Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Don't forget felon! Mr. Felony Falls.... damn bustin hooligan!

Don't remind me. I'm waiting on the day someone figures out birds carried crappie and bluegill, and dropped them in my creek. :shhh:

Man... I gotta start doin that. So lazy.
Ur shit's looking Jungle-riffic man. Awesome!

My buckets are cursed. I never get four perfect 38" plants. It's always a fight with one or two trees. You know what they say though: "It's not a party until the cops have been called...twice." So I just break out a bit of domestic violence and bend their heads around. They ain't got no cell phone and can't run away, nothing to do but bend to my will. I did top the girls in the small tent, a first for me. It's time to learn a new skill, or spend more time in the garden. I really am tired of anything over 4 ft. (PITA)

That's funny man! You're obviously a way more experienced grower than I am. If we could change places, you'd have all the vertically challenged plants you could handle lol. I don't think I've had a plant grow over 48". Hell 36" would be a big plant in my world. I usually do supercrop and LST though. Not big on topping, but I might need to learn soon. Gonna try my hand at cloning soon.

Remember when hand trellice without the need of a trellice by using lst was cool even at 4 ft lol.

When I first started no matter how I bent and lst it would always be nearly as tall as me with little bud so funny

You got a blizzard of buds going on in there Lucas. :high-five: Damn, turn around and they're sneaking up on harvest. :thedoubletake: Why is it that everyone else's gardens seem to mature faster than our own? :laughtwo:

The birds don't carry the fish, they shit out the eggs while they're flying over. Fish themselves have been picked up out of the waters by funnels and lifted to the upper clouds to be dropped further down the line, but that's a really rare event, and I doubt any bird was willing to give up its fish dinner to help stock the pond. :battingeyelashes:

Experienced... It's all luck Arch, well that and DWC. :)

I bet you had some serious Sativa genetics if they were tall and small buds. Or needed more light. :) I really strive to be a lazy grower and let them do what they do naturally, but even my DDA were 3ft and taller. I'm telling y'all, my buckets are cursed.... Or maybe I met someone down at the crossroads like old Robert Johnson did, and all my questions were answered. ;)

That's how fish get into land locked ponds and lakes

Yep, my damn story and I'm sticking to it. :laughtwo:

Susan ! :byebye: :passitleft: I'm hoping for a late December harvest. I cut the branch from MBAP2 that I had been spraying. Can't smoke it, and it was a failure. Trying again in the 4x4 with the Stilton Specials. End of January harvest for them.

I'm so glad I got an eyeball on your COBs. I'm loving mine ! Can't wait to see how the nugs turn out, I'm betting rock hard. :) BTW, its turned cold here. When we all going to a beach somwwhere ?:ganjamon:

Good Afternoon my 420 family. :byebye: A brief update for y'all. Day 53 on the MBAP. Water change this morning and the only thing of note is the root balls. It's very obvious that the AN plants have the larger roots. Almost double the size of the Remo plants. :hmmmm:

Day 27 for the Stilton Special plants in the 4x4. I've been preoccupied and almost forgot about them. They've been on auto pilot since I topped them on Day 14. As a matter of fact today was their first water change. They started on Day 1 with just 15ml each AN m,g,b into 4 gallons and haven't had any nutrients since, only plain water. :yikes: Data from the water change below.

Peace :Namaste:

My my They are certainly bushy little girls... Well, not so little girls. Beautiful as always, sir.
Im kinda missing the dwc life but i have to say, im pretty happy with my hempy results, and it will hold me over until we own our property and i can have pumps buzzing up a storm again.

Okay...so what does that mean exactly? Assuming two plants are the same size and vigor, if the AN plant has twice the root ball, on first look it would seem the AN is twice as good.

But if two plants display equal size and vigor, and one has half the root mass, perhaps that shows the Remo nutes are twice as effective?

Plants grow roots in response to their needs, right? Or do some strains develop larger balls than others?

It's awkward asking another guy about ball size but the core question stands.

Peace, Hyena

They are bushy. :) Growing up in the 70s I like that. Just now starting to stretch, 1 & 2 are 12.5" and #3 is 7.5" DWC is addictive to me. Once you get it dialed in and start getting those big harvests it is it's own reward. ;)

Balls... Balls ! :goof: The question will have to wait until the first of the year. The proof as they say, is in the harvest. :) It just surprised me there was so much difference between the two.

Howdy, Rifleman. Two questions. Back in April you were going to dump the AN line in favor of the Remo because of the salt buildup. What changed your mind? And the other question is:
When did you start talking so loudly? :)

I haven't made up my mind yet Rider. I still have left over AN and Remo so I'm doing another side by side test to help decide. Harvest will be the deciding factor I reckon. Talking loudly? :biglaugh: Man I've been doing that since I went perpetual and decided to try and leave a paper trail a beginning grower could follow into DWC. That and I refuse to squint to see my own journal. :)

Hah! Very nice!
My sweetie is a type1 diabetic. There are many 'symptoms' of the affliction, not all of them bad. She's kinda hairless everywhere but her head. Never shaves her legs, pits, or 'bits'. Serious bonus action for Tead!

Happy for the Teadster, but it ain't my cup of jollies. ;)

The better question... when the hell did my eyesight get so crappy that I appreciate his larger text size?!?!

:rofl: Busted! Size=3 makes it so much easier for me too. Old age, it ain't for the weak.

You ever find yourself without your cheaters so you take a pic of small text with your phone so you can blow it up big enough to read it? Yeah... me neither. LMAO. Had to do that with a jar of Great White yesterday. Getting old sucks but I s'pose it's better than the alternative.

Yes... and how dare you me!!! Senility has it's benefits.

There you go appropriating my culture. :) Happens on a daily basis.

Senility, the life of a chicken. Wake up in a different world every day. Hmmmm, did we used to work together ?
