Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving ! Guts full, fat and happy, everyone must still be sleeping it off. :laugh:

It's Tuesday so it's time for some photos. The Grape Crinkle is on Day 9 since sprouting. :eek::eek: WTF ! The last/only time I've *tried* to grow it before was in 1/4" Rockwool cubes and I was graced with a beautiful frosty 3" plant. Fingers crossed please that it takes off soon.

The rest of the garden is on Day 64. They were watered yesterday, and given a good hairy eyeball look too. The SSDC 2 & 3 will be ready once they are dry again. I figure next week, between Mon and Fri. :p The green pheno SSDC and the Sour Crack might go another week past that.

Nuff said, have a look. ;)

Nope.....if she isn't up and running when I chop these others (soonish), i will drop something else and reverse it. Time is tight this season, I'm going to try and squeeze in 3 grows. :cool:
 
Day 12 does not bode well for the Grape Crinkle. o_O Second disappointment from this strain. Grrrrr. Dropped a Northern Cheese Haze into germination to replace it.

Day 67 on the rest. Harvest is not far off. Amber on the two dark SSDC and mostly cloudy on the other two girls. :passitleft:

Pity that little thing didn’t take off. Was that your last grape crinkle seed? I grew out Northern Cheese Haze a couple times. Wonderful looking plant, great some, and it’s easy on the carbon filter. Unless you start feeling on the leaves and stems, then she lets of her vapors Happy Friday Rifleman and all!

I've got three left. They'll still be there after I've grown everything else. :D How much did the Cheese Haze stretch on you ?

This has set my plans for a seed run and an overlapping dwc grow back by three weeks. I'm tempted to start four buckets in about two weeks, and just use the one NCH for pollinating them all. I'm sure I've got some manbearalienpig, sour crack, and a couple others I can cross it with. :hmmmm:

Re the stretch on NCH, I grew her in a 5 gallon fabric pot. She was about 12" or so and was just shy of 36" after the stretch. Ill see if I can dig up a pic or two....

Day 71 and there have been a couple of changes. #2 & 3 have been chopped. 243g and 217g wet respectively. The rest will come down soon and buckets will replace the ProMix. It was an easy grow but I miss the size of my hydro harvests. :D

Yes it is a strain worthy of your best efforts man. I’m curious if the soil grow will hit you in the taste or smell department.

Did you chop today then? I am curious because I let my SSDC pheno run to 77 days and it was perfect. Mine was a mirror image of the Sour Crack, I imagine you have seen a few different phenos.

I was wondering the same thing. I still have a jar of mixed DDA & SSDC grown in hempy pots that I'm waiting to sample for the same reason. :drool:

They were yesterday. Today the Sour Crack and the green pheno SSDC were chopped. :cool:
 
All four of the Fall 2018 plants have been chopped for a wet weight of 804g. No need to cry for their passing as the circle of life continues. The Mephisto Northern Cheese Haze sprouted in ProMix today. :yahoo:

The tent has been turned and cleaned. The buckets are waiting. :high-five: If the plan comes together I will be reversing the NCH and pollinating itself and four other Mephisto strains. Hang on for seed-a-palooza 2019 ! :ganjamon:
 
Nice Rifleman! Looking forward to the reversal! I hope to do a little playing with seed making in 2019 so ill be learning from you.
