Recess Is Over - Now To Muck Up The Lesson

Red, I'll sub up as soon as I find it mate, thanks....

Hey Grizz, it's one of the WWxSkunks, the other one looks OK so far, I suppose that's the joy of regular beans, at least this crazy weather has been good for something.

Oh well, cest la vie, at least the worms will enjoy him, I'll just have to pop something else, still plenty of time.

Today's day.... I had two jobs to do today.. last day on one I'd been working on the last fortnight, the other was hand over to the clients, only a few hours work. I'd planned on doing it Saturday but was told yesterday that it's handover today.. so went to shop last night and got tinters for the paint, planned on working late.. couple cones later, I'd convinced myself I'd get up at five and start at 5:30 the job I'd been at all week, get in front of the cleaners, go do the few hours work then be back by 9:30.. woke up at 5:45, got to the job at 6:30.. rolled walls, went to other job, tinters tinted the paint the wrong colour.. had to wait half hour for paint shop to open. Got the last tin of paint off the shelf, I went and tinted it, wrong colour.. stressing.. decided I'd use another type of paint and roll the whole walls, add extra hour to job.. got to the job, grab the tin, went to close my door, tin slipped out of my hand, hit the ground, lid flew off, paint everywhere... 5 hours later, finally finish, then go back to the other job, about four hours behind schedule... I had two ceilings to paint and three walls.. get the ceilings done and two walls, come to the last wall, can't get the painting off.. by this time I'm so over everything, I rip the painting off the wall, along with the hooks and half the sheet.. back there tomorrow for 20 minitirs to finish.. ever had one of those day when you can't wait to say goodbye to it, lol...

Sneaky, Chippy, you know exactly what my day was like.. man it's busy.. working all this weekend... I had to tell ex I couldn't have daughter but hopefully can have next Friday off and have her an extra day.. Christmas is coming to fast...

Came up with an awesome, well what I thought was an awesome idea.. I was going to get an old (67-74) Vw kombi ute.. thought, put out $6000 then spend next five years putting money into it and building it up.. yeah right.. haven't seen one under $20,000 and if they done up, $50,000 plus.. when did that happen? Man they were everywhere in paddocks when I was a kid, used to steal badges.. I thought they were still dime a dozen. Back to drawing board.. might look at what a hk braham, they'd have to be still be affordable but worth doing up..

Cost of just about anything old has gone up ten fold, bought most of my toranas back in the day for like $150, pushing to pick up a completely rusted shell for under 10k now, its ridiculous..

Im one of the last minute shoppers too  usually have most things done before hand but always find myself at the shops the day before trying to find the best of anything left on the shelves  Last year i had it all done weeks before, was pretty happy with myself till about midnight xmas eve when i realized how many presents i had to wrap in such a short amount of time lmao, its always something..

Oh shit that's right, Christmas Eve putting bikes together and wrapping.. I'm usually half cut too, few beers with the family Chrissy eve..

I'm even thinking what's about 15-20 years old that will look cool in another 15 years time.. must be something.. slightly different look than most cars made at same time or something slick.. remember those little cars that came out early 90's, looked like hot wheels cars, they eeere tiny Utes.. maybe Suzuki? Anyway, they worth heaps now. I'm going to look at some cars for collecting..

 suzuki mighty boy i think they were called  man even id love to own one of them things thinking about it now, never see them anymore. I remember a mate had a subaru hatchback thing similar to one of them, 2 cylinder engine, blew the thing up and took us about 30 mins to unbolt, lift motor out by hand and put the new one in

Im thinking there is going to be a lot of money in any aussie v8's soon, New holden comes out next year, biggest motor is a 230kw v6 running on an awd platform, not as wide and shorter (opel insignia), fords already dont have v8's, new falcons are 4's and 6's. There are a lot of car enthusiasts in australia and can see the prices will rise over the years the more rarer they become.

xe, really? Fairmont or the falcon also? Man I had about four of those in three years during late 90's early 2000...

Those Little Daihatsu might be worth looking into.. nothing else like them weee being made.. could see those shit boxes becoming collectable..
