Thanks! And to answer your question - during the summer I like to transplant into my 5-7 gallon pots as soon as the seedling is basically established. As jaga mentioned earlier in the thread, you don't want the initial root to hit the bottom too quickly, unrestricted growth for the initial root seems to give me the best fresh vegetative growth. I also find it to work perfectly to plant my seeds sometimes directly into their final pot.

Just my two cents but as far as moon and total dark not existing out doors. It is a constant the plant accepts or is conditioned to from the start. Why do indoor growers say it is so "critical" to set a lights on and off time and to maintain it though the whole life cycle. Plus I was told thirty some years ago that the seed you grow today will take two years to reach it full potential. If you buy a seed, where it started from as far as dirt, climate, how it received it critical elements to survive is going to be total different from what you apply. What and where the Mom was doing set the stage for that seed. So it takes that time to alter the "source code" so-to-say and adjust to the difference in the building blocks it has been provided.
With indoor there is a regiment set, a list of laws almost, that most be enforced. The penalty is shit plants, just go to these forums for proof. Outdoors has main ingredients and necessity's, flexibility and as where indoors it is a mistake. Outdoors is EVOLUTION!! and a happier out come. I have had it rain for 6 days and had to wait 3 more days to see the sun. Imagine over doing your hydro solution a bit to hot or PH to high and cut the watts from 1500 to 200 for 7 to 9 days. Indoor plants lost the ability`s that outdoor Maintains and builds. It is a different code of ethics and principles, like plowing a wave on a 10' foot long board over a 5' 8" slap stick, apples a oranges so to say. Just a tid bit of info...Peace.....

I've been puffing the cured "Sour Apple" -- best tasting and smoking marijuana I've ever grown,
That's a bold statement Lester. Now I have to try Sour Apple.

That's a bold statement Lester. Now I have to try Sour Apple.
I admit, it came from a "Mystery Sativa" batch of seeds, I have came across a lot of strains and never have I had a bud smell exactly like Sour Apple (candy) with an undertone of skunk. A true diamond in the rough, since the strain reviews on the internet combined with the fact it actually smells like exactly like candy Sour Apple, hard to explain to you guys over the internet, that's why I wish could give everyone a nug of it! It is definitely a kush from how small all the nugs came in, it is by far on par with being some of the best marijuana I've ever had (in part because I grew it, but hey) I will be lucky as hell to come across it again in the future. I love it so much. It makes me feel insanely Euphoric and I cannot even explain how good it makes me feel.
YUM! Sounds delicious, I've never tried it before. I do however LOVE Sour Skies!!! I'll have to keep my eye out for it.
:Namaste:

Please do!! :)

Here is an excerpt from a review on it "Needless to say, Sour Apple was a very interesting strain to review. It had all the attributes of Sour Diesel with a much more fruity aroma that smells and tastes exactly like sour apple.
The effects begin very energetic and is an instant head-rush like any normal Sour Diesel smoke session. However, Sour Apple has a much more potent body high than you may be used to from Sour Diesel. The genetics include Pure Kush, which makes the high full-bodied and extremely noticeable for even the most experienced weed connoisseurs"

I can only speculate, but there aren't many strains that smell exactly like sour candy apple, I never even knew it was an actual strain, that was literally a name I gave that bud to represent exactly what it smells like. I'm not just hyping up a random bud, I have never had anything like it. I agree with every single aspect of the reviewers words.

"Sour Apple" Loved her to death!!

You know, I really have no idea where it came from. The best I could do is to link you to a reliable breeder who grow claims to have this specific genetic hybrid, and you (or someone) would be able to compare the end products at best. I'm still at the "diamond in the rough stages...
So beautiful! :dreamy:
Thank you Pinky!:thanks:

OK Guys, one of these pictures came in inverted or such, I actually was on the desktop and inverted it to each actual possible position and uploaded to see what it would do. For some reason, it would not recognize this specific picture as being the proper orientation, so forgive me! :( Common theme for a RL thread I suppose....

Anyway, we have just some regular documentation photos, as well as what I originally called the "Cotton Candy"; strain however it most resembles what is known as the "Catpiss" strain, a slight sour musty smell with a hind of a sugar fruit -- it is a potent puff, and the ultimate creeper in my opinion, the stuff is some of the smoothest puff, the thing is, with such a smooth puff, you think it does nothing, however, wait 15-20 minutes and you are blasted, worthless. Oh yeah and for the original topic of the thread, lol, the KC-45's are going well, although I have some labeled pictures to show what a overwatered vs underwatered seedling should look like (sorry for th inversion)

What an over-watered seedling looks like

The candy (what I called Cotton Candy and what I think is "Catpiss" a trainwreck relative FOR SURE

With seedlings I am starting in REAL small bits of soil, because so much harder to overwater as soil dries out much quicker with high surface:volume ratio. But then the tap root runs into bottom sooner so give/take as usual.

Healthy seedlings though RL, How big you grow them till they go to the great out doors?

Thanks! I bring them in/outside everyday for some nice Sunshine, but because they are so small right now I am always watching them.
At some point, once we take care of tree trimming and roofers, they'll be big enough I can just cut them loose without having to worry too much. :Namaste:

Here are some pure documentation style pictures of the current situation:

I just like taking pictures, as most of you probably know by now, my journals tend to get so filled up, it is hard to actually go through and read the entire thing by the time it's said and done!
