Relaxed's Outdoor Medical Grow - 2015

Hey Brotha Gratz on the buds they look great and Plants looking top shape as usual :thumb:

Hey GT, I was wondering how long do you usually dry your bud before going to cure? I keep hearing people say they dry for 5, 6 or more days, but mine are usually crispy in about 4 days (I use a climate controlled closet with a circulating fan) and I jar them up with a Boveda 62 for a long cure. Reason I ask, is those Swiss buds look good to go and I know you harvested only a few days ago.

It usually takes about 3 days for my flowers to become dry enough to bag/jar, depending on the weather. :thumb:

Alrighty here are a few pics of some things. Swiss Cheese beast is up next on the harvest line. She just wants to keep on bulking up and putting on weight. Really flexing her muscles. What an incredibly high yielding plant. This is the clone that when I fimmed it, it grew back with 6 tops instead of just 2. (3 per top). Insane growth rate, unfortunately my last clone of Swiss Cheese is deciding to flower so oh well. Plenty of other strains to grow. Okay here are the pics of her, I may pull her any time now or give it a couple more days. Depends on my mood. :volcano-smiley:

A few more pics to cap that one off. I decided to chop it down after I noticed some spider mite damage on the leaves. The beast was washed with warm solution of SNS-311 (natural surface wash) and then colder plain water. They needed that as we have had no rain for quite a while. The buds came out just great and I'm stoked to see what these "monster" colas reduce down to. Looks like I'll get 2-3 ounces off it. What a great specimen :circle-of-love:

In the drying rack I only took a picture of a portion of what's drying. Great batch, cloning that lady proved to be well worth it. Sometimes they just grow on ya ;) :volcano-smiley:

Congrats on the chops Lest, death to the mites.

Thanks BAR! It was time for her to come down and replenish my med stock :circle-of-love: Excited to see how these next few plants come out, hopefully I can get the seedlings to explode with growth. Been dealing with fungus gnats, so might need to take action on them if it gets any worse. :cheertwo:
Wow, those colas look awesome! We need to have smell-a-vision, scratch-and-sniff or something so we can get a whiff of those gorgeous buds.
Thank you kindly! They do have a unique smell, I would say it smells/tastes like a dominantly sweet/fruity cotton candy flavor with a hint of skunk. It is quite a good tasting strain. :yummy:

Very nice harvest Les looks very tasty OG

Mahalo Brother OG! :circle-of-love: Hope all is going well in your world, my friend. :Namaste:

Just thought I'd toss up a few pics I took of the JHxChemdogxNYCD crosses, these things are something special, I feel it. :Namaste:

Just a couple more pics of those Swiss Cheese flowers (harvested Friday 5/01) drying. My method is that I leave the buds on their respective stems for at least 48 hours after the chop, and then I cut the stems away and make the pile nice and tidy. Leaving them on the stems for a good while seems to help the end result. Will give this batch another day before bagging because its a bit overcast today. Nice and dense nuggetry :yummy:
