with coir, just gotta double it up.
I’m expecting to need a bit of extra cal mag on the grow, but we shall see.

so... in the jar we go.

1 each of Pinkman Goo and Chiquita Banana Both fems from Weed Seed Express..will be soaking tonight in a weak h202 solution. Ready to go straight into the Root Riot cubes on the morrow..
I’ll be using coir in 5gal air pots.
I’ve been using bill284 ‘s coir/ bokashi/ frass/perlite mix for the last 2 grows.. so I’m gonna carry on,as I’m mightily impressed and I like the smell
Hopefully no adverse affects with more living growth tech added. We shall see.

You’ll be able to watch the tips fall off with the rest of the leaf is my bet
And seeeeds.. numnumnum.. half of them were bought a yr ago. However, I keep putting the new arrivals into the souvenir pots that I like to display them in.
tell you what though.. I almost feel compelled to keep buying the little charmers.
Gonna have to have a go at breeding some before they send me to ruin.

Bit of an update on how things are going in the big girl tent today.
First up...
MANTIS NUTRIENTS
DO-SI-DO’s. Born 03/05/2021.
DAY 38 ish
Lights 18/6
7gal air pot
Coir/ bokashi/ frass/perlite medium.
Mantis @ 5ml/ltr tap water
Cal mono 1ml/ltr
Mag mono 1ml/ltr
Hydroguard 0.5ml/ ltr
Ph 5.7
Ec 2.2
8ltr of water before run off.
Finally got a pistol showing on one of the Do’s. I was starting to think that I had fems.
Anyways.. she’s still looking alright as far as I can tell. Showing a little bit of something on the tips of the older sun leaves.. I’ll put a pic up once I’ve had a read about what it could be?
She’s had no training, alls I’ve done is take a few of the bottom nodes from each branch.
Been a bit of a whirligig up here for temps and Rh for the ladies, we’ll have to see what it brings if anything.
She’s standing tall at 23” from the top of the pot, Not sure when the stretch starts but I hope it’s soon and not tooo much.

in the pic is how I water the ladies..
Load 15ltr bottle with tap water and cal mag.
Then I add the water to the 10ltr sprayer with the nutes I’m using.. and then the fun starts.. round and round and round and round an roundanroundanround we go till run off. I’ll feed both mantis girls alternately 1.5ltr each to give the nuts a chance to reach on in there and drag some oxygen down with em. I try and keep to @Emilya ‘s watering advise as best I can.

This girl has had everything done the same as the Do’s girl, feed, light, conditions etc.
Haven’t grown any of these strains before. They’ve all been left to their own devises so far..as I was interested in seeing what they grow like without interference absolutely nothing to do with being a lazy bugger.
I should really bite the bullet with this girl, those 20 leaves or so she’s got are gonna have to start preying to the pot gods

Can’t do it though, have to ditch her sister Canna instead.

The Diesel ladies have been on Canna nutrients from day 1.
I stopped the nitrogen in their feed not so long ago.
Last stretch now.
Big bud@ 1ml/ltr
Bottanicare sweet raw @ 2ml/ltr
Mono cal 1ml/ltr
Mono Mag 1ml/ltr
This was the only Diesel that I topped and attempted to train.. Think I started too late as she developed a couple of tezzys more or less straight away, which prompted me to leave well alone from there in.
I’m wondering if the purple stems is a genetic thing, as there’s been no sign of any defs in the leaves to warrant any other concern.
Other than what you see now, which I think is perfectly normal at this stage anyway. She’s also eating herself up with the lack of N
