Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

I started my sponsored Seedsman grow of their Peyote Wi-Fi strain and would love all of you to pop in if you find some time. Most of you guys all have more experience growing then I do and I might need some suggestions from time to time. If you've grown the Peyote Wi-Fi and suggestions or helpful tips are welcomed and appreciated.

Quick update on the @Rifleman Sour Foot Cheese cross. I measured her height today at 18" above the soil. She has put out a few branches down at the bottom but it's looking like it's just going to be one big cola. Sorry for the crappy photos. I am in a lazy mood today.

Here is my current Dark Devil auto at 23 days post sprout. I've had larger, but I've also had smaller at this age. This is the first in my homemade organic soil so I do not know what to expect.

@TorturedSoul I had a germination problem last year. Never figured out why. Every where else my beans were cracking just fine. :hmmmm: Since getting rid of my console tv I have yet to find a place the perfect temp for cracking them open. I will be doing the peroxide trick this year... just in case.

@beez0404 kicking it ! The emailed photo was killer. Beautiful color to her.

@nivek :ciao: wassup ?

I am still trapped in a home renovation/repair that has stalled my garden. Pissed isn't the word for it.
Reckon I'll burn one and try to forget about the currency hemmorage and lack of a garden.
:lot-o-toke:

I'm going to dedicate my refrigerator's butter compartment to seed storage. I think the multiple extreme temperature cycles have hurt my viability rates. Might have allowed them to dry/dehydrate, too, IDK.

Gather round friends. Bring your dogs. Holler at the kids and tell your Mom an 'em to hush up and listen close. Can you hear it ? No ? It's on the wind.... try harder. There ya go, that's it.

The Roost is nearing opening day 2019 ! :theband::yahoo::high-five::woohoo::headbanger::goof::rofl:

Monday evening the storage barn will begin puking it's contents out into the the farmhouse. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4x4 fully set up and ready for action by the end of next week.
:passitleft:

It's about dang time! I'll bet you're chomping at the bit. So what is going to be in your lineup for the first round back?

Since I'm in a hurry for a harvest the 4x4 will have an autoflower crop. DDA will be in one bucket, a couple buckets will have a special cross(quarter pounder auto x I forget :laughtwo:) from another 420 member that's arriving mid week....;) I smoked some of it on a visit South and it was damn good grass.
And I've not nailed down what will be in the 4th bucket yet. Possibly something from Mephisto that I haven't grown. All under 600w of HPS.

I'm thinking the 5x10 will go up two to three weeks later with 400w of 3500K COBs shining down on my first photo plants in a couple of years..........True OG by Elemental Seeds. o_O

Spread the word, Lucas McCain is about to give another "If this idiot can do it, so can you" workshop on DWC. So easy even a Boomer can do it.:rofl::rofl:

Get errrrrrrr DONE!!!!

Today is sprout + 64 days for the Sour Foot Cheese auto plant. Her fragrance is very subtle at this point. She is starting to really pack on the trichromes. Going to be a pain to trim as she has lots of leaves. Here is a quick pic I took from about midway up the main cola. Excellent resin production.

I'm starting my first Dwc grow soon got the seeds dropped just waiting for them to make an appearance. Would really like to follow along on your journal and learn all I can.

Thought I would share a few photos of a brand new Lucas McCain cross. I was given just one seed of this strain to try out. It's call Sour Foot Cheese auto and in these photos she is at sprout + 65 days. She isn't very tall, and she didn't put out much in the way of side branches, but she is frosty as all get out. I'm thinking maybe 15-20 days to go and I'll harvest her. First time growing the strain so it's a wait and see game.

'at's da plan Chris. SOON ! :high-five:

No worries, anyone here who isn't a little crispy around the edges must be an imposter.

:lot-o-toke: ....er, not me. Nope not the least little bit. :laughtwo:

@N420 glad to have you aboard. Sorry it's taken this long to get going. If you've already got your's going drop a link to it here and I'll sub up. I'm always up for another DWC thread.

<snipped the pretty pictures>
Consider yourself lucky to get that one bean. After smoking all of that harvest there were very few of those produced. Like hundreds less than the other strains on that run. Less than a couple dozen. I would guess the distributor has more of them than I ended up with.

As far as I know you are the only person to grow one yet. Do it proud. :passitleft:

I've been away for a little and see i have returned at just the right time. Good to see you again, sirrah. Hope the fates have been being kind.

I've been away di<*ing around myself. Barely stopping in long enough to keep from having the joint shut down. :laughtwo: "just the right time".....Indeed ! My next post will explain just how right you are my friend.

Nothing like getting a tent set up to get the blood flowing. :headbanger:

The 4x4 is up, lit by the 600w HPS, and four buckets are bubbling away the chlorine. All instruments are calibrated, and needed supplies laid in. The only thing missing are the seeds, which I will pick up tomorrow. :woohoo:

Remember "HEE HAW"? "Hey Grandpa, what's for supper? " Well let me tell you what's on the menu this time through The Roost. After much consideration, debate, second questioning, desperation, and all the other baggage that comes with my zodiac sign, the decision is made.

DDA... One of my own Dark Devil Auto S1 seeds made way back in (?)2015.
QPT... Quarter Pounder Auto x Tangerine Dream Auto
QPS... Quarter Pounder Auto x Stardawg Auto
QPG... Quarter Pounder Auto x Gorilla Glue Auto

The QP crosses were bred by another :420:member that I will not name so as to save them the flood of requests to violate Federal Law that inevitably follow. Don't ask me how I know. :(

I can say I have smoked some of the QPG and it was some squinty eyed, laughing, make you forget what you were saying kinda shit. o_O One bowl and I was toasted. Granted that was after a 48hr break to reset my extremely high tolerance, but I know my ECS, it wrecked me. :roorrip: I really look forward to growing all three of these, and showing the breeder what they will do in DWC.

So that's it. Nothing to show/tell until there are sprouts or I set up the 5x10. Anybody have thoughts about the line up? Experience with the crosses or the component plants? Wake up those old folks in the back, since I'm not going to do a tutorial this grow I will be indulging y'all with stories, lies, and bullshit from the rural hills of BFE America and I need a party atmosphere to get rolling.

Holler at y'all later. :peace:

I would appreciate that
Skip to the very end that's where the Dwc grow will be. The seedlings have all popped out of the rapid rooter's but I have not put them in the buckets yet.

Get those girls in their buckets. They want to put down roots and grow into trees. :yahoo:

It's done. Seeds have been placed in the Rapid Rooters and planted in the hydroton. The 600w is keeping the tent in the upper 80s without an extraction fan. I'm betting on the rooting plugs and ambient temps to do the germination work. Hopefully there will be four sprouts by Sunday morning at the latest... :snowboating:
