Relaxed Lester's Garden Photos

I used to love Star Jasmine by my front door: such a fragrant welcome as the sun goes down.

You got me to thinking Rado, always good to think.........I remember being on vacation in Tunisia & the pleasant smell of the wild Jasmine in the evening. Such a wonderful smell & it brings back some great memories.

Jasmine is derived from the Persian Yasameen ("gift from God") through Arabic and Latin.

Yes, Jasmine & it's fragrance is a Gift.

Yeah I absolutely love the star jasmine, we got it all over the yard so the entire yard smells of it. Esp. when the temps come up. I got this monster bush/tree of it next to my window, I like to keep my window open at night for the cool breeze, so the lovely smell of jasmine comes through it and accompanies the crickets cricking. Really lovely stuff :circle-of-love:

Thank you :thanks:
Radogast

Haven't had time to do a full on sweeping update, or atleast I couldn't get pictures that were worthy enough to upload, so I figured I'd slap a few on anyway for the 'ol journal. Strawberries are doing great as normal, the tomatos are doing amazing, they loved their priobiotic tea a couple weeks ago. Full blooms everywhere! You can also see one of our Star Jasmine plants, the thing is absolutely incredible in full bloom! I want everyone to see it :)

PS The Cat says Hi! :) She loves her weeds! We grow them for her.

looking good. that cat has some big paws. my tomato plants are coming along, but still not big enough to go outside. I'll get pics tomorrow because I'm out today.

Found a bunch of worms on the tomatos this morning. About 10-11 to be exact. A few bigger ones, and some medium sized ones, and some real small ones. Also found a cluster of eggs. Had to go over every square inch of the 12 plants looking for 'em. Luckily I think I found 'em all. I also think tomato plants and heirloom brocolli are some of the best sacrificial bait plants. They seem to suck up all the bugs. Luckily nothing on my precious herbs :Namaste: :cheertwo:

Bugs most of them we hate but there are a lot that are so beneficial. Lester do you mind if I put a few garden pics on this journal?

Sure Bill! Go right ahead! :) :high-five:

Anyone can post their garden photos here if they wish :Namaste:

Cool thanks Lester and a Happy Shatterday to yea. Just some random pics of flowers and in the green house.

I loved this! Thank you so much for sharing. Things are very wonderful, so healthy and gorgeous. It really gives me an insight into the wonderful little garden of eden you have there. It must be a really nice place to relax , after all the hard work is done, that is!

Great Day to You Bill and Great Share, I would love it for you to continue updating on your regular garden! :circle-of-love:

Thanks Lester for the nice comments and for having this journal.

Here's a few more pictures of our yard. I'm hoping by the end of the growing season it will be like a park but there again time will tell.

Nice growing, BeemerBill

What is that row planted to the left in the first photo. The one that looks like monster leaf basil?

Thanks Radogast for the nice comments. In the first photo upper left is Brandy Wine tomato and lower left is spinach.
