I usually only til the two tallest branches and then once they are all closer to the same height I super crop. Really like the way super cropping stacks the bud sites.

I’m trying to figure out if I will do any training/topping/super cropping with my new light. I usually grow single cola tree’s. I will be going down to four plants instead of five but quantity of bud isn’t a problem, so I’m undecided.

Does the breeder have any recommendations? Some will say how their strains respond to training and pruning.

I have plenty of veg time for my little ones since the flower tent won’t clear out for a while so I’m gonna do a lot of what I did to the group that’s now flowering. Really like super cropping a lot. If I hadn’t done the LST, topping and super cropping my hybrids would have kissed the lights a long time ago, probably the two indica dominant strains as well.

Ha ha I better get new soil tomorrow because the little ones are going to need more space soon. I just flushed them Saturday and they need water again. That’s cool cause it gives me a chance to finish bringing the ec of the soil down some more. Still don’t understand why that seed starter is so hot, but I won’t make that mistake again.

Good grief. Watered them with 350 ppm of grow formula and the runoff started at 800 ppm. This is after knocking them down to the 500 range Saturday. Seriously, fuck this seed starter

Tomorrow I’m gonna pick up some sunshine mix #4 for when transplant time comes. Ha ha I already have the dolomite lime. Once I get them into that soil I’ll be liquid feeding so I know what’s in the root zone and the ph of it.

Hey guys. Curious about your thoughts on these pics of my gorilla zkittles clone. Is it me or are those trichs on the leaves?

You can get trichs on some of the larger fans up top but it stops at a certain point. I'm not sure if those are trichs though. I don't think they are eggs either but it looks more like that than trichs. Maybe some pics from a different angle of the whole leaf too.
The smaller leaves will have the trichs, hence the name sugar leaves. Stuff you probably know already.

Put it under a scope. That'll tell ya. I think they are triches. I've scoped early flower leaf and seen them. Not just sugar leaf but the large ones too.

Here we go. Shame on me for being a typical stoner. I should have mentioned the clones were taken when the plants were in transition when I took the cuttings. Also, the gorilla zkittles plant I took the clone from is quickly becoming one frosty bitch ( post picks tomorrow morning). They are looking like trichs...leftover from when she transition? I dunno

Short update on these three. They are just about ready to get out of their 1L pots. A full week later than my last group but shit got off to a rough start, fuck it I’m on it now. Going to bumper this group so when I transplant this weekend they will get squeezed into the flowering tent. Need space in the 4x4 and I’ll explain that in the next post.

And onto C99/Gorilla Zkittles/ Franco’s lemon cheese. These three are in for a long veg to get them big. C-99 is only on day 12 so she will get plenty of time to fill out and mature. The breeder says she has potential to yield as much as 800g per sqm ( not that I expect that lol) Which is along the lines of Franco as well. So the idea is to let all three veg in the 4x4 until all the plants in the 4x8 are finished...including the other three little ones that will go to flowering this weekend after transplant. Looking for three big bushes from those three when they eventually get to flowering...I’ll get them three to fill out that tent

Thank you sir! Right around the time I got the clones started and the seedlings, a migraine hit me for two weeks straight so I did well just keeping things afloat. All my plants suffered from drying back too much a few times because I just didn’t have the energy or give a shit at the time.

I think we all felt like that at one time or another for any variety of reasons. My last grow was a lot like that. I just didn't give a shit, but it didn't do me any good. I wasn't suffering as much as I was in a funk. But this round it's nothing but positivity.

They look great. It's typical to see that with a clone taken in flower. You'll see a lot more if you snag them at 21days...lol.

I see it. To bad the power supply can't be removed (or can it on some models) and placed outside the tent. That would make temp control a breeze. Thanks for posting.

You know I like my CMH HID lighting but I have to admit that the led lighting puts out considerably less heat. I might end up going back to the 250w led veg light if I can’t find a remote horizontal hood for my 315w cmh ballast. The big ass sunsystem vertical hood I’m using traps too much heat under it.
