Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Is that 7 plants in about 1ft x 1.5ft space?
For the record... Tead recommends you water your plants.

It **was**, not anymore. The DDA was harvested after that photo. Final trim and bagging today. Yield was a paltry 9g dry.

The rest of the girls are in 2 qt containers. I'm weighing them so I know when to water. The DDA and mx5 never needed water in the wastebasket. It started with around 2.5 gallons in it, and it's still holding on to some of it. :)

You go baby! I wonder how the tiny one will smoke. Time will tell.

I couldn't let you and Sue have all the hempy fun. :) 6g of osmo+ in each container, half in the bottom inch, the rest spread through. 2 to 1 perlite to vermiculite.

I am noticing the SSDC are tending to be difficult to germinate, and when they do sprout they have to fight for the leaves to emerge. Shells hanging on, or if it does fall off there is a spot or membrane holding the leaves together.

I'm thinking too much Rhinoskin during production. The current seed run is sans the Rhino. :)

hello buddy

long time no speakith

lookin great

Hey! Thanks! :ciao: I'm not around nearly as much as in the past. Probably even less now that Spring is upon us :yahoo: I hope your world is green as can be. :passitleft:

The SSDC genetics seem to be giving you the virtual finger.... I just had 2 pop up perfectly with no hats and healthy new leaves. 4 days in wet perlite. Hell, I even knocked one over and spilled out the perlite.... thought the seed went too, but left it just in case. They were holding little signs that said "We like Tead's shed better than Rifleman's hooch!". One is destined for a double height outdoor hempy.

:rofl::rofl: That's alright, I'm getting the hang of it. Two of the 2qt hempys in the last photo are SSDC. Last evening I put another SSDC in a larger hempy, a 12 inch 5 qt container. 14grams of Osmo+ with 11 of that in the lower third.

BTW, rumor is there will be more SSDC floating around soon.

Great rumors. Perhaps Tead will dust of his fishing rod and see what's floating downstream these days.

I have yet to see an unchallenged outdoor hempy grow. Between the weather and photo's light issues, every grow has had issues. I really hope to pull off a couple of autos before the temps get too crazy. I recon things put in now will finish around june or early july, so they could get warm towards the end of the grow, but daily waterings and a touch of shade can really prolong the season for me.

MX5 got the chop today. Well, not really a chop, more like just pulled up. Finally the 7 gallon waste basket is out of the way. :yahoo:

She looks like a POTM winner to me.

Way back in January 2016 I received my prize packages for my POTM win. Back then Sierra Natural Science was a sponsor and gave out a large assortment of their products. Today i finally used one of them... SNS 244C.

FML... powdery mildew. :(:( Anyone have any other cures, suggestions, or wise cracks ? :Namaste:

How 'bout sympathy? I just cut an outdoor hempy Northern Lights re-veg for exactly the same reasons.
I had some of that SNS stuff too, but it hit pretty fast and wasn't really a plant I was concerned about.

Day 70 and one plant has .....had it bad , and a small amount on the other three. I did a major defol. Everything that was affected and any leaf that caused a disruption of airflow. To put it crudely, I chopped the shit out of them. :( Hosed them down with the SNS244C and turned the lights off. Circulation and extraction fans on max settings for the duration.

Also have a baby Mephisto Sour Crack in the largest hempy that was supposed to have a SSDC but got spilled all over the place due to my clumsiness.

Time will tell. :Namaste:

Powdery mildew...... spray the plant generously with skim milk. You don't need the fat, and it won't smell without it. What it will do is stop the powdery mildew in its tracks. Repeat every week until harvest and wash the buds with a dilution of H2O2 when you do.

It works. I can testify to that myself.

Check out Flying Skull's PM80. Good stuff. "May be used on growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest."

Thank y'all. I'll add both of those to my notebook of canna facts. :) I gave them all the hairy eyeball this morning and it appears I cut away all of it. I'll continue with the SNS244C I've got mixed up and keep watch. What have I got but time.

You'll get a chuckle... the most lost little seedling ever.... SSDC just starting off in a 5gal.

She'll go outside sometime during her teen years.

Closer to 7.5 gallons where you're at. How much osmo ? Or are you going another route ?

60g Osmo+. Top 1/4 peppered very lightly.

Hmmmm... 7.5 you say... .hmmmm.... perhaps a miscalculation is afoot. Tead's gonna have to test it with a gallon jug and a 5gal bucket. I might see 6, but I have a hard time imagining 7.5. Thanks for the words.... I'll get to the hart of the issue. I'm not too worried... a touch underfed is usually bettah anyway.
