Go back and read Emily’as post on how to water a potted plant . To answer your question, I think you did this yourself. Your plants told you every other day was better of the two choices . Let your pots dry out. This is when they shine . Water absorption makes leaves droop and do all sorts of funny things. Even causes problems you might not have experienced....

cheers for the advise.. Its easy to get a little lost with all the conflicting views.
Almost everything you read and hear on coir is to water everyday, and don’t let it dry out.
So far in my limited experience I’ve noticed it doesn’t quite work with my set up.
I think one the main things I’ve taken in from Emilya’s post, about watering, was to look at your plants.. let them tell you what’s, what.
which is, I think.. is what your saying as well mate?

Added some co2 canisters and exhale bags.

Cana boost. 1.5ml/ltr
Cal mag. 1.5ml/ltr
Hydroguard. 1ml/ltr
6ltr each plant.
Ec. 1.9
Ph. 5.6

not sure how far on they should be at this point. They’re showing a few pistols now.

They’re stretching but not massively.
They’re quite squat, with all the bending down of the branches. Think maybe 3/5 inch of growth since the flip.. could be more.
Unfortunately I didn’t get a measurement.

They’re about 18” from the top of the pot at the highest Point is what I recon, just looking at it.
.. I’ll get a measure on them tomorrow .

I was looking for some info on pink stalks/leaf stems and came across a post you where following (not stalking you I promise) @HiighTide
said that he had a good response using fish, blood and bone for the same prob.
My question is.( may be a daft one)Is there a cut off for using this?
I wouldn’t want my bud smelling of any of those ingredients come harvest

Soo... after a little further reading, turns out pink stems can be ok. It can also mean you could have a light, humidity,temp, bugs, watering , ph or nut problem.. narrows it down a bit

my first thought is to throw some more cal mag in? See what happens..
I did have a dose of fungus gnats on some of the last autos. Although I haven’t seen anything flying around for a while.
Temp could easily be the problem, as aforementioned (bill284) evening temps been dropping to 12c/15c
Humidity 55/60%..
I’ll keep an eye on it, over the next couple of days. But any advise always very welcome.

Cooler darkness temps bring out purps in most buds. It can also cause color change in stems. But more importantly those cool temps will slow growth.
I had the exact problem in my flower room this run. The duct blowing warm air in got blocked and I wasn't paying close attention to my sensor. Get those temps up and your growth will improve.

Good man.. I put a second little heater in, but still only got me up to 15c last night..
I’ll see what I can do today to sort it out.

Critical 1 has got a bit of yellowing going on on the lower leaves(pic below. ) Think (hoping)down to my watering..been a little drier since the extra heaters ,plus I got distracted last night and didn’t finish watering (wtf only 2 plants).
Also, I’m thinking it looks all a bit congested in there..Would it be ok to cut any back to make a bit of space at this point?

That girl does look a little congested. At about the 12-14 day point I lollipop pop everything below the level of light penatration. Also you have a discoloration no your leaves. Have you been feeding according to the chart at proper strength?

Its a touch difficult to tell from blurple pic. But slight lightness of color generally indicates being hungry, try feeding according to the chart at recommended amounts. Its not a disaster if you burn the tips a bit see how she responds to an increase in nutrition.
How are things going with your scrog, are you comfortable with its hight and usage, or do you want a little help there also.
