Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Awwww, :bigblush: It's not all fun and games having this much room guys. Light gets lost around the edges. Plants tend to spread more which means a ceiling full of yoyo hangers. Hell fire 'fore long the plants have taken over, start creeping out at night raiding the fridge, drinking the CEO's beer, buying dirty movies in the middle of the night. Scary it gets, aint kidding. But choking four into the 4x4 controls the spread and keeps them from roaming the halls.:rofl:

Boo friggin hoo baby. I should have such issues! We all should have such issues!

Honestly tho... as I wait for legalization to roll it's way at glacial rates across the country, Tead dreams of dealing with the issues of a larger grow. There are just so many abandoned and blighted properties around the city that would make great little stealth grow rooms. One could put a bunch of them together and spend one's days visiting them doing gardening tasks. Been thinking about it alot lately. One human could handle 2 or 3 houses/day.
Man.... itchy.... Tead's got him the expansion itch.
Fun to dream. Perhaps the next administration will cause forward movement rather than the current backslide. So frigging glacially slow tho.... killin me.

I've watched many tax auctions here Tead. The thought of becoming a landlord, and absentee grower has been strong for a while. Reckon I'd best just save my money. I might want a new truck one day. ;)

Another harvest and musical chairs at The Roost folks. A couple of posts back I shared my little mutant with no leaves. Well I decided to pull her and put her in the bonsai garden I have going in the hempy. Wait, there's no room you say ! :hmmm: No worries, I harvested my miniature DDA. Day 96, never watered since being planted... 10g wet.:rofl: Plenty of room in there with the 41 day old DDA that I'm reversing, and it hasn't been watered since being transplanted either.

Since I just couldn't stand to run another empty bucket, I cracked my last factory bought Sweet Seeds bean from the mystery pack. When she pops up she'll be labeled MX5.1 :)

3g dry from the hempy DDA.:rofl: The waste basket is way too large.

IDK what happened but it looks like the HPS is only going to have the three mystery plants under it. Oh well, at least I'll save 25% of my effort, nutrients, and time in the 4x4. ;)

Days 19 to 25 for MX 1-4. Thought I'd drop a photo of each this morning. I have a feeling MX1 is going to be a DDA. Why ? Look at the leaves curling already... only at 24ml AN per 4 gallons too. Hmmmmm.

MX1, day 25

MX2, day 24

MX3, day 24

MX4, day 19

Mystery pack indeed. The nitrogen hating MX1 is a dark mystery. Last evening (day 26) I thought she looked different. I peek under her skirt and wow. Deep purple calyxes. Black almost. She's only 6.5 inches tall too. These are two year old seeds from Sweet Seeds. Anyone have a guess at which strain it is ?

I finally got a 10 yr old to show me where the camera settings are in my phone. :geek: The result is the ability to customize the white balance to 3500k and... well, better photos. :) Now you can see what I was talking about with MX1.

Too bad there's not a blurple balance. I'd prefer to never see another pic taken under those lights.

I agree. I always took them out of the tent, or waited until the lights went out before taking photos. It amazes me that people will post them in the FAQ forum and expect an accurate diagnosis. <smh>

Its been a few days since y'all saw the entire line up, and I know Sue digs seeing what goes on it other's gardens, so today I've got a treat for you. Photos of everyone! :)

MX1, she's been in a bucket of 6.0pH water only for eight days now trying to flush some of her nitrogen.

MX2

MX3

MX4

MX5, pulled from a bucket due to being stem only, no leaves. Hasnt been watered since being placed in the bonsai waste basket.

DDA2, never watered since transplant.

The big tent with the 3500k COBs.

MX6 (6 thu 8 under 600w HPS)

MX7

MX8, a slow starter. 18 days before roots found their way out of the basket and into the solution. <shrug>

Don't forget folks, all my photos are linked to larger versions. If you've got eyes like mine you'll appreciate it. :biglaugh:

.........Your grow looks great, Rifleman. So much variety in those tents.

Thanks Rider. :) It's definitely a different direction for me. It's getting close to the fun part, big buds ! I went through the larger girls this morning and trimmed away any leaf shading a bud site. The entire top halves of mx 2 & 3 are open now and with two COBs each I expect some heavy branches. :shhh:

Heya Rifle! Happy Thaturday (Thursday/Saturday) Everything is looking great! When will you wrap it up for the season buddy? :thumb:

Hey Scottay. :) I'm flying blind on these man. Mystery beans. :goof: But *if* everything goes as planned, giving them around 90 days each, I should have empty tents by mid April. DWC-wise that is. ;) I'm about to drop some DDA and SSDC in small container hempys. Don't get me wrong, the giant waste basket has been a lazy grower's dream. Planted and never watered. But I wasn't satisfied with the results. I'm going to give it another try before I call it quits this year. Photos soon. :passitleft:

Never satisfied with well enough, humans continue to destroy what they've built in search of better.

I'll be back around after Rob & the 420 staff fix this mess. And if it stays like this I reckon I'm out. If I wanted difficult to navigate, post, and follow, I would have made my home somewhere else on the canna-web.
