:rofl: No worries bud. You are allowed to be a fanboy. It wouldn't be a hobby/passion if you weren't a fan of at least one breeder. I'm also always looking for the next best thing, and constantly growing og/kush/diesel crosses gets stale after a while. So it's good for me to broaden my horizons with discussions like these.

Why would Arjan set up a seed company with a water boy, win cups, waterboy leaves, then arjan pays for cup wins? Why would nevil work with him, then comeback as a co owner in a different company, if he was nothing but a water boy? Now from what I can tell, nevil and shanti split over cbd crew and nevil backdoor seed sales (not sure if any truth to this).. but I see comments from a dude praising shanties plants then a month after nevil left, same dudes calling shanti nothing but a waterboy.. we're a fickle bunch of stoners..
 
Yeah man, it's a mess out there. Only way to tell if someone is legit is to grow their stuff I suppose.

It's on video with replays but your both seeing two different things.. now imagine that's somebodies life, couldnt expect all to have the same opinion on how/what happened.. people are doing things for different reasons which makes the truth different for each individual..

Shit doesn't add up in any of the stories. But why care? I look at it this way. There's a ton of good genetics available everywhere. Who cares who's name is attached or what it's called? Judge each seed, each plant as an individual, doing so with no expectations. Forget that someone attached the name 'cookies' or whatever and judge it as an individual. Words and names are just that. Find what pleases you or your clients. Buying MRC VS anyone else doesn't guarantee you good genetics, it's a roll of the dice (a lot of them) what you get. If you're looking for a Cup winner in anyones packs, good luck. Buy some lottery tickets too, chances are about the same. Not impossible, merely really improbable.

You speak sense Heir. Something I'm only starting to realise now after 4 years of growing.
 
At least with mns you got a % to find the keepers of each strain, not lotto or unicorn hunting.. but this is why I hate the internet and what I was writing because you don't have to think that way, don't look at me as if I know everything/anything, your free to grow and smoke whatever you like..I want to feel I'm growing with the best genetics l, mns and a few other have these. Do I feel superior with these, no but I feel I'm giving myself better chance at finding the keepers I want.. not one have I found buy these cheap knockoff. Mutants and other shit but no keepers.. they not for me. For you, that's fine, I don't look down my nose or anything like that.. Do you feel inferior with what you grow? If no then I don't see what the problem here is.. it's like the auto thing.. people here think I totally hate the things etcetc. Lots of my friends grow them and they do wonders for them.and I'm totally impressed with their plants. Just not for my garden...the cost is also a major one. I could keep buying 3-5 seeds at $30-$70, or I could buy 18regs at $10-$40, lol... I don't know what you talking about that doesn't make sense, but that's alright.. nuffer must be an Aussie term, I thought it was universal..

I guess I was trying to express that I don't consider anybody's seeds as better than any others unless there are serious germination issues and weak suck plants. And for that I consider everyone elses beans better than GHS/SH. But I digress. I certainly wasn't coming down on you or anyone for buying MNS or anyothers. Just expressing my view.

Like I said earlier, problem with the internet.. shit looks like gospel cause we take the time to write it. Conversations can move, you (me)get stuck in the written word (I'm referring to everything I've written)
 
Speaking of hating on autos, the auto I love to hate.... DDA....

28 days since dropping seed. First flowers today. Can barely make out the lavender in the last pic, node in center.
